Never trust an ICO ranking site!

I have known that for a long time now especially during the time ICOs were still very much active. As of then most people shared their concerns on how ICO ranking sites will rate a project good or give high rate and the project will end up becoming the reverse of the rate given to it. This lead to the creation of many ICO ranking sites but yet all are in one way or the other, the same. It is good you have known the truth, with it, you can make more informed decisions on the type of project to invest in; take note, not only for ICOs as they are already dead but IEOs as well.

Never trust anything, first check it then trust it. Many people fall on info from certain sites, it's why in crypto we have buy the rumor and sell the news, and that will never change. But we can't blame anyone here, it's one them to show their results, we are free to check any site on other places and confirm can they be trusted or not! Generally, I don't trust anything before I check them with some little money and for some period of time, trust comes with time!

Dont trust ICO ranking site because its not reliable and can be manipulated by the team for their ICO to look legit.

Do an extensive research thats the best way to know how good the project is.

Nowadays ICOs are not getting much of attention unlike before due to scam and investors learned their lesson to not trust easily.

Well, those ico rating sites are clearly paid by the projects in order to get good reviews in order to encourage investors to put ventures on it. More likely a shilling tactics to boost projects's reputation to the crypto communities and in order to give detailed information towards a crypto project that are newly established. This paid reviews are part of the marketing and we cannot deny and stop it because they paid for it. In order not to get scam it is best to do more research towards about that project.

FOllowing IEO's from reputable exchange is far reliable than trusting those ranking sites where the admin can be paid by scammers to place the project at the higher position. Most of the projects nowadays are having difficulties to survive it's tough to compete with with lots of new coins that being introduce from time to time.

I don't think all ICO ratings give wrong information because I've seen several ICO ratings that provide good information but in this condition there is no longer any clean, everything can be controlled when they pay you a very high amount, that's why in some ICO rating offers to make it a good high-value rating.

Politics has eaten deep into some many affairs of life and cryptocurrency world is not an exemption. So many things are going wrong all because of what to gain. Many are buying their way into so many areas these days. We can only hope for a better tomorrow. How I wish ICO ranking can take a new turn for the future of cryptocurrency.

I don't think ICO ranking is still useful now that ICO is not anymore popular.
Was not following the most of the IEO now, but I think they have already called it an IEO ranking.

For now, I guess we have to forget about ICO and focus on the IEO as the success are now coming from IEO, especially on big exchange.

True, IEO's didn’t concerned to add in rating sites, actually there no necessity to get positive comments from thrid party. Exchanges is enough to promote through announcing agreement in their social networks before launch. But all of rating sites listed IEO projects without developers permission. I have seen in that cases of Binance launchpad projects.

Not all IEO are capable producing profits. This aspect limits only to those good exchange and those that have keep trying only resulted to loss. See how p2pb2b and latoken experienced? These exchange conducting IEO too but I would never buy single IEO token from their offers. They dont introduced good projects but keep running IEO for what? Money? Of course its the reason. Even with huge exchange this is the case but at least they are doing their prep work.

ICO sites cant be trusted anymore and this is a fact. Maybe the hype of 2017 will never happen again on ICO space.

I think the promotors promoting the ico and these ranking sites and excels are all a farce. It was at its peak during the 2017 bull run and too many people fell for it.

Well you can always put it at your own advantage. You just don't have to believer at everything they provide you in their website since you know most of it can be misleading, you always have to check all their information and separate facts from fiction and you can only do that if you do your own research about the project. Why would you even believe the rating that the website has given, does everybody know what even the criteria is for their ratings? I don't think so, even that kind of information can be misleading a lot of people here that if they score a higher rating they would be a better investment compared to other ICOs. So really just use this websites as an introduction to their project but never trust the ratings they give.

You are just saying the truth. ICO ranking has become a business to get free tokens from the project team. The more you pay, the higher your ranking. It has now become a bazaar and I pitty those who rely on ICO ranking sites to make decision.

Yes, actually everywhere now paying business. There are very little sector that work researchable. So ICO site also like that to me but problem is those who going to trust that site they are foolish. If it goes true ICO, there are everything in their site so that any investors easily check them. But if they make only trust to ICO ranking fishing site, its very disgusting.

First of all, we need to realize that these ICO rating websites are not NGOs. Their operation is purely profit-based. Under such circumstances, I won't be surprised if some of these sites publish rigged reviews, under the influence of bribes. First and foremost, take some time and do a proper analysis of the project in which you want to invest. Don't go by the reviews and ratings alone.

I kinda understand their point of view as well. If I start a company and there are not really that many people that visit and make me money from affiliate links and ads and all of that, I think it is understandable why they would sell their integrity and rank some ICO's who they have no idea about (maybe good, maybe bad, maybe scam, who knows) as awesome because they get paid.

These people need to pay their bills somehow as well, and even though most of us would probably say we would rather have our honor and not make money, when someone offers you 5 thousand dollars to give them 5 stars, it suddenly starts to become very hard to decline those type of offers. I had 300 dollars offer just to tweet someone once, I didn't even thought about it twice honestly.

At this time nobody trusts the ICO website anymore, because the average ICO project no longer benefits anyone, including investors, so don't worry about the ICO website because now people are busy analyzing the IEO projects that are in the top exchanges.

I don't believe in ICO ranking sites. Most of them are paid and not real.
The more they get from the team (payment) the better the rank they will give!

What I am looking for in ICO is looking at MVP, live and working products. Something that really can make a difference. Not just empty words with fancy pictures.

It has been known for a very long time that those ranking websites are useless because as you say they accept payment for a better ranking defeating the whole purpose of their website by doing that, there is nothing that can substitute doing your due diligence on each project in which you are interested in investing and if you are not willing to do that then you have no chance of becoming a successful investor in the future and most likely you will lose everything that you have very soon.
