Benefits of a destroying function like Ripple.  It creates a devaluation of the coin which has many many benefits in my opinion.

Mining will become more profitable, people will less likely dump, you create a market that is build and created for adding value that is highly efficient.
There are more people willing to invest. Coin will be scarcer only from that perspective it will rise. It is divideable in infinity so that it is no problem. It makes bubbles within the system impossible, only outside. So therefore more stability!!!

Theoritically there can become a situation where there is a reversed interest: 0,99999 grs is more worth in a year than 1 grs now because 0,9999 is a larger chunck of the total available GRS than 1GRS is now, so you get all the benefits of reversed/negative interest rates,  that makes developments and adding value to the network even more interesting and will give a boost who are willing to trade GRS.

I have another great idea about this and it is complimentary to this idea, to stimulate even more but I cannot reveal it. I have to talk with the developers about this topic, but it would so turn things upside down. GRS IS CHANGING HISTORY!

It's a good coin ,but price low.Why?

Look at the JSwallet on the site of groestlcoin how smooth that is, so many upcoming things, because people also read fifty shades of grey they have no taste for quality. I cannot say much about it. But there are things coming: WOW! Inside the community we make jokes: what will the price be at the end of the year 2000-5000 sathoshi while some say at least 10k-20k satoshi, this thing will rise just be patient:)

People rather have hyped crap than coins in its purest form. 100% pure no nonsense just quality. We already know this but maybe others will realize it later: WE ARE THE BEST COIN THAT IS OUT THERE. WE ARE SITTING ON SOMETHING SO BEAUTIFUL JUST WOW!

but i hold some GRS too and so why not help them by offer merge mining

DMD is unlike GRS not linked to a algo

if our future plans include merge mining and sad but true no groestl algo coin around that fit
then we easy change algo towards whatever we like

we did that before we can do it again

that is flexibility that is our advantage

also i request clear that u stop spread crap like me join GRS team

the sentence he will eventually be on team GRS is because we believe GRS will be so big that everybody will use it.
I don't want to go into detail, but I think you know as well as I do, why you need us and we don't need you.
That said, we respect your coin, respect your offer and when we feel that we can both win we will do it. But imo,
the coming 12-18 months, will be so exciting that working together in a merged pool with DMD is far from in our advantage.
But, like I said if we could both benefit at some point, sure why not?! But it is not the case and I think you know that.

So we respect your offer, your coin LOOKS good, we think it is not in our advantage to work in a merged pool.

You seem frustrated and that is not necessary if you come with a real good offer then we will think about it, but we
