I guess that's a common thing. before waiting for the high altcoin pump price, then we need to pay attention to the price of bitcoin. because bitcoin price movements sometimes make altcoin prices higher. this has happened a long time ago. maybe there are some altcoin pumps automatically because of development, but in reality, to see the high altcoin pump price, we need to wait for the bitcoin pump price.

The Crypto market is more controlled by fear and greed from the people who move in it
Therefore, there will always be coins that are "mis-priced".
That is why if we want to invest in a coin we must have knowledge about how to assess the fair price (intrinsic value) of a coin.
So that we are not trapped to buy a coin that is higher than its value (overvalued)

Sure, they are the future. But still strongly backed by Bitcoin. Investors need to increase their confidence on altcoins. Non developed and scam projects are a hurdle to the entire altcoin future.

That's the problem with altcoins there are too altcoin projects that are not developing, making any progress or even being dumped by the team due to lack of finances. If only there are strong interest ad support from any of altcoin projects it would be great to how healthy the crypto market could be.

Current trend? For how long? By mentioning by "current", it is implicitly denoting it is kind of not persisting one, right?
I'm not ready to believe into anything such "current trend" because I just want a longer duration based things which can be low in ROI but must have definite future. In recent time, I have seen coinmarketcap is adding new filter for "defi" still I am not ready to believe anything fancy but lagging in innovations.

Altcoins may hit moon but not each and every altcoin; there are possibility for less than 1% of altcoins in the markets to get chances to perform well in coming months and most others will get delisted from exchanges. I'm not discouraging people here but I'm just talking about the fact what I have observed in last 4 years. Altcoins are 10x more riskier than bitcoin investments so do not invest all your money into altcoins.

those who can go to the moon are those who are active with updates to strengthen the market and increase their demand. altcoin which is only waiting for a pump from bitcoin will not be able to get to the moon. Select altcoin which is active in the planned update. this year many will probably fail. but that does not rule out the possibility because the crypto market still has a strong appeal.

Based on what you say this? indeed, as seen by many Altcoins who follow the trends of bitcoin, but there are also Altcoins that have increased prices without depending on the trend of bitcoin, this depends on the number of interested buyers who are increasing on an Altcoin, thus the volume on the market will also increase along with the price of the unit too.

There are a lot of altcoins, which are increasing day by day. It is something above 5000. As you said most of them are useless and wasting-time. As you said every altcoin price depends on BTC price. When BTC starts growing up, altcoins follow the movement of BTC. For that reason, people make money from occasional pumps and dumps. But it seems it will take to earn money from this method, that is why BTC is still around 9k.

What you have been saying is not true and some altcoins can still able to get a huge pump even without the help that must have come from the bitcoin. I do agree with if it's not all of top coins are getting their price from the use case but it's coming from the speculation.

Not all Altcoins depend on Bitcoin, there are some Altcoins that don't depend on Bitcoin, although most of Altcoins appear to depend on bitcoin trends, so their value will only go up when Bitcoin experiences a large pump.
