When you got free money just because of pandemic and you can afford to lose then there is nothing wrong with gambling on it but if people are gathering in a place which can cause the spread then that should be punished by the government.

Some of my friends still playing crypto gambling games at their homes because they send the message to the WhatsApp group chat, and sometimes they give an image on what they did at home. Well, they don't play gambling all day long, but they show their activity besides doing another thing.

I think that is okay for them, as long as they can limiting themselves in gambling, and they know that they need to have another thing to do so they don't just play gambling. So far, they enjoy their time at home, they don't feel bad or anything, and they can have time with their family too besides playing gambling.

There are lot of gamblers that ain't gonna stop by the pandemic we experience today. We may stay at home and avoid contact to the outside but gamblers will always continue what they want. We all know that gambling can be played both online and offline, so gamblers are not that just affected in quarantine except to those are life is gambling and those people that are most familliar in offline gamblings.

The only restriction right now is to gamble in a casino but to gamble online isn't restricted so gamblers can still gamble online in their homes however right now, if they really want to gamble then do it with moderation. Anyone could feel anger and disappointment for that way people are using the money given by the government which is supposedly it is for their necessities during this time but they use it for their wants and gambling. Or worst commit a crime because they all lost the money that they needed for their family to support them in this pandemic. It's really hard to control our gambling addiction specially in this quarantine period and gamblers are willing to take the risk. Maybe they know the consequences of their action, but it is a waste as the money given to them is supposedly help them get through this crisis and help them survived.

I'd like to assume that those who receive a financial support from the government are the poorest of the poor, therefore they can't afford to gamble because they only have money for their needs and for some, it's not even enough to sustain their needs in the period of quarantine.

It's the same here in our country, people who are considered the poorest among the poor, those who are laid off, and even single parents received help from the government. However, I believe not everyone deserves this money from the government. There are a lot of people who received financial help who used it for gambling, drugs, alcohol and etc. , while there are workers who were not qualified for this financial aid. It would be better if they would have given thia to those who are in need, or those who are really paying tax who were laid-off from work.

In third world countries, it happens in remote areas and slums areas, the authorities will have a hard time catching all of them because they have a guard outside in case there is a raid, this is just a small-time game, but winners can buy more foods and their needs and the losers will have to ask for more dole from the government, sad and bad scenarios.

I know personally some friend that "like to bet" on events that they haven't idea (likewise a match of an unknown league but with the good odds).
I think this is close to trash money in rubbish since without a deep knowledge about a match/team/season/league/sport it's very easy get fooled and lost a waste money. Better idea is take a pause in this period. If you're stressed you will not improve your winning chance .

There is no wrong in betting/gambling in this kind of situation because this is the most boring time we ever experience in our entire life,forced to stay at home for 2 months?

But Spending the money that supposedly for support to bring food in your table and instead use to Gamble?this is Sh*t people and they are not the one who must received this Help from the government.

There are a lot of things that should be prioritized and not gambling, you can play video games, you can entertain yourself without even spending a money. I know the this quarantine is really boring but spending your money in gambling isn't the best decision to make yourself busy. There are household chores that you need to do instead of wasting money, gambling is very risky and most of the people know that. Those casinos should give some help and donations to those people who are really needy so that people will recognize them and will increase their reputation for more customers to visit them after this pandemic.
