Our government is still trying to discover the vaccine, and I think they still work hard with the medical and scientist to find the right formulas. The economy is trying to recover, and people are back to work, while the other people are trying to search for new jobs available in their area. We need to survive at this moment because we don't know when the pandemic will end.

I think people are trying to adapt to the new normal in their place while needing to be careful if they want to go out of their homes. As long as we can take care of ourselves, we don't have to worry or have bad thinking about the situations.

Countries are already ordering huge amounts of vaccines all around the world. But it's still not there yet, the long term trials for a corona vaccine is still ongoing. With past pandemics we saw that many of the pre ordered vaccines where not used in the end. I think we all just need to be more patient. It might be that the vaccine will be around during christmas, but it could still take another half year longer. I believe that with social distancing and wearing a mask in public we could contain the virus better in the future. Same goes for the casinos, just be reasonable and follow the rules. Better to have casinos open with a lot of rules than have no casinos open.

My first replies here are different knowing that the government will not going to risk the safety of the community when gambling. Now my perception has just change after seeing the the sports establishment in america resume specifically the NBA. Online gambling and physical casinos cater to different sets of people. Those who are used to physical casinos may not find online gambling exciting enough. The other problems that I see too is that:
1. There are some people who are asymptomatic. You don't know if the person you talked yesterday has the virus or not because he/she didn't show any symptoms of the virus.
2. The symptoms of the virus usually takes time before it will go out (most likely 2-3 days) so maybe there is a person whom you talked too which is the carrier already but you didn't notice it because there are no signs/symptoms of it.

For me, gambling online is the best way to be safe in terms of gambling. If you don't want to gamble online or you don't know how to get access into it then it would be better if you will just not gamble at all instead. It would be better for now if you have cash in hand too than risking it in gambling. There is a chance that your money will get lost there.

I play in traditional casinos from time to time. I do this in order to get good emotions from the game. I have tried many times to play in an online casino. The difference in emotions is huge.

He also said that countries should definitely follow "general guidelines, regulations, and rules on how to deal with the safe development of vaccines" to confirm that the vaccine is actually working and has no dangerous side effects

With the new normal like today, the business owner needs to run their business as before, but with term and conditions, and the business owner must follow the protocols from the government. That is not just for one or two business owner, but it's happening in many business owners because they need to make money, and maybe they will ask their employee to back to work. Clubs and bars are probably the worst instances of failed distancing but I wouldn't be surprised if the open casinos are failing to ensure distance is kept at all points and with regular surface cleansing.    Likely whats happening is some spread is occurring and the fallout from that, poor health and possibly death is on the participants to handle sometime after they have visited.    Unfortunately the easiest thing is to ignore the risks and the 'invisible' possibility and consequences of failing to constantly reduce the spread on surfaces and in the air.   If I had read about air extraction being stepped up to somehow try and lift any particles out of circulation in crowds or any special measures possible that would be reassuring but I dont think thats been done because it would involve costs.   The use of clear visors is good, I seen a fair bit of that and its a simple measure perhaps not so unpopular as masks which obscure and obstruct the face more.   I doubt its being done enough however, presently its laissez faire

It is a common approach to believe that the "new normal" will also allow the economy to come back at its previous size. But that's based on the assumption that not much of the population would be affected after the main outbreak long term. First of all we aren't returning to any normal before widespread vaccination.

But also, if deaths weren't kept in check, and if long term health problems weren't able to be treated due to the health system being overloaded, then the economy is going to shrink even in the long term after vaccination. Better save lives in the long term if we ever want to see a good ending to the pandemic era, even for gambling. Especially given that many regulars at bricks and mortars casinos are high risk groups.

If everything goes back to normal again and we can all go back to work to make money, on the one hand it is good news. But on the other hand
can be another nightmare, as you are afraid. Because it is very difficult to separate infected with unaffected people. There is definitely a new
spread of COVID-19, and this has already happened in several countries such as China and South Korea. But we must dare to face it, rather than
many people starve to death because they can't buy food.

If the infection is not detectable then why should we care, its not a deadly disease people rarely died due to corona infection most of them were died for other health issues but media wants all of us to be afraid of covid 19 so they keep propogating that we should be careful, stay inside the home, blah...

Since this pandemic spreads through air, the only solution to slow down its spread is to impose a complete lockdown. But it was imposed earlier and if it is imposed again, then the economy may take a hit. What needed now was a gradual re-opening, where only the essential services are allowed. But in the United States and some of the other nations, they are trying to go back to the pre-COVID days all of a sudden and this has resulted in the sudden spike in the number of new infections.

If the new normal can cause another new case of the infected people, your government needs to have a strict rule for their people to prevent infection people or new cases. The new norm can cause another second wave attack of the virus if people don't follow and obey the government's rule. People themselves seem and tend to don't care about the rule, the simple examples is people don't wear a mask when they go out to the public area. That is not just happening in your country, but it's happening in many countries.

But I heard that the scientist found the vaccine, but they still need to test in the last phase before it can mass-produced and distribute to the infected people. I hope that is right, so we can reduce our worry to see the new case of Covid-19, and we can free from the virus because we have the vaccine to cure the virus.
