Haha there's literally nothing to climb in those 3 games and PSG shouldn't bother showing up at Stadium Bridge  I didn't expect much from our PSG fixture but danm it! Manchester city! I expected a lot from y'all.. not even a goal? Against this horrible Madrid side? No no.

I expected that it will be high scoring game, but not that Chelsea will concede 5 goals. And it's a bit too much when in the middle of 2nd half results still was 2:2. Citeh is huge disappointment, I tuned in game with big expectations and had to switch to PSG - Chelsea after 3rd Real goal.
Strange to see so many big results - 5 of 8 games ended with 3 or bigger difference, I barely can remember such things.
Bodo/Glimt continue amazing things. Yeah, maybe it's not that huge upset that they won at home, but nobody didn't expected 3:0. Though, from all big results, I think that Sporting is only team that have some chance to make comeback.

We heard million of times about Real Madrid is something else in the Champions League and we can all agree that is true but damn every single time they do again some magic move in this competition we are again impressed.

How the fuck and from where they pulled this win against Manchester City, without Mbappe and with a interim coach, Valverde scoring 3 goals and two of them finishing better than any top scorer? Only in Real Madrid world this kind of things happens.

Real Madrid are the kings of the UCL, so there's no denying it... they've pulled off some miracles and incredible comebacks in this tournament.

Real Madrid can do anything... don't be surprised because this often happens in important matches, especially in the Champions League, so it's not strange for me that Madrid does something out of the ordinary because any player can be counted on.

Should only the first leg be used to determine the weakness of EPL teams? I think for all of them to have qualified to the round of sixteen is something to show that they are great teams, and this first leg is not enough.

Beside that only Newcastle United played at home, almost all the remaining premier league teams played away from home, so we have to wait for the second leg before we can decide on who is weak and who is a strong team, but I believe that Arsenal, and probably Liverpool are going to cross to the quarterfinal, for Chelsea and Manchester City, I can’t say for how because they conceded a lot of goals in the first leg.

The game was a well talked about one prior to the kick off and was definitely an anticipated watch. The goals was expected and with every score and response from Chelsea, you just feel the game was coming together just fine until PSG got their 4th goal. All in the space of no time. That was the shocker and it then hit me on how Chelsea wasn’t doing much to take the lead at some point in the match. To make matters worst, Chelsea conceded a 5th goal, in such a game, that wasn’t acceptable! They aren’t coming out of this, not happening, PSG would be waiting.

It is was very surprising that none of the English teams won their matches and i understand fully well that players needed to rest very well to be able regain stamina as much they can, and if Chelsea could be able to win their next match with Paris Saint-Germain in the Stamford Bridge, i believe that Chelsea can be able to win more than 5:2 Paris Saint-Germain beat the in there last meeting in the champions League, it is certain that this days prediction of games can change in the middle of the game, so let us wait to watch the next match in Stamford Bridge and see what Chelsea can do.

I don't know if the schedule really is the problem. In the last seven years, most of the Champions League titles were won by Premier League teams (3x). Then La Liga (2x) and then Germany and France (each 1x).

Two of those finals were purely English (Liverpool Tottenham 2019 and Chelsea Man City 2021).

And the Premier League is waaaaay ahead in the UEFA coefficient ranking. Since the Premier League is the league with most so called English weeks, it's kind of contradictory that they yet lead the coefficient ranking by so much.

And Manchester City has broken all Premier League records a few years ago despite having that packed schedule. Nothing changed this year and their league performance is bad as well. The game against Real Madrid was just really really bad and I don't think it was because they were tired.

The fact that PSG will dominate that game was obvious beforehand. Chelsea should have not allowed those two late goals and they would still be fine.

Tottenham was a total disaster and the goalkeeper wasn't tired because as far as I know he actually got his first chance to play in the Champions League and god, how hard did he fail? That was insane.

And Liverpool? Well, underestimating Galatasaray at home is never smart. I am not sure but I think I picked Galatasaray to win in our pool? Don't know for sure, but I had a feeling that this season's Liverpool could definitely lose there.

I think this is a disgrace for PSG. They initially play in a farm league and can adjust their preparation and peak shape only for the Champions League, since they will win the title in any case, but at the same time they are not ashamed to ask the league to help them with the schedule. This is nonsense and disrespectful to the fans who are forced to look at the crooked tournament table. Besides, why can't Lens take advantage of PSG fighting on two fronts? True, and I wouldn't say that it has no impact at all. Still I think these professionals have everything at their disposal to get the best recovery possible. I sometimes think about ice hockey and basketball players and how they never complain. Look how intense ice hockey is. In the NHL alone they have 82 games per season!!! This does not include cups and international games. I thought about that and came to the conclusion that if they can recover, football players should be able to recover within 3-4 days, too.

The Ligue 1 teams' decision is awesome and they know that they need PSG to collect those points for the UEFA ranking. Good point for sure and with respect to workload, the Premier League teams certainly have the most challenging schedule.

Not dismissing Bodoe but their league also agreed to postpone their early games (they just started this month). For me, it is one big reason theyre doing so well with their style of play that needs all the outfield players to press like mfs.

They still deserve everything they have now, I like them a bunch, but it wasn't their arctic pitch as much as their fresh legs that have really, really pummeled teams down in Champions League.
