I'm not suprised if John McAfee take back his previous prediction about bitcoin to clinch $500,000 this year because people like him wont understand main potential of bitcoin and they are only here to steal, lie and profit from the crypto system which the reason why he never make himself responsible for all his mistakes. But, he need to becareful though orelse what he's doing in crypto sphere will affect the respect and love people have for him.

McAfee already gained a lot of popularity, and many people believe all the things he said because of he already a powerful man but still it is better if we don't rely on the man like this that does not have a word, instead it is better if we make an explore and prediction at our own because we know the truth and the possible outcome instead of getting dependent on the man just like predicting the market of the coin easily even we can do that at our own too.

Honestly, this guy is just a joke and trying to grab attention. If he said that the price of bitcoin would reach "$500,000 USD" and "he would eat his dick if it didn't" on purpose and as a preplan to grab peoples attention before promoting xmr, eth and dai, then yeah, I would say he is a genius and his plan worked out really good. Look at how much attention people are now giving this guy. You can see people discussing about him every now and then everywhere.

Attention is the one that he wants, he just a simple person who is just making predictions about bitcoin. It is proven that his prediction are always not happening so why we should not give a damn f*ck to him. He is just want attention to the public and it is the reason why he is making predictions. Let him away, don't feel too much about what he's saying. All we need to do right now is watching the market because the market now is down. Now the price got a red candle, and we don't know how long this will change to the green candle again. But I admitted that he make some noise in the crypto sphere and make people have a big hope to see bitcoin really touch his prediction price. I don’t think it’s worth 100 percent to trust his predictions, because he is the same person as we all are and he can be wrong.

His promise now seems far from impossible as world is already under economic crisis and there's such less amount of time left till the time of prediction comes.
Maybe at the time when bitcoin was at $20k it could have been an imaginable possibility but that was also due to many economic factors like in India it was the time of demonetization and people were finding solutions to convert their black money into something useful without being caught by prying eyes so in India the Bitcoin was going at a premium Price as compared to the world.

Same thing happened in greece, people converted drachmas to BTC in 2015, so they would be able to transfer money during economic collapse.

Back to the topic about McAfee, he would be better comedian and entertainer then crypto analyst.

According to what he said on Twitter app, he used a similar strategy that was used in predicting the $20,000 all time high price. But for me I would still say that the prediction he has made is ridiculously high. To show that he doesn’t know what he’s doing, he still came out later to tell his followers that Bitcoin is a fake and they should disregard it and move over to other cryptocurrencies, especially Ethereum which he sees as the future.

So, he doesn’t even know what he’s doing and all his predictions came out wrong. He’s not the only one involved in this, there are lots of them.

What can be trusted from a "guesswork"? Even if it happens is just a coincidence, even if it is not proven, it will only make it as nonsense. Cryptocurrency is very volatile, difficult to guess, no one can really predict the price, only speculation. So don't drift easily, moreover, make the opinion or analysis of less competent influencers as a reference.

That John McAfee gives no interest at all. He's been making such speculations without any basis and his mind is blowing in the air. Maybe he is really optimistic person but after having that prediction and many predictions he made, maybe everyone thinks not normal anymore.
I should never be fooled and fall into his drama, he probably knows about crypto but he is not able to understand it nor he gets what being unpredictable market being predicted. It was so much for John, maybe it was time to forget his name.

When i was very new in the bitcoin world, i followed him a lot and was impressed by his predictions and always thought they could become true one day. But to my disappointment, none of his predictions was correct. I have stopped following him now and would advise everybody to do their own research instead of following others.

this has been tackled in other thread i believe and for how many occasions same discussion happens about this eating of his banana but of course  Monero is not gonna do like what Bitcoin does.
