There are some altcoins that still manage to increase in price even when the market is red, this is a very small of altcoins though, but generally speaking, many alts have not really perform the way btc have this past weeks, i think the demand for alts is not as strong for now mainly because most alts don't have real life usage that will increase the demand and also price.

I don't really understand, are you referring to an altcoin named addon or what? Nevertheless stating my opinion based on the title, I think altcoin season is still far because with this pandemic people need or are going for Bitcoin since it offers a better chance of success and value. However, holding other coins like ETH will also set the investor or holder at an advantage of experiencing more assured returns.

If you mean literally "ALTCOIN to the MOON" as it was in 2017 and the beginning of January 2018, then I personally think that it will not be so soon. Such times are repeated, but you do not know when it will be again.

These altcoins who have risen significantly already pumped by the whale. The fact that after the price already pumped and a week after that the price of those tokens were getting dumped so hard and this is how the manipulation works right now. Flagship? maybe you mean the forefront of blockchain technology. I am also expecting altcoins to pump these coming months. Although not all and I think even may even die down along the way. I am hopeful ethereum will lead them especially the upcoming proof-of-stake algo expected to be implemented in their platform.

Very difficult at which position trader will by or when sell those coins.it is very necessary to invest in top 100 coins according to CMC because these coin has been in market from long time and listed on many markets. altcoin price movements are greatly influenced by bitcoin price movements, if the price of bitcoin still hasn't gone up then altcoin prices will also be difficult going to the moon, although altcoin prices have gone up it's only a temporary prediction,

but about the New flagship On blockchain technology seems much awaited because this will surely increase the demand
 and support for altcoin(and of course Bitcoin as well.

And Mooning of altcoin will always rely about the future of Bitcoin so what matter it takes still Bitcoin must Go first before
 alts make their way to the moon and we already knew about this from the start.

You might be right with you statement that altcoins are going to the moon. However, be rest assure it will be bitcoin that will do the move first before altcoins follow. I see more and more people adopting cryptcurrency so there a bright future.

I don't trust all altcoins, majority of the altcoins are just pump and dump coins and they have nothing to offer to investors and the community, no platform attached to this coins, the only way these altcoins can make an impact to the community is if  they are trying to offer something new to the advancement of this technology.

2017 was the golden years of cryptocurrency and I don't we will be seeing another great run like in coming years maybe 5-10 years from now when the world is fully commited in adopting blockchain technology most especially in big countries like US.

In the current situation, this statement looks at least funny. There will be no mythical altcoin to the moon until this happens with BTC because the vast majority of the market is tied to it. BTC will skyrocket- the rest of the market will follow it. Independent from BTC this can only happen under the following conditions
1) with ETH (as almost the second main strong coin)
2) there will be a new project that will give everything that BTC has but will be much better and at the same time (paradox) will not oppose itself to BTC because the market does not like upstarts
But I don’t believe that second option is possible

The altcoin will have the time to the moon as what we saw before. But this time, we need to have more patience because it seems, we need to wait for more because there is no sign for the altcoin to go up to the higher price. But some of the altcoins are trying to increase although it is not much if the price can rise to the high price in the next month, I think we will going to see some surprise from the altcoin. And who knows, that will be the time for the altcoin to the moon.

Most of the altcoins were already overpriced by the price manipulators so don't ever think that all the altcoins will skyrocket sooner.Especially after this halving there is high chance for most of the shitcoins will leads to zero which happened in the past years as well.
