Hopefully if bull run will happen before this year ends, altcoins have bigger chances that they will go to the moon again. So the current price of BTC does not make minning profit, because btc the price must go up. Yes, only the coins and tokens which are based on a real world utility may find the growth and all others may get delisted very soon. I hope the wait of all of us will find an end very soon. The bitcoin halving may do all the needful. Moreover, this must be the time to buy more to hold for next 2 years.

I think people who are saying that altcoins follow the price movement of Bitcoin are wrong. There are altcoins that follow the price movement of Bitcoin, but it's not all of them that correlate. The level at which they correlate with BTC varies, some are around 90%, and there are others that are way less than 50%. So, it's not really all of them that are the same.

There are times that Bitcoin will be falling and some of them will be going up, so they are not really the same. Altcoins that have a close price correlation with Bitcoin are mainly the top altcoins like Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash (BCH), XRP, Litecoin and the rest of them.

Afaik there's no mooning for both btc and altcoins this year, maybe by the following years to come but not now.

it does take time. even I feel that the increase is not even we realize. so far the price of altcoin has not even experienced a significant increase. I honestly have been waiting for that moment since 2019. However, I didn't realize whether the increase had occurred or not. but, as far as I know, the altcoin is currently recovering.

January 2018:

ETH was priced at $ 1300 and was priced at 0.098 BTC

May 2020

ETH is priced at $ 207 and was priced at 0.0225 BTC

Many altocoins are in the same situation as ETH.

Now look at the bitcoin case:

December 2017 was priced at $ 19,000 and today is priced at $ 9200

when we put it that way we can easily see how the future could be in terms of recovering losses and in relation to what is really a good investment with little level of risk

If you also see that the price of ETH in relation to Bitcoin has not exceeded 0.04 BTC since 2018. Which means that for those who bought ETH at the price of 0.045 BTC, they should consider selling because the chance of ETH reaching more than 0.045 BTC is far from happening

I really think it will take a lot of time for altcoins to go to the moon because people are starting to sell their holdings due to the pandemic. Unlike bitcoin, even there is a pandemic, it still have a chance to improved it's price because of halving.

BTC is expected to rise. So the reason why altcoins MAY also rise up. There are few altcoins going up already but aren't recognized by many of us since its not really that popular. One that I saw recently is the Jarvis project because there had been good updates from the team. Lisk had already started the pumped too. Just few cents of climb though but I guess its substantial enough to see, some traders are already buying them.

You waited too long to miscalculate your days, because as I recall from mid 2017 to the end of 2017 all Altcoins experienced stable and good increases, and then in 2018 only all Altcoins experienced price declines and never went back up like in in 2017, now you try to count starting from 2018 until now, have you reached the three years in waiting for that, or maybe you haven't woken up at the time of 2017.

What kind of a new flagship that you have talked it? altcoin is not yet going to the moon and bitcoin is getting the correction right now which can lead into the worst dump to make the price of bitcoin to go back again below 9k level.
You should see the trend dude because not all of the bullish trend can make altcoin to the moon.

   And I think we can say that some teams covered all sides. It's not a secrete that just some coins
will hit their moon, while may others will drop. Constant work and developing is necessary for every
project to become known to people, if they are not able to develop the idea they can't hope for anything
in crypto-market.

Blockchain tech is indeed innovative but doesnt mean that every project out there is really worth to invest on.Diversification is always been suggested but you should know the risk accompanied with it and you should always look for the best coins out there and go for the top ranks rather than going to low rank one but you should always thing that it wont give out guarantees that it can make you rich or make you profits in the future but at least you do already have some view that theyre having more potential compared to others.Add-ons is good as always but always take it as a pinch of salt.

Well, the fact that altcoins depend largely on Bitcoin for its movement, it's going to take something special to have a full altcoin moon season. For now, most of the bullish runs and trends are certainly traps by the whales and looking for those who will likely fall for the trick. You have to be really good at trading to be able to profit from the present market conditions.
