Right after this post, I received about 10 notifications, all of which were in the previous few hours. I don't know if you did anything or not, but the bot seems to be functional now.
I wouldn't say it was because of Telegram, because other similar things worked for me.

I confirm the notification worked flawlessly on my side.
Curious about what might have caused a delay on a specific channel over Telegram, but I suspect the issue is on that side of the service.
We will never know, probably, without any other case in the future.

Someone quoted "Laura Mitchell" and thus I got pinged for this post. Not sure if anything can be done about this though, since you do want loose matching (in case I get mentioned in a random conversation). Already used to that and the reason I have any sports stuff muted.

Maybe it could be an option to parse quote authors more strictly, if a user requested that? 🤔

Ok, so I made a few changes...

Someone quoting Laura Mitchell won't send you a notification anymore, because it now checks for your exact username on the quoteheader ("Quote from: Mitchell"). Just having Mitchell there ("Quote from: Laura Mitchell") is not enough anymore.

For the body of the quote or the post itself, you can still get notified for Laura Mitchell, because it only cares about the "Mitchell" word.

You can make it more strict where you only get notified for quotes ("Quote from: Mitchell") and @Mitchell: /menu -> Notifications -> Only Direct Mentions

In this case, you would lose the notifications where people just write Mitchell, so way less false positives but probably a few missed mentions as well.

That is exactly what I wanted. I do want the loose matching, any mentions that come from that is fine, but not from quotes that aren't actually posts made by me.

Have you considered implementing a service comparison system?

For example, the visitor would choose two or three exchange services and be able to make a side-by-side comparison of rates, currency types, and things like that.

This could be useful for analyzing and choosing the service to use.

Some participants and I confirmed that the mentioned users did not receive notifications from that tag post. I also requoted the post to try to notify them, but again some users in our telegram group chat confirmed that they still did not receive any notifications from buwaytress's post or from my requoted post..

I also love these AI notifications. Too bad today I got just one while usually I get maybe 4 or 5 each day. Last year on April 1st we also got such notifcations and I'll just reapeat what was said back then - I would love if keep this thing as option after this day.

I tried counting the exact text and also the part shown by the AI bot, it did not meet up to whatever number they showed and it does not show up on all quotes or mentions.

You can track some boards to get notifications when people post there. Will help give you more notifications before the day runs out and you may enjoy following your favorite boards.

Is it possible to add more than 10 users to my Ignored Users list?
I keep adding users but I only see there are 10 in the Menu.

It's just something the AI added on their own (because I asked it to keep it under < 200 characters).
