Yes, it's indeed true many ico ranking sites has been showing some of the worst reviews. That's why you need to spend most of the time on your own research to get genuine reviews towards the ico. As well on the other hand their are some good ico ranking sites which has been doing really well by providing good source of information.

Yes they do provide a piece of good information about a particular project, but I don't trust them any more for all their recommendations on what projects are good to invest, I've been burned several times by their recommendations so I don't trust them anymore I prefer listening to my co-investors and bounty hunters than these ICO rating sites.

Yub! Personal experiences, instincts and knowledges are really important and helpful in doing this business. I don't usually trust any comments, rankings or opinions even in other circumstances. I prefer to explore anf study myself. I'll take others' experiences and comments as references.

They are still useful to make quick judgement though and if the reason behind why we look up certain project in ico ranking is not as crucial as investing. The sole reason of that site existence is for money and that's why many websites similar like that eager to advertise themselves in many crypto groups, to gather views which means a lot more money.

I don't think there is even one reliable ICO ranking site, that you can trust with all your heart. Since they are basing their ratings from the docs submitted by the dev team and the links associated with it, they have no way of knowing the real motives of the dev team. I don't think the project's owner will say to the ranking site that they will just grab money from naive users, right?

Until now, I also don't really believe it, but I still use it as a reference. they certainly have their own strands to give branches to a project. if they do it randomly, I'm sure the site won't be famous. however, I prioritize my own opinion rather than looking at the rate on the site.

If you have a poll here 90% of the voters or participants will not trust ICO anymore, why would we, when they can contribute to the mess of ICO I used to check on the credibility of the projects on their list but after proving that they are giving a good rating to those scam projects because of the fee they received I lost trust on these ICO rating sites.

Yes I do agree with you. There has been many incidents in the past that has led to people not trusting those sites. You should always come to conclusion based on multiple websites and not just one website. it always helps to look at different websites and do your own research.

Yes, I do agree with you, there have been many ICO ranking sites that had given lots of good reviews and ratings to the many ICO which hasn't have the potential because this is paid service and if ICO pays well to this ICO ranking sites they would give good ratings as well they would represent the ico like potentially great so everyone can join it. That's why keep doing your own research to find out what's right and what's wrong.

DYOR is a must but if we smart enough and we will not fall into the trap. We can use them all to be our reference to get more data related to the ICO or IEO. They were also actively listing the new ICO and IEO, we will need them all to help us to get the best decision from our research.

The fact that they provide some kind of offer for the projects that want to pay certain amount is already a dead giveaway but it seems for most of people nowadays their existence is still relevant enough that new ico ranking website keep appearing and offering their services in various groups. I guess wherever there's money there's always people that wants to make some fortune out of it.

This can go both way I think. You can not say everything wrong at first time but the reality is different. In cryptocurrencies arena there are so many projects are coming on daily basis. Some project maker are looking to make a brilliant idea project to help the society but some are looking to just do the ico or ieo then never look again. ICO ranking can do bad with us these things happened in past. So I can say never trust ico ranking site as a blind do your own research about project and they buy and sell whatever Yaar thank you.

ICO industry is like a heaven for all scammers, do you know from which source money comes? Mostly from people that are using ICO investments due to money laundering. So not only ICO creators are scammers but also some investors. What a crazy market.

It makes sense, but not all of us are scammers, there are honest people in cryptocurrencies. In case you don't like something about some new project you should just skip that one, nobody force anyone here to invest in unknown projects that can make you some profit, or not!

Well they have their own marketing strategy to attract investor on there project, It is really hard to know legit information and rely on any ranking site. It is better to investigate with your own and try to rely on other and ask with there opinions also.

It is true that we cannot fully trust true ICO review sites because of the fact that projects can use money to bribe them. However, to preliminary assess a project, we also need something to compare, preliminary assessment. So, personally, I think we can still rely on the reviews of those sites to rate it in part. For the remainder, we will examine the information posted by the ICO review project / website to verify: check the past projects that the CEO has done, about the feasibility of the project, about the team. the team, about the tools they are going to do, about the open source on github ... In short, the main job is still you, and the other information sources are for reference only.
