Bumping because I think you should add Lauda's name to your list, as she was an upstanding member of the community and permanently left the forum a few days ago, erasing all avenues of coming back. For the legacy thread you can use Goodbye, world!.

I haven't read through that entire "Goodbye World" thread, but perhaps I should.  There have been a lot of members who've said they were leaving the forum for good, and then they don't.

It is not only a matter of theymos’ grant of the requested ban (with extreme measures!).  And although it is one thread that I do recommend reading, even just OP thereby in itself is clear enough:

Thank your for this post. I knew about the Lauda case but forgot to add it here.

It is a bad story and if you scan through the thread, Lauda is the first member left a reply here. I also quote my post in the "Goodbye, world" thread. OP will be updated soon.

I did not know Lauda too much but read Lauda's posts sometimes and his/her advise in my threads. I heard of cat drama years ago but never spent my time to read all about the drama.

Today, it is sad to see Lauda's goodbye thread.

I know how difficult to abandon the forum especially after you have spent years here, as a member and as a moderator. To mark your abandonment, I took the screenshot for you. Newbies, years later, will aks questions like "Who is Lauda?"

Recently, the topic of Lauda's termination (Goodbye world!) has been warmed up again that combines with some scam accusation I read, I suddenly remember about ICOEthics

The user was one of the most actively and best scam fighters in the past and has a website. Suddenly, since July 2019, turned to inactively and never come back.

Anyone knows what happened with ICOEthics, please share!

In addition, I think the 3 years unresponsive is enough to put the user into the Bitcointalk's Hall of fame. Obviously I wish that the user is still fine in real life.

I also remember the fact that ICOEthics was a user with great contributions to the forum and, furthermore, I also asked once about what happened to him. Sadly, similar to this moment, nobody knew what to answer to this question. While hoping he is okay, I'd like to state that I am sharing tranthidung's opinion and I agree that ICOEthics should be included to forum's Hall of Fame.

Flow is as follows

• It triggers me about this thread "Hall of fame"
• Then I visit Reputation and Scam accusation board -- that is a board I barely visit
• In turn, the combination between Scam accusation and Hall of fame causes me to check and found the case for Goat (renamed to El Cabron)
• Later, occasionally I found another thing but I won't talk about it now

Oh, I see now... Well, as you probably realized yourself, nobody reading your earlier post (from Lauda's topic) could possibly understand what you actually meant... As about for Goat / El Cabron -- this is another sad incident, involving a user which is also part of forum's VIP group (meaning that he donated 50 BTC to the forum). Yet, he's not the only VIP or Donator involved in scams and other shenanigans... Take TradeFortress' case, for example, which is still debated nowadays. TF even has admirers! And TF has more guts than El Cabron, as he is still active inside the forum. El Cabron disappeared completely, years ago.

But what was the link though between Scam accusation board, Hall of Fame topic and El Cabron?

JusticeForYou, a VIP member, 50% likely a hacked account.
VIP member hacked?
In 2019, he woke up, reset password and joined a campaign managed by Hhampuz. Later, theymos wrote his investigation result that this account is likely hacked.

When I made the post above, I saw that user woke up after a long time, reset password again. I sent him a DM but never reply to me. Recently, another wake-up and this time is worse, apply to join in a signature campaign of a scam gambling site.

With this recent action, it is more than 50% likely a hacked account.

I know about him and his faucet, both are legends but I have to consider does it fit to the topic? If it fits, I will add it here but probably it does not.
