I guess we all knew that Las Vegas casinos were planning to open soon, but how many of you’ll actually thought that they would be opening it so soon? because I’m shocked that they have opened it as the number of corona cases are rising only.

Furthermore flights to Las Vegas are already full, and people are coming in large numbers to play out there, hence I’m sincerely praying that no one gets infected while playing out there.

Though they have set up various safety measures, but I’m not sure what their protocol will be if it’s found that an infected person played out there, will they be forced to shut down their casinos, or will it be business as usual for them?.

Well in our country the pandemic is still spreading yet our Government Gaming corporation is planning to open casinos also because of the demand and also the income government may get because we are short in terms of financial.

So Las Vegas can operate again because of High tech equipment that can surely use to prevent the spreading of covid..

There's a possibility that the majority of casinos around the world will follow opening their casinos, of course, they need permits coming from the government where they are located, they will give Las Vegas as one of their examples why they should be allowed to open, gamblers are eager to play and government needs revenue or taxes are another reasons why it should be open.

Everyone knows that Las Vegas is a party City and everyone around the globe goes there for the sole purpose of having fun and partying so casinos and boose are the biggest source of taxes for the government and they will do everything in their control to restart this economy. Casinos will be the number one priority on their list of things to reopen.
But the pandemic isn't still over as there are still tens of thousands new cases coming in USA itself on daily basis, so still it is a major risk to not follow social distancing.

Protests a Riots have greatly impacted the Corona pandemic now. We just have to wait a couple more days to see the cases rising .

Protests are important but unfortunately people are not maintaining a certified distance between themselves when they are on the streets .

We are now still waiting for a second wave of the Corona Virus now .I do think they shouldn't have opened the casinos. If they did open it up , at least stop serving alcohol for a while .

Rules are meant to be followed, you don't question the rules especially if its a law made by the government, we either obey it or we will expect that we will be arrested, the fact that the casino has open up their business, they are task with big responsibility to implement the rules all the time, or they will be close again, imagine how much they will lose again if they will not obey, so it's a very simple logic, they will follow and make their clients follow.

I understand, but they got the approval by the government to open the business, so I don't think the government are not thinking of this possibilities.
I would like to assume that they are smarter than us as they hold the real information so they know how to manage this.

I think this country was not heavily affected by the worldwide pandemic, so yes, I am not aware about this country.
They have different initiative as they are a different country, the reason why the spread of virus is large in the US is because they are not so strict or they underestimate the virus, let them fight their own battle, for sure they will be able to beat the covid in the long run.

I don't hear about that, but that will be a good sample for one country where still check people who are going to enter their country because they need to make sure that there is no new case of Covid-19. But many countries still fight against the virus, and yes, Las Vegas is still fighting too, so the government needs to have checked and make sure that the casino is safe for the people.

It is a difficult job for the government because they don't miss something that can cause bad things for their city. The strict protocols will be the only way to prevent the virus spreads to the other people so they can allow the casino to reopen.

It's really difficult, but we if are talking of strict protocol, I think US are not good with that and it we have evidence proving that since they have the biggest number of cases almost 2 million people. That's why people are protesting because of that big numbers and yet they allow a big casino to re-open, while on the cases of  New Zealand, they have a very few cases with over a thousand only per record, and they have no new cases lately, so they decided to lift almost all the restrictions.

Now just keeping it lockdown makes no sense, I think the decision to open the casino in Las Vegas is absolutely right. I agree with you on this, I really believe that the lockdown is not the right solution since the economy will also suffer.

The economy needs to go back in shape so that countries can help with financial assistance to support their health workers and mass creation of the Covid-19 vaccine. Even how rich the USA is, they need funds to support its large economy.
