@Steamtyme first one knocked out today after that #2 run yesterday. i saw that turned flush vs rivered boat hand. brutal!
Yeah that one hurt. Used a couple of choice words for the next 10 minutes or so. Either way I'll be back in 2 weeks hopefully with a chance to get into the final still.

This is surely going to be an evening between me and HHampuz.  Three big hand head to head and all these three times he won big.
Yeah Hhampuz is rocking that run good energy today.

Here is yesterdays video. Posted in my discussion thread. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5214582.msg54450663#msg54450663

2nd, his comeback hand. I had AA and he had KK in preflop. He gone ALL IN I called! In the flop he got another K, Fuck my luck lol

Imagine!!!

If I were you I would have called it as well, Its an obvious choice for everyone especially when you have the higher chip stack. Luck factor really plays out well tonight, enjoy the game though  Wink

For this week I can only say "catastrophe", and that is maybe a gentle word!

I got Knocked out of the game as well too bad indeed  Cheesy . 11th place and the one that knocked me out was tyki . I was too impatient getting pressured by FOMA and goes all in with bad card trying to bluff but lol Tyki called my bluff .

Damn I guess this wasnt meant to be our night as we get alot of points yesterday already. Im curious to see who the winner will be this night ..

Fuck that Q at the River!

I was running out of chips and from last 10 to 15 rounds I did not find a good hand so folded most of the times. Then I had this and thought to take my last chance since the blinds are going high so I had to do something. Everyone folded except the small blind. Gambled and won with that fucking Q in the River.

The poker God was not with me today too but I am happy the way I fought. HHampuz won trice against me and all of them were fairy luck for him. It seemed whatever he do against me, he gets it LOL

As a noob, it feels good~
I am too a noob and it's not even three complete months I learned poker 🤪

Even though I am out by now but this is first time I am feeling great because of the way I handled my hands even after all these big losing hands.

i was pretty short-stacked coming into the final table. fortunately i was dealt JJ at a crucial time and won a flip vs AKo.

there are still 7 of us at the 3rd break! blinds are super high vs stacks. the biggest stack (@bitmutiny/imaginethat) only has 24 bbs. this has been a very tight/intense final table---lots of push/fold poker going on. there should be several knockouts coming soon.....

Lucky you but don't feel much luckier than HHampuz today 🤪

Imagine how hard is this too handle?
I have AA and HHampuz with KK. He I called 500 chips and he gone ALL IN in the pre-flop. But see what happened!

He had nothing left and could burst long ago 😀

By the way, I actually had the lowest chips when we are at the final table, all together but could not recover at the end.

@HHampuz, crash man! This is your day brother.

i'm out in 6th. Undecided

the table was still very tight at the time. it folded around to me with T9s on the BTN w/ 9bbs left and the other 2 short stacks on the blinds. i did not want a call, but i figured i had very strong fold equity vs them considering how strong my preflop shoves had been and how tight the table was acting + strong (likely) live cards. 1r0n1c snap called with A6o though:

it seemed like a really light call to me for his whole stack. oh well, it's tough to win if you can't take down a couple of these crucial 50-50 flips. no dice this time. at least i snagged a few points towards the championship.

pretty disappointing weekend overall. no action on monsters, not winning enough flips. i'm gonna play in "the little BTC" and event #166 later, let's see if i can turn it around......

Still a pretty decent position , you were one of the lowest stack of chips but you managed to turn things around

at least i snagged a few points towards the championship.

Points matter

Btw This game went over 3 hours and 50 minutes , with only 19 players. I guess there are some variance comparing to last night's game

I just settled in for the last 30 mins with2 players but it was brutal. About 5 seconds.  Smiley

ggs

Yes indeed, it was brutal from Hhampuz and Ir0n1c

Congratulation Hhampuz, you were great tonight also to the runner up Ir0n1c  Smiley . Damn Ir0n1c actually managed to get 19 points with only playing for 2 times

Also no sign for sygambler again today  Sad. Guess he got something to do tonight

Man you're so confident and doing great all the time on the table. Must be great if you had beaten Hhampuz with that AA. Look what you have done, he won 1st now lol.

And congrats Hhampuz, you deserve it! And 1r0n1c is a beast!

Congratulations @Hhampuz, well done.

I probably used all my luck for a loooong time after rivering two flushs and a straight in crucial situations Roll Eyes

The overall standings midway through:

@Betwrong is the only player to play all four tournaments and finishing in the points every time, chapeau.
@figmentofmyass and @CCwatcher420 are very constant and apart from Betwrong the only players to finish in the points at least three times.
@1r0n1c is probably the most efficient one, placing first and second in his only two participations.
@jayce got his first point(s) today after three unsuccessful tries.
@Hhampuz either places very bad or very good, there seems to be no middle for him - go big or go home.

Hey guys,

I hope you had a great poker time yesterday - I couldn't make it and when I saw all the "last minute" messages in my e-mail inbox, I asked tyKiwanuka to notify you - from what I see, he even took care of everything so once again - big thanks for that mate!!!

Looking at the spreadsheet and checking the chips, everything should be correct - if it's not, please let me know!

Have a nice week!

How can you finish 7th in a tournament with 4 paid places and be happy about the result nevertheless?

That's what happened to me yesterday when I realized that I was going to be in the top row of that list with my 22 points. I mean, I'd be honoured to be in the top 5, but the 1st place ... it's too much to bear, in the opposite sense of the phrase. Well,  you see, I have no right words to express how happy I am.

Ofc it was luck, luck and luck again. Just one example: I went to the kitchen for a beer and when I returned I saw that I was a second late for calling all-in with my pocket Jacks. And you know what? It turned out I would have lost!

Good game, everyone! Congrats @Hhampuz on the win!

See you in the upcoming games, guys!

Sincerely wish you all more luck in the future! (after all, it can't stay with me all the time, right? Smiley )

Added the first series and some stats to the spreadsheet, if anyone is interested Smiley Looks like around 20 players per tournament is the standard now, which is fine imo regarding duration, as long as we have two tournaments per weekend. If we switch to one tournament per weekend in the future, we could use some more players.

Average finish:

In the money (this is just based on Top4):

Most points finishes:

Most participations - efialtis ended his streak yesterday:

Thank you for taking the time to put these extra stats together. I'm surprised to see my name in the top money finishes. hah

Pretty rough last three games for me though, couldn't get any points, had some extremely bad reads which for some reason i just couldn't avoid. I hope to turn things around in the second half of the series, but it's not going to be easy, can tell you this much! I also need to make some adjustments to my overall strategy otherwise, i don't stand a chance.

Late reg won't be changed, correct?
