Although there are better things to do than gambling, its only with gambling that they find pleasure.
I can understand why they spend it to gamble though. There is crisis, they need money and one way to make money is to gamble the money they got from the government.

This discussion is more interesting if it's about wealth redistribution (economics) actually since no matter how much you give money to the poor people, they will go back to their previous "level." funny and weird, many ways that some gambling bettors can do in my country, but manually they do it.

Im aware on this one and im sure i do live on the same country as yours where that amelioration received from the government has been used for them to gamble instead on

You will not believe if I tell you even though we hit so hard with this pandemic that there are some people who manage to gather some people to play with them. this is the difference of gambling than the other games. they will now stop even though the government has urge the suspension of any outdoor gambling. but some people are just can't help themselves.

It is not wrong to gamble as such and yes crowding a place definitely is not allowed at this time unless government has lifted the restrictions and free movement can take place. But just thinking from longer perspective this money could be so important for those people if they do not have enough money to survive some more months if lockdown does exists or businesses would anyways be impacted due to this and jobs may be losses by some people on account of this covid situation so this money will be little helpful for them only.

This is the sad reality that had been happening on this world on where there are really people cant really just help themselves and just tend to gamble

If you take a look at it closely and analyze the behavior of these people who still gamble even if we are in pandemic, you'll find out that it is the "normal" thing in their daily lives. They are just doing what they feel is normal. We all know that what's happening right now is so bizarre in today's age. There are a lot of them, to be honest.

Our captain here is having a hard time controlling those people and it is not just the people who gamble, there are also those people that don't follow the ECQ policies and those people that even do drugs. Gambling is quite easy to spot since you could easily see a gathering of people, drugs though is a different story that is why there are militaries here guarding in our place.
