and attract writers to use the benefits. By doing creative writing, you have a good chance of earning a decent amount of

This is not so big amount for long term holding but still can be nice for the beginning.
I suggest you think about trading with them, rather than just holding it. sell/buy you will contribute more to the project if you help increase the daily volume of trade.
BGL market is not dynamic like some of the major coins, so it is great for less experienced traders.
