Right time for gambling addicts to come out of addiction?

To gambling addicts, If you are really an addict even using the fund for food on gambling you should not wait for Covid19 you should have stop before this virus came, But in this situation, I think it made you realized which is more important I hope you have priorities already.
It is hard to stop an addiction if you are alone so trying to communicate with other people and your family will really help.

I will not really term it as a right time to come out of addiction, but i think its an opportunity to come out of addiction
There are ban placement on sporting activities and the chances to gamble are less, also staying indoor is certain this days.

Addicts should use the time to get closed to television games, and come off gambling addiction in due time.

Not only the heart but also your mind should really be serious on quitting yet everything would follow if you are really tending to quit for good.
If not then you would just end up on playing gambling in the end of the day.This isnt the right time to quit and yes i agree on the word that its an opportunity
for people to lessen up their gambling activity yet most of gambling areas had been already stop or restricted due to current issues.
If a certain person doesnt care much even if its close would still end up on playing in the end of the day.

It could be a good time for those who wants to quit on sports betting but I don't think that it would end the addiction of other gamblers,
They are the only one who could stop it even if they couldn't bet rihht now for sure once the events starts again they would be back on betting.

It is not recommended to use the money for food to playing gambling because you cannot buy the food for yourself and your family if you don't have money or you lose that money for playing gambling. We need to prioritize our lives and family first than to use the money to gamble, so we need to make sure they can get enough food for their lives. As a former addicted gambler I can speculate that with people hunkering down due to the fear mongering associated with COVID-19 we may see an uptick in online gambling and whatnot.

People tend to gamble when they are bored, have financial stress or to scratch social itches.. So it is likely we will see an uptick of gambling.

I have all 3 of those. I am bored most of the time , financial stress? Big tick and don't even ask about the last one.

While an alright form of entertainment (albeit a potentially expensive one) it shouldn't be viewed as anything more than that.

I believe that all sports are being cancelled now!so there is no way we can find another sports to bet in?

But I don't think that if someone plays on sports and gets excited with the games will get the same experience if he tries the other gambling games because the feeling will be different. They will try many gambling games until they can found one or two gambling games that can give them an exciting feeling. Once they find that games, they will stay to play the game, and maybe they will play for a long time.

As we all know , Coronavirus has impacted each and every industry in the whole world and sports isn't an exception .

But the question is , is this the right time for gambling addicts to come out of addiction? The assumption I am making here is  that the gambling addicts are addicts on sports betting and not casino game addiction or poker .

I won't say this is the best time but it can serve as a building ground for your rehabilitation. You wanting to stop gambling now who be easier since the sport you gambled on aren't available so in most cases you have not be cured frwom the addition but just haven't been given an opportunity to gamble that's you're been restricted from gambling. In cases like this, thew individuals return back to gambling the moment their favorite sport games are back.

Addiction aren't like other disease that can be cured easily, especially when the substance or activity you're addicted to isn't easily available at the moment. To be assured of 100% rehabilitation, the substance should be present and your ability to resist the temptation of getting involved shows on effective your rehabilitation has been.

As long as we have internet connection we can still gamble. Although yeah, many sports were cancelled there is still other games online aside from sports betting that a player can choose from. Time to exit from addiction? It isn't easy. It's all in self control.  If you can really quit cold turkey and never look back, you can do that at any given time. However since there will be both more stress and less stress at the same time it all depends which you focus on. I have seen many people who gamble because they are stressed at work so they come home and gamble and just take their fun out of that, now many people will not go to work so they won't be stressed, sure we are still stressed about corona but doubt it would be for same thing.

 Plus while at home you will have plenty of time to actually focus on what you can do with all that many hours, more time to try to start something new or something, that way you can focus on that new thing, get a hobby for example, try to learn to paint, try to learn to code or whatever basically try to improve yourself, that way you can spend some weeks a lot bettering yourself instead of gambling.

Playing mobile legends with our friends, of course, will bring happiness and we can make boredom killer, and that is better than playing gambling. At this moment, I stop playing gambling and try to focus on health because I don't want to get sick or anything terrible that can comes. But I guess we can stop gambling at any time and don't depend on anything to stop because we can decide what we want without waiting for something.

I don't actually agree with that because I am talking specifically about sports gambling addicts . I like to bet on sports but I don't like to bet on dice or similar games so there are people who are sports gambling addicts and not other types .

I don't think that gambling addicts will come out of being addict on it just because of COVID-19, but the good thing is there are a lot of closed casinos as of this moment to avoid the virus, if there are still some open casinos and if the gamblers knew about it, then for sure he or she will go on that open casino just to play, that is how they are really addicted on gambling.

I recommend that they should play on online gambling if they really want to play, online gambling and real life casino is somehow related, you may still play the game you want to play in real life casino with money involves.

Time to relax to minimize on their loses in gambling, that's the right thing to say as when we say "gambling addicts", they usually loss their money in gambling. Hopefully they'll realize at this situation that they are just fooling themselves that they have the skills to win, they don't that's why they get addicted.

Honestly, it is right time to drop all addictions. Even drug users who will have harder time finding drugs because everyone is paranoid right now and in some nations there is bans so you may not even go outside to pick up your weed or cocaine or whatever drug you were using, so all in all you will be basically forced to quit.

Gambling addicts have harder time actually, we are all stuck at home and have nothing to do, we can't really rely on netflix for way too long, eventually we will be bored and that's when we will start to gamble. This staying at home thing will cause many casinos to make a lot more profits as well, since we are all at home and have nothing to use our money on, why not gamble with it? That could legit be a reason to even start gambling let alone stop it.
