I do not think gold has always been a challenger with crypto currency, and even with the massive dips everywhere, gold went slightly down to 48$ from 52$ according to digital gold stable coin statistics on coinmarketcap.

Although I agree with you that the financial systems are being hit as a result of the current issue on ground but however I do not think it will get to the point where they will lock out customers funds or make withdrawal extremely difficult as it will only result in more problems. The truth is, not every platform or in fact a greater number of platforms are yet to adopt crypto; so you can see holding more crypto might not work out. However, I think it is far better to hold both crypto and fiat and use each when the time calls for it.

Absolutely! It needs guts to buy crypto at the crisis period! Because not everyone can take the dumping pressure! And it is thinkable that if a financial crisis happens, Bitcoin will go for 2K-1K USD zone!
