Very tight round, such a low scoring for all of us, the national break affected a lot of teams not only in Serie A, but overall.Plus 2 weeks break didn't help us either with keeping track of what happened with players that played during the break for national teams.

It was crazy week indeed, and It's not just in the Italian League but in the EPL and La Liga pool, as poorly as I performed in the Italian Pool, what if I told I did better here than in the other two pools

Yeah I can see that results are chaotic in almost ll leagues, like the most normal league so far is German league from my point of view.

Who could have foresaw Atalanta losing to Sampdoria ??! I had 3 - 1 for Atalanta in the pool and the result was the exact opposite, I also checked the pool and realised that no one even went for a draw, let alone Sampdoria. I'm not looking forward to another week like the previous one

Well we all went the same way so far, so not a big damage for you in terms of points. We at least got Inter score to a T so 3 points in the bag already, but I have a feeling we will again have a low scoring round with more surprising results coming.

@Harko shit yeah, well Napoli losing in Europe after hammering Atlanta. Atalanta losing like this after THEIR Europe hammering. I think this is all reminiscent of Liverpool circa 2014 and 2017 -- firing on all cylinders, attacking and mainly winning, but unable to find consistency. Hope this isn't going to be that season but would love to see this kind of firepower reward attacking teams with semi and final appearances in Europe!

Yeah, Inter made up for the initial lost points, and yet another goal from Lazio now to make it 2 - 0 against Bologna would make the perfect sense for me.

It's going to be better week compared last week, the fixture for tomorrow are somewhat easy, so there shouldn't too many upsets, at least both Juventus and Napoli would win, right ?

Yeah, it's been a bit of a feeling here and there too for me, I usually like my upsets but with the form of every giant so skewed now, it's very hard to find odds above 15/1 now. Last two seasons you get 20/1 even 30/1 on almost every Bayern, Real and City game. Now you have Liverpool Villa 14/1 and WEST HAM vs City barely 6/1. It's shit value.

That said, have to admit my Serie A predictions are purely based on form for more than half the league cause I don't know it very well.

That probably explains why you're not doing too well in the pool, Upsets would happen but one or two upset will always not make up for the week.

It's been a better day for me, Napoli gave me a scare not just in the pool, but with my betslip, all left is Fiorentina Over 2.5 and Juventus ML

Yup! I'm second last in both Serie A and La Liga pools -- but I'm fairly mid range every season in Premier League. My betting style is totally not fit for season-long fantasy-type games, although I have occassional success in outlier events (like winning Multi Master once in Sportsbet, and getting 5/7 and 6/7 in MajSev a couple of times, and then that crazy goal prediction contest last season betting below the average!)

Guess we both were sweating on Juventus, and then of course they bottle it.

yeah, Juventus did not win this week, after having nice time in Kyiv, it was not that unexpected, or to put it in another context, upset could be looked into this one, although i did not expect it
i am not doing well in this pool as well (sitting on the bottom), but it is actually missing results what bothers me in this pool and stick on the bottom, it is most important for one to catch right scores, guessing winners will not brought well in this point system - i have 10 results predicted well, which puts me in the middle, but only one score and that is why i am on the bottom, without much chances to be better at the moment

edit: hahay has 15 results predicted well (which is good, bearing in mind that we have 45 matches, but sits in the middle, far away from the top

In the 80s and 90s, Italy was the leading country with by far the best teams in the world. They still have good teams, but countries like Spain, Germany and England have come closer.
I think it could be very exciting for the title this year. Juventus clear favorite, though.

After being top3 in the previous 4 rounds, i ended up dead last this week netting a measly 3.5 points, the decent lead that i had has almost completely evaporated, it's a tight race again.

Can't wait for next round to start so i could bounce back, not a fan of the wooden spoon being displayed next to my name.

Nah they had it under control for the most part, missed on a few decent chances in the second half to make it a more Atalanta-like result. Gasperini is still heavily rotating players in and out of the starting lineup, not sure how is this going to turn...but i don't like it, they might drop points here and there whilst the CL group stage is on.

Lukaku to score and Inter to win and score 2+goals is my simple pick of the day.

Wasn't Lukaku announced to be missing this game on Friday, at least Inter didn't win...

Bologna 3:2 Cagliari

Fucking finally, a win after three straight losses! Bologna are a decent team, underrated by most with excellent attacking players but they do so many and so often silly mistakes on defense, it's not even funny. I think they cost me at least 7+ pts so far...

Took this right after Simeone's goal (home win was @4.90...not sure why i didn't pick that one instead)

Juve and Lazio wins were the only points I managed so far, still rooted close to bottom of table. I'm going to go for crazy picks for a while maybe I mean 4-3 Lazio why didn't I think of that haha.

Napoli screwed me for about 0.1BTC today but I got back my stake as free bet, so I can lose it tomorrow. I had both to score on Napoli game and then I saw Sassuolo line up and almost cashed out my ticket thinking Napoli should win this easy. Never thought there could 0 goals next to Napoli name.
Sassuolo was without all their best attacking players, so this count as big hit for Napoli ambitions this season.

Ah well, switching to Premier league for the evening ticket, looking good so far.

Bunch of close matches to be honest, when I was picking i knew that some matches had potential to go either way. Should've been more conservative, my result is getting worse and worse lol, while others are picking up. Still early, but looks like this pool will be very tight till the end.

Thanks, i wish my other unpopular pick - Torino could have held onto the lead a few more minutes as i was the only one to back them win, but yeah two goals in injury time for Lazio instead, what a bummer, i really needed that 1.5pts :/

btw, tyKiwanuka is having an almost perfect round after getting most matches right, adding three correct predictions too, only missing on Inter and Napoli which is quite understanble, these two are somewhat unexpected results to say the least. So yeah, that's a monster jump in the standings (+7) up to second place. The round is not over yet so let's see how it goes...

Well, this is very lol f forgot to submit my picks for ESP like 3 rounds ago - or I did them, but something went wrong, maybe it was me - and was super annoyed with it. So I just made my picks for ITA, ESP and ENG for multiple rounds in advance and thus these picks for ITA were also made ages ago. Just checked the results and wow, what a round +8 places with one round, basically from bottom to top, Schalke's wet dream.

I admit not having too much clue about Serie A, so don't worry, I won't top the table in May. What I am capable of, you can see in ESP pool, where I am dead last and rightfully so. For La Liga I have even less clue, but I find this league super meh anyway. Sorry if this offends anyone But I still enjoy all kinds of pools, it's fun, even when you don't know what you are doing^^
