[TELEGRAM] Yet Another BitcoinTalk Notification BOT (merits, mentions, topics,+)

Hey @TryNinja. Is there any way for me to get notifications for both "Rath" and "Rath_"? I have tried using "/start" and changing my nickname to "Rath", but I noticed that I didn't get notified about a quote from this post. I assume that most people will omit the underscore in my nickname but it seems that it breaks quotes (or maybe it was a one time thing).

Edit: I have just got a notification that I mentioned myself in this post.

You didn't get notified on the quote because you are using Rath on the bot, but your forum username is Rath_. There is no way the bot knows Rath and Rath_ are the same person. That's also the same reason you got notified by yourself: You didn't mention yourself. Rath_ mentioned Rath. Damn, that's confusing.

It's done. You can set a single alternative username with /alt X. (P.S: Always use your forum username as the main one)

In this new version, I actually planned to support multiple alternative usernames, but haven't done it yet. If you (or anyone else) needs it, let me know so I can do it. For now, it's only one because coding a simple command is faster than making a whole menu for the usernames (something similar to the tracked/ignored users).

And sorry mole for the delay. I said "tomorrow" but actually took a whole week due to me focusing on new website.

Cool, i really liked the old one, now i have to get used to the new one. I wanted to change mine to SpamBuster but somebody else has already registered it just a few days after I opened the SpamBusters' thread.

The baby's beard came out many months ago, there'll be two Santas at home this year.
Just a tip. Baby oil works perfectly as a replacement of a beard oil it's even better

Was about to notify you the same issue but just saw that the story's been already told.
Anyways, I'm very happy with the bot's work and almost each and every post where I actually got mentioned or merited, and even the nuked/deleted posts or threads are being notified like a gunshot. Thank you for putting too much efforts, TryNinja.

No, I'm just joking. The bot sent a notification to everyone because of a mistake I made. But looking at the bright side, at least none of the notifications failed.

I'll be writing some tests to avoid stuff like this happening again in the future.

The bot checks the post for any mention of your username. If nothing is found, it checks for any of your "alternative usernames". If you didn't have any, the value would be "null".

For some reason, instead of just not passing anything to the check (null value), it literally passed null and without any other rule, so it matched for the post everyone got notified about because it contained nullius on it. Simple yet big mistake.

I just made those changes. There was no "alternative username" feature in V2 until now.

Everybody who uses the bot experienced the same thing and it was already fixed, you can check few earlier posts from OP above
