^ I think i finished with 6pts, 1 exact and 2 close ones, there are a few games under 'Live', which means points from these matches are still to be added.

Don't know why but Serie A pool takes way too much time to update/finalize results, compared to the EPL pool for example.

Overall, pretty low-scoring round for all of us, and i agree some fucked up outcomes today.

edit; results just got updated while i was posting, nothing out of the ordinary, was able to put 1.5pts on Trofo, i will take that!

Ah yeah I see, noticed the prize pot also went down a bit this season. Budgets are cut all around it seems.

That is why we are playing our pool in BTC. We have already more than doubled our prizes. When we started, first prize was about 200$ now it is almost 450$ and we are just getting started. I feel like I will be paying out thousands by the time our pool finishes  

Certainly pays to be hunkering down in BTC doesn't it? I see all of my sports/casino deposits growing in USD value too. Of course it helps that I've actually been making more than losing in general, but glad I kept most of my coins in casinos over the years and just gambling with them.

But phew, whoever wins our pool and all the various pools will be laughing to the bank!

Doesn't work that way. You can see other people picks as soon as you lock your own. Doesn't matter if other people picks are locked or not. This time you can't see anybody's picks for very simple reason - you are the only one who made picks so far

I guess we are waiting for the last moment, there is still almost a week left to do them and Premier League is going all the time so our time is invested there.

I don't even use the lock picks function anymore. Thought to gain some insight from other people's picks before, but it turns out, doesn't help me improve my game at all haha.

But yeah, I'm slogging through EPL games now. No space for anything until 1 Jan to make other picks.

You won't see my picks because I never lock it, just in case if I would want to change my pick before the game  Anyway, there is no need to hurry because there is plenty time left until upcoming round which will be played on Sunday.
Probably there is no most watch games this round, though Atalanta - Sassuolo should be fun game.

Allowing people to see picks that are not locked could actually lead to abuse, don't you think? Hypothetically speaking, i don't mean this pool or the EPL one, what happens if you join a pool with two accounts, or you are buddy-buddy with someone, you can take an unfair advantage if you are able to see unlocked picks to let's say defend/or attack a top spot in your pool in the last couple of rounds, right?

Also, does anyone know what's the cut-off time to make our predictions, 1, 2, or 5 minutes before the start of the match?

Good point. I really havent thought that it can lead to abuse, but yeah, it's possible. Though, I doubt that someone from our pools would do such thing.
I remember making picks 1 or 2 minutes before the game several times. So, I think you can make prediction even 1 second before start of the game, but I wouldn't risk to try it.

There is much more possibilities for abuse by multi accounting in our Premier League and we discussed it there in more detail.

it is possible to see other picks, but you have to lock your picks prior, or am I missing something, so if you lock your pick, it is of no use for the competition that you will see other picks, since you cannot change your own?
maybe, if you have two or three accounts, and one using just for the oversight for other people picks, but that would be too much of the effort for this pool? with BTC rising, reward is better, but it is just too much effort for a year to follow all picks, and you cannot guarantee success after all, it is just good for last rounds, if you are on the top, and have one follower, but you should came to the top in the first place

I haven't noticed beginning time of matches on Superbru and actual time doesn't match yet. But locking matches after first goal isn't true actually. What if it's goaless game, you can change your prediction until the end of game? I tried to check this thing on Sevilla - Villarreal game today, it started 17:00 local time and when I checked on 17:01 it was already not possible to change prediction.

@LTU_btc you can't change predictions after kick off, and that seems to be time set on Superbru, rather than actual kickoff times. I've seen that happen before:)

BTW guys don't forget the first games of 2021 start tomorrow! Personally I think the favourites should have no problem with all the rest they'll have had. Or maybe they party too hard and underdogs stand a chance?

I have Atalanta on one of my legs today, super tough game and Sassuolo are evenly matched on paper, so 5/1 is a good bet, but I just thought after the rest Atalanta should be on fire today.

Then again. Crotone leading Inter right now after just 12 minutes, and actually playing slightly better. We'll see. Live bet on Inter comeback tempting but not if they're playing like they are right now heh.

Dybala's last-second goal for 4:1 ruined what could have been my only exact score of this round, annoying. 

There were a couple more annoying results overall, Spezia/Verona was a draw written all over it, it took a red card and a bicycle kick by Zaccagni for Verona to win, i needed a goal from Benevento (they missed a penalty), the red card for Cagliari inflated the end result too much. Lazio's inconsistent play continues, Torino with their only second win of the season (congrats to those who picked them). Regardless, decent round for everyone i guess!

I wonder if Superbru has a special award for people who actually try very hard and still fall flat;) I've even managed to slide down across all the league pools in Superbru, embarrassingly at 75% in all of them, except global ones. And that's probably because of inactive players.

agree, if you are good in betting, does not matter where you are in the pool, at least from my point of view
I was at the bottom in the pool, for as long as the pool started, and still hoovering just above it, but I am still trying to be better

nevertheless, as long my betting experience is better than this, I am good with that

regarding the pool, I did not expected Atalanta performance, Sassuolo seem to be more stable this season, but Bergamo team is just playing for better or worse, and it does not matter who is actually in the team, they could beat everyone, and lose from every team in the same time

Well they can't loose from everyone in the league for sure, it's not that random team when it comes to Atalanta.

I actually think that consolidation is happening and more normal results are on the way. Question is whether you think Milan defeating Juve is normal? haha

It's an high scoring week generally! I've got 11.5 points so far... The fun fact is on Torino vs Verona match, we've got more users with the exact scores than those who were wrong about the result, and it was a uniform prediction..

So, Milan got first defeat in Serie A this season, Juve had really solid game. And after this game, Juventus situation significantly improved, they are now just 7 points behind Miland and they still have one game in advance.

Last round we had a grand total of 6 exact scores between all of us, this round we are doing so much better, 20 exact scores already with two games left to be played. Almost everyone has 10+ pts and LTU_btc is killing it, he needs one close result and he will reach 20 (which i think will be a pool record so far).

Well, it shows how few exact scores can change everything. Until this round I probably had least exact predictions in whole pool and now I was able to get up from 9th to 7th place. Fun thing that I almost forgot to leave predictions - I had no idea that they can play midweek games so early, I thought it will be played in the evening.
