If the OP is talking about the economic crisis today, then it is obviously because of the pandemic. People would always choose to have fiat currency in their hands for easy access on basic necessities to survive the lockdown.

Business goes on as usual. The fastfood restaurants that doesn't offer delivery since day one though are now offering the free delivery. Things change and businesses adopted almost instantly.  I can only see few walking around but business is going on and banks are allowing people to withdraw as long as lockdown goes on. The transport of goods aren't shutdown, everything look good still. Its just funny people talking from a distance like everyone has leprosy.

What we need to understand together is that between crypto and fiat we both need, because what is not served through crypto can clearly be served in real terms, so everyone needs both, both in crisis conditions and in normal conditions.

Probably OP was referring to this 2008 Financial Crisis, the cause of this worst economic crisis back then was a great depression. At that time cryptocurrency wasn't yet discovered.

Probably cryptocurrency is great for the purpose of the valuable asset but when it comes to financial purposes to have financial freedom probably I won't agree on this. This economic crisis that we had now is due to pandemic coronavirus and most countries are lockdown or maybe enhance with quarantine at home. Still, fiat currency is the best when we have disasters like this.

I think it's kinda different now compare to the 2008 financial crisis. Since on the current crises, we experience a natural calamity like this coronavirus (covid19) outbreak which is kinda expected and predicted that we will experience some of these crises.
And for sure, banks have the plan after what they experienced in the last 2008 financial crisis.
Although, even for me, Bitcoin is really good and the best time to buy is now when most of the people are afraid, well it's just my own opinion, not financial advice.

In my opinion, you are right, but there are many newbies in crypto and they don`t understand whole potential of cryptocurrency, so they think that crypto market is like others and they try to sell all their assets and it`s like snowball. If the banks are going to close sooner or later the cryptocurrency will for surely gonna be a big deal since they need to transact still even if without fiat. So as a suggestion, we must adopt or at least invest on cryptocurrency because sooner or later this is gonna be the new face of the money.

How different will it be if you'll still need to cashout your cryptocurrency to fiat before you can spend them, that means investing in cryptocurrency or holding fiat won't make any different as all industry will be affected. Agreed. But what if crypto goes down another -70%? You would've wished you had kept fiat instead of crypto.

I did not see a link about it, related to this matter that cryptoqurrency might not exist at the time. but I personally don't think that cryptoqurrency will be a big problem.
