I won't blame them since with the lockdown being enforced they find gambling as the best activity to get engaged into. But yeah there aren't much matches but as long as there are gambling lines provided there will always be gamblers betting on them. I don't agree. We are in the right place to say that it is bad for them and we are also in the right place to report these people to the proper authorities. The government's money is the people's money. And that assistance given to them is not given so that they will merely gamble with it. Yes, I read that news but you know, not all of them aren't really a pure gambler.

I'd like to assume that those who receive a financial support from the government are the poorest of the poor, therefore they can't afford to gamble because they only have money for their needs and for some, it's not even enough to sustain their needs in the period of quarantine.

Filipinos are just like that sometimes, there are people who cheat the government, they still gamble despite of the tough situation, not thinking of the future and if they lose, they will blame the government, these are the people that should be reported so they'll not be given by the government anymore.

It would be still useless if they would go outside and play into those physical casinos since we do know that theyre still close even up to this day due to that quarantine order.

I don't know anything about the casino goer people most of it all of it are closed even in the no infected, zero cases areas. Anyway going back, the traditional gambling here in my country, is having native chickens fight or cockfight matches and crowd can place bets on which chicken would win (it was called here as sabong), it is now temporarily illegal here to operate. And havin' it missin' so badly by some people, there were some matches held secretly in various location. It is funny that, here in my residence a group of around 6-7 people got busted, and they got detained, heavily fined, and the worst thing on top if all is that, their chickens had been confiscated and cooked to be served for policemen and some frontliners. That must be hurt a lot, losing their chickens and having it cooked right away rather than getting caught, and having them heavily fined.

Sabong here, is more like a culture. And it is the most favorite game by elderly here. Well, there were still some busted cases here but it ain't have much of an impact, you know card games and such.

Actually not some gamblers become addicted to gambling, but majority of gamblers become addicted to gambling. If a person looses a lot in gambling then he gets obsessed to win back what they lost and in this process they don't think what's right and what's wrong.

You must know that not all gambling games aren't illegal. There are gambling games that is legal to both people and government. The word gambling isn't always connected to the word illegal. And one of the easiest and fast way of earning nowadays are by gambling. Many people engaged in gambling because of this positive idea yet not all people have this kind of idea. To relax, actually, people will have more chance to do many things, especially with their friends or family at their home. But yes, if they get addicted, they can become don't care about anything because what they think is only playing gambling. We've seen worse than this actually. Some will even bet their kidneys to satisfy.

They are hopefully trying to earn easy money from the money they got from their government and of course, everyone around them got some of it and also want to grow their money. This isn't hard to figure what happens in the ground, two, three to four men having the same amount of money and they all want to have more.
