As for Atletico, I literally wrote the same thing yesterday - they are in the title race, that's a fact. And as a Real Madrid fan, this fact causes me some concern, since in personal meetings, Atletico often takes 4 points out of 6 from Real.

Thanks man, unfortunately I went with Monaco to win against Arsenal (I know, how dumb can I be) and then I put in some Turkish delights for accas but neither Gala nor Fener could help me out. Boo.

Atletico stringed together 10 consecutive wins now. Never really been a fan of Simeone's style but you have to say, it does serve up potentially more exciting title pushes than Barca or Real. Could be a lot of positions shifting by the time the next Madrid derby happens in Feb, though. Time for Mbappe to heal, Bellingham to get better and better, etc.

Yeah, after minimal win against Getafe they already reached Real and Barca. After that crazy comeback and win against Sevilla I changed my mind about them - they can fight for title. I'm still not much concerned about Barca, despite few poor games, but if we won't beat Leganes comfortable, that will be big warning.
While Real, there is lot of talk Mbappe, but there is big problems with Real defense.

I had a bad night last evening. Everything was right until Real messed up and I was too confident about them that two large stake bets were in their favor. One to win and one in draw no bet. The draw no bet got the stake returned but since I was already frustrated, I used it in some other random match and lost those too LOL

Yes 2024bro, worst decision. But take a break now, let me win it Come back next season and see its worth it! I am in this long term, honestly it keeps me so busy but if I have to choose one last thing to do among all the pools its BSFL.

And yes, Atletico are benefiting from lack of media attention. All eyes were on Barca initially, perfect run turned into perfect shit. Then on Real because of Mbappe fails. No, it's not deserved, that was huge theft from Atletico. For you who haven't saw game I will post two numbers - Barcelona xG 2.59 vs 0.26 from Atletico. It summarizes game very well how many chances we wasted again and how good Oblak was. And that Atletico goal on last minute is probably most typical thing in Simeone era.

Didn't know about that stat, but somehow, numbers even out I guess when it comes to expected goals. But I can still blame us for not converting, and we know Atletico plays like that, we kinda allowed it in the end, and our high line is especially tricky with Atletico. Oh well.

As far as I remember I think this is not the first time that Barcelona has done this (you might remember the Lewandowski drama), but then I think that perhaps the media is cooking it hotter than it is because the headline sells pretty well I assume when it is about Barcelona being insolvent and newly purchased players can't even be registered. Maybe there is some truth to that, but maybe not. I think Barcelona knows beforehand that things will go well eventually. Otherwise, if it really becomes true once, it would be quite a spectacular disaster if one of the most popular clubs in the world signs a player but can't register it for financial reasons, but I think these clubs can never go broke. The talk about Barcelona being broke is, I don't know, going for a decade?

Yeah, whole this situation looks ridiculous. But that happens when club still have big goals, despite debts and they need players like Olmo to achieve, you can't live with academy players only. But way how they are solving these issues doesn't looks good for club future. Like previously they sold big part of future income from TV rights, now they're going to sell rights to VIP seating at Camp Nou for upcoming 20 years. That's desperate moves without looking in future.
And at the same time they're making stadium reconstruction for 1.6 billion...
