I must say the truth. This thread is more confusing than even the former thread. As it is I do not where start, to enter and to do. The first Thread at least to some extent explained the registration steps to kick start the alert and it was easy for me to follow up the steps but in this thread or link the OP recommended me to check up is confusing me the more. In fact I am lost. No explanation for the steps to set up the aert or notification bar. Again and again, I am on my knees begging 🙏🙏🙏 for the administrators and the Moderators to just add the notification and alert bar on the main Bitcointalk forum for easy access. So that once one login, he will see the mentioned and merits notifications on the bar.

Linking Bitcointalk reply and quotes notification to another or separate app. or websites is making the whole thing combersome. If this thing is here on the Bitcointalk bar all these procedures would be a stress to be. And also creating separate notification site for Bitcointalk will cost extra money. So why can't you just it here.

Is there any reason of creating or Linking this alert notification to another place?

Inbuilt notification system for this forum has been asked multiple times but there was no result hence people like op stepped up to fill the need.

Instead of 325.

Try setting your notification bot with the number of merit in your current profile. Based on Tryninja's previous answer, it should solve your problem. But since I don't have telegram so I haven't tested this notification bot.

For the past 30 minutes, there seems to be a large outage at Cloudflare, and Bitcointalk now shows the "Checking your browser" screen before I can view a normal page.

Unfortunately, you'll have to fix it yourself with /setMerit since the downtime was too long.

It seemed like the whole internet was broken yesterday; Tor network was under DDOS attack, image-hosting sites were hit and miss, and the NinjaBot was way too quite.

Anyway, the NinjaBot is back on line as of this morning, and it seems to be working as it should.

I've been and still is an ardent user of your Bitcointalk Telegram Notification bot for as long as I discovered it here, I've never tried any other (and I don't intend to ) so I honestly do not know what features others have that yours/this doesn't.

But in a discussion about being able to monitor some board sections of this forum for notification of new topics, I discovered this is not possible with the Bot,.

I saw we can track Topics individually


And we can also track topics, comments by phrase


But there is no way to track boards for new topics, take for example, someone trying to keep tabs on the Services section of the forum so as to get notification when a new signature campaign is announced or listed on that board.
I actually know its not possible to track boards because i tried but the Bot returned an "invalid URL" message.


I don't know if I missed something though, but incase I didn't,
Then what do you think sir ?
Cus I personal think this would be a nice feature to add to the Bot.

Just use the watchlist feature of the forum for that - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=watchlist

Then add the ID number of the local board you want - IMO, this feature is not needed for the bot, it would cause soooo many notifications IMO, and I don't think TryNinja necessarily wants that, but IDK...

Example:
