I've been away from esports for 3 days and i feel like i missed three full tournaments with the amount of games i skipped  

Spirit beat Astralis earlier today! what were the odds for that? i knew Spirit was gaining momentum. A clean 2-0 from Gambit against G2 is another big upset, i'm suddenly getting flashbacks of Gambit winning a major a few years ago 😂 Vitality shit the bed and Liquid are 1-0 up vs. NaVi...whew! profitable weekend for the bookies

FPX have dropped only two games in 8 matches and it happened in one match, against no other than the best team in the league EDward Gaming. Generous odds tbh, hopefully it isn't a trap (:

Navi and Astralis to win out, odds arent terrible but the bet I saw which makes fair bit of sense is Navi 2-1 beat over Liquid which yields odds over 3.

Liquid won their map pick, but Navi are the heavy favorites in the next two maps given their recent winrate %, could totally be a 2-1 for S1mple & Co

How do we comprehend this? Astralis, one of the greatest eSports(CS Go) team of all time against a team ranked 16 that we barely ever get to see at later stages of main events. They just crushed Astralis 15-0 on Dust 2. Astralis the tactical geniuses. <...>

typical Spirit. One week they look like a top 5 team beating the main favorites left and right, the other week they're shit. Maybe Astralis relaxed a little bit today knowing that they already were in the playoffs so winning didn't matter? sounds like your usual fanboy excuse, doesn't it?? =P

Navi went to over time, it was very nearly a pay-out but as always it seems safe to stick to 3 maps on this though it was lower odds its not bad any time its 2x or more.     Day of the underdog basically, I know Spirit are deadly but Astralis nearly lost 16-0 which is surprising for by far the dominant team world wide.   I attribute it to so much online gaming, general malaise and I will stick more to underdog and 3 map type bets.   I did go 3 maps with 1 bet and it was the largest bet but not quite covering the stakes, still Im not mad any time underdogs win tbh.

gtfo, FunPlus Phoenix! they suspended BO for match fixing^[1] and a couple hours later the team lost 0-2 vs. Team WE because his replacement is dogshit...ffs, at least wait until AFTER the match to kick him out lol

did someone manage see how much the odds moved after this news?
anyway, gonna avoid adding FPX to any tickets for the rest of the season or at least until they sign a proper replacement

Wow that's very surprising to see and looks like some are already speculating the ban would last to nearly a year at minimum. They're very lucky that the bans from Riot aren't harsh if the same thing happens on dota it'll be permanent lol.

I checked the odds on their next match which is against RNG on Saturday and there was a bit of movement from 1.5 to 1.6. I'm tempted to take RNG on this match since they've only lost once so far currently 6-1.

OG vs Secret has just been finished and Secret showing that they can remain on top even though they have lost game 2 of the series. Its really good to watch OG bringing out their play style which is just running at the opponents but Secret is just too good. I really hope Secret can keep this dominance once the pandemic subsided and different regions can start playing again. OG on the other hand will be facing a tie breaker with two teams. Its just impossible to create a bubble for this players because there will be so much players gathered at one location but as Gaben have said, its possible for New Zealand to be that location.

I'm skipping league for now since this week seems to be the last week of CIS, SEA and EU upper division and it's becoming interesting with the potential tiebreaker scenarios.

My pick for today is Neon @1.6 vs T1, last time they met it ended up 2-0 for T1 and with both teams still fighting for the major spots it could go to all three maps but i'm more confident on Neon's recent form than T1.

This match has over 2.5 maps written all over it for me. I am expecting it to go the distance since the teams are sort of equal and if one does not out draft the other significantly in both maps should pass easy. For safer option I have took T1 to win one map. Also very important match to clinch that 2nd position which makes over maps even better bet.

Anyway should be a good match and I actually placed the bet to give me something more to cheer about while watching it

For Dota, I generally go map to map basis just to make sure there aren't any cheese picks involved which could potentially be dangerous if I had bet pre-match. VP have beaten Furia, Vitality as well as NIP is a quick 2-0 fashion in a row and the momentum is with them. While, Astralis just lost to Team Spirit after winning the first map. 3rd map(Dust 2) was a blowout 16-1 in favor of Spirit. VP being from the same region as team Spirit and Dust 2 being one of the maps they are very comfortable playing on. We could potentially see Dust 2 in the map pool again. Should be a good match to watch. It is very tough for me personally to bet against Astralis. Just look at the names in the squad!

I like VP too in the last month, they definitely changed a lot since 2020. If they keep performing like that they should make Astralis fight for their money. For betting I focus more on CSGO than on Dota 2, but I still play some games myself. I agree that the most important thing about the game is drafting, playing a good game just comes natural if you have the hard counters against your enemies.

I think the Astralis moneyline is simply too good. You don't see those odds very often so might as well grab it while you can, no?    I do expect a very close map 1, it will be either D2, OVP or Inferno, and a quick look at VP's recent matches in those maps tells me that while they do have a tremendous winrate % there, the games end up being much closer than what you'd think, so my tickets for today are:

I am also on NaVi but more safe bet to take at least one map @1.65. I played it in a double with As Monaco Gambit -1.5 @2.3 which passed much easier than I expected. They destroyed Extremum in both maps with great performances from Noone on Kunkka. Can't believe they let him play it on second map after the first.

Skipping on CS for the time being. I lost money on almost all games I had a bet on in the last couple of weeks so waiting for my mojo to come back.

When it comes to Dota 2,  VP are on a 6 match win streak while Navi were on a 7 game win streak (including beating OG) but they lost to Team Spirit in their last match 2-1. VP are favs to win but I like Navi's lineup in general. VP do have much more experience though with GPK in their roster. Looking forward to see a good match up.

Team Spirit and Gambit has to step up their games specially if they want to face better opponents. Some of the players play better when they are facing stronger teams and can even result into upsets. Simple is actually struggling somehow but its still good to see NaVi not backing down from matches. They have to do a lot of Eco rounds which really hurts. Skipping CS games is only fine because its only the beginning of their season.

Out of the blue CIS teams are dominating the Counter Strike scene. Where did that come from? VP, Gambit and Team Spirit are playing some world class CS and at least one team CIS team is going to make it to the Grand Finals. Mad Scenes.
