There are a lot of things that should be prioritized and not gambling, you can play video games, you can entertain yourself without even spending a money. I know the this quarantine is really boring but spending your money in gambling isn't the best decision to make yourself busy. There are household chores that you need to do instead of wasting money, gambling is very risky and most of the people know that. Obvious yes, they (the addicted gamblers) can't just help it especially as the lockdown would also means other activities will be on shutdown. The disturbing true is that, majority of them are usually youths in their early 18-25 years. I think that happens too in other countries. While people get the fund from their government, they think to use that money for playing gambling which they cannot do before. There were cash assistance from our national government distributed to qualified individuals via local government officials, but its inevitable if there's no bias distribution that's going to happen specially we're dealing with money.
Some people recieved the cash assistance even if they aren't financially qualified. Now, the money went into gambling, such as card games, cock fights, and other games that involves money. It's the same here in our country, people who are considered the poorest among the poor, those who are laid off, and even single parents received help from the government. However, I believe not everyone deserves this money from the government. Yes, I read that news but you know, not all of them aren't really a pure gambler.

Yeah, I don't know why people have this kind of poor mindset, the government is trying to help them in the pandemic of COVID-19 but they have this kind of mindset and use the money to their greed use it to gamble or buy things that is not essential. A lot of people here in our country are caught gambling even though it is not allowed to go outside since digital currency is not really adopted here in our country they just go in the neighborhood and play.

Having this poor mindset will make you poor and stay poor, without a job to make a living they should be wise where to spend their money especially the money came from the government.

VR games could be considered physical sports too, partially. You have to move your entire body to play. For example, if there were any Pavlov VR (or Onwards VR) tournaments, every player would have to physically move their body to play. But then there are some games like CS:GO that only require hand movements.

Dota take to another level and the businessman see this opportunity to try on other games since Esports is billion dollar industry but I don't call it as physical game since there's no one get hurt physically, this kind of sport the players s challenge mentally.
