[TELEGRAM] Yet Another BitcoinTalk Notification BOT (merits, mentions, topics,+)

I can't get any data from bot menu, and I tried several times and restarting telegram.
Nothing works, and maybe it is related to server crash

It's not the first time. It's an issue with the forum giving me the outdated value from time to time. I have manually fixed your count and it should show up right from now on.

I'm currently experiencing same issue. A wrong figure was updated yesterday and it kept running with it, so all values since then have been off by -1. I would appreciate it if you can check it out.

The Mention notifications are working well on my side. I don't know about the Merit notifications though, since I haven't received any yet today.

With or without @ and quotes. And you can't notify youself.

Got a merit today (half an hour ago) and was also notified.
But the number in brackets is wrong. It corresponds to the old value.
Things I report here are never critical. I just want to help you to find mistakes

We really appreciate all you are doing with this great tg bot, and it is normal to experience some issues at certain times.

I had to migrate the bot to another server temporarily to make some big changes (while keeping it on) and that has been a nightmare since I don't have any experience with it and I try to avoid leaving the bot off for even 5 minutes. But that's done already. I even got notified for this post of yours.

That was all probably worth it, though. I finished updating the whole archive with their titles and dates (ty @suchmoon), setting up the new database and coding a few new features. It should all go live maybe tomorrow (after the data is indexed in the database).

Many issues with the bot recently, but everything will go back to normal after I'm done with all of this.

1. Added Notification if you received New Messages.
2. Updated Merit Count (instead of howing the current one)

I just notice the no. 2 when I was checking the bot, I really thought it was an updated count. Don't get me wrong the bot is already great, though my suggestions are just likely to be considered as an add-ons.

You mean the forum Private Messages? That's not possible.

It already does that. But the forum gives me outdated values from time to time (maybe due to cache issues). Some users have the outdated number, so I need to manually fix them since I haven't find a solution yet. I fixed yours.

There's a bug in merit count, check both of the images. I had received 314th merit from nutildah and now received thr 315th merit but the bot still says I have received my 314th merit. So, I received 314th merit 2 times 💪

I had to clear the cache because of the big changes I made in the website. The bot had to go to your profile and, of course, got the outdated count.

I will probably add a "/setmerit X" command, so people can fix their merit themselves.

edit: Use /setMerit X to fix your merit count if it's wrong/outdated.

Hey @TryNinja. Is there any way for me to get notifications for both "Rath" and "Rath_"? I have tried using "/start" and changing my nickname to "Rath", but I noticed that I didn't get notified about a quote from this post. I assume that most people will omit the underscore in my nickname but it seems that it breaks quotes (or maybe it was a one time thing).

Edit: I have just got a notification that I mentioned myself in this post.
