Not familiar with Superbru and I wanted to know, if there is a restriction (possible and/or planned) on how often you can pick certain scores for a round ? In some private pools I joined in the past, you would always have people picking 2-1/1-1/1-0 for all games, so the most common results in football. This is kind of lame I think and always turned me off.

There are no restrictions in Superbru you can pick the results you want as many times as you want. I have actually played this year free Serie A pool in a way that I entered 1:1 for all the games I wasn't sure. There will be no restrictions and I don't see a reason for them, I have taken part in this years paid Premier League and Champions League pools and haven't noticed and such problems. I can't guarantee that someone will not take that approach but I am quite sure most of us will do it by hart or research. These pools were a lot of fun and that is the reason why I am doing this. Feel free to check them, there are links in the OP as well.

Reason why I started to follow Gorica is simple. This team is managed by manager from my country. Also, our best young player is playing for Gorica, unfortunately he got painful injury and haven't played much yet. In general, ouf football level is so shitty and we rarely can see our managers working in foreign teams. So, it's interesting to follow his work in Gorica. After pandemy they played solid, but were too far away from spots in Europa league qualifiers. But I think next season it's possible to achieve.

Yeah, Gorica is quite consolidated team compared to some other team in Croatian 1. league. They are a tough nut to crack no matter where you play. I like that they are developing club step by step, they are buying and selling players with strategy in mind and not like most other Croatian clubs.

C'mon you guys spread the word so that we have a nice base of participants well before new season starts. There will not be much of summer break this season so we will be back in action quite soon, the date has been put as September 1st for beginning of Serie A new season.

South part of Itally will be better represented this season since Benevento has already secured a promotion. They are located near Napoli and I am not familiar if that is some big derby but knowing temperament of people on south of Italia I guess it should be

We have more than a month, it's enough time to grab some more participants, we are now at 7+1, and it's not that bad result a week after the topic started

I think fixing the entry at 0.002 to 0.003 BTC would be good, giving BTC price. Heck if we ATH in September, that's going to be a $40 fee haha.

Also, regardless of whether I participate or not, I am also stating my intent to sponsor additional funds for my very small crypto business that I work on with a few others. It's not the best of times for everyone, even before the pandemic, but it's a small bunch of people doing their best to support the industry and a few freelancers all over the world, so I always do my best;)

If I see more than 10 confirmed players, I could be motivated to cough up a bit more but hey, a very small fee for a huge pot, and it's just a one-off payment for the entire season, sounds good right?

Oh cool, that makes you three from Croatia that I know now, and in real life all I ever met was the one (still remember her name too haha). Yeah, I get that players you know makes you know the league, and I admitted earlier the reason I've been watching Serie A more is simply because of the more familiar faces I see.

Haha, oh, my friend, the world is far too small for me to reveal such names, but let us say the last name is M*rin I have no idea if it is even a Croatian name but was one of the first blondes I met in real life haha. Ah the memories of when we were all young;)

I haven't had the chance to travel very much for leisure -- work is very very different and I generally didn't get to see the "nice" spots but yes, I very much hope to find the time in the next few years when I am still "young" to see that part of the world. Maybe visit all the forum people or something haha.

For us older people, and who come from... not-so-open borders, the context of being able to have met someone from so far away 20 years ago, in a day when internet was barely in everybody's homes and we still used landlines and letters to communicate, one must imagine how extra special it was!

Now my kids get to meet people from all over the world so easily, eat different foods and see different cultures all within reach. I don't see the wonder in their eyes=p

But back on topic, am asking around for people to join the pool. Not sure why there isn't more interest tbh!

I was thinking of that but decided against it. It would be a perfect solution if we had all the same players in both pools but that is not the case, even though we are close to it. We will also get additional sponsor money if we get to 15 players. We could hit that number for one pool and not the other and there could be extra questions and confusion down the road. There will be a dedicated BTC address for each of them. It will make distribution of rewards much more transparent.

You can also just pay for both pools in same transaction, if you use electrum for instance you just write out addresses like this.
