Guess this is gonna be an exciting season after all OF COURSE we have still to beat Sevilla to make this 48, 49, 50 points! And since we still have to meet both in March and in May, everything could be decided by these matches. Exciting times for everyone, minus off field problems...

Watched the full game yesterday since there wasn't PL to take my time. It was really interesting how both teams had parts of the game when they were dominating. Atletico had few good counter attacks after they scored and then Real made them defend with all players inside their 30 meters. Could have gone either way.

Also got one of the rare 3 points in the pool from this game and both to score on my ticket for the win. Couldn't be the better end to the day

That's perfect result for us, really wanted such outcome, I also had it on Superbru. I see that Real is complaining about referees, same like they did when they lost to Espanyol, but I think it was correct penalty given.

I'm honestly not sure why Real is complaining so much when the penalty is not like a clear error, and I agree seems correct. They had one or two good complaints but so many went for them.

Over in Turkey same thing with Mourinho he is complaining so much against Galatasaray and last match their opponents walked off the pitch, in fact, supposedly Galatasaray manager himself said maybe a mistake was made.

I see there is contraversy with referees on Real game again after Bellingham got red card. Seems that there some language barrier happened. He said ''fuck off'' to referee and ref understood it as ''fuck you'' Anyway, I think you're not supposed to say ''fuck off'' to referee, so I understand such red card.

What is funny to me is that Ancelotti defended him because he said fuck off. Like that is ok and ref doesn't speak English so that is why he sent him off. In my mind fuck off and fuck you are basically same level of insult but I guess they have fine gradation of insults in Real.

I am just as surprised as you are man, I guess I should buy a lottery ticket these days. I am still waaay back in the standings in this league, I hit i think 4 draws this round, hence the high score, but to be honest, the reason I am way down in the rankings is that I pick a lot of draws in this league, so after missing so many draws, it finally paid off, well at least just for one round, last season i finished 3rd cause i hit a lot of draws, tried to use the same tactic this season but it didnt go the same way as the last one.
Although I am grateful for the free bets I received for my last yellow caps, I didnt manage to hit any of them, I guess I am lucky just in Superbru, not so much with bookies, will let you know in a few days how lucky I am in lottery

You were so lucky in this round. If it works in every round, then the points difference would be huge between you and all other participants. You were against the flow and got a good result from it. Yeah, it was pretty crazy, we led by 11 points at 1 stage. Then somehow we were BEHIND by 7 points at another stage. And then suddenly we are tied for top, Atletico always nearby.

This is how every league should be actually, but it is very very rare. Spain and Italy in this perspective are the most competitive, and your right, I think however it ends, it will provide the most entertaining league this season.

England is boring, if you are lucky it's 2 horse race but the 2nd horse is always behind by 5 points or 15 points lol.

Which was quite impressive, and I must confess that Atletico Madrid did actually played an excellent game in it's first half that just ended, as it's obvious they had the most ball possession and shots on target, despite having 2 yellow cards by Lino and Lenglet at 23 minutes and 40 minutes respectively. But what's most important was the 2 sweet goals scored by Alvarez at 12 minutes and 30 minutes into the game respectively (i.e Brace). As I'm humbly sure as second half begins shortly, Atletico Madrid is likely to score more goals before the end of the game.

Many sweet goals, and now its the turn of Real to match it. Really really great run into the final third of the season and if all 3 keep winning until they meet each other, as I said before all 3 have their own chance completely in their hand (or in Real case completely in the hand of the referee lol).

And then we also have champions League, where only one Madrid will stand at the quarterfinal, kinda a shame but to have all 3 also competing is a dream. Bring it on for Blaugrana!!

Nice one @Mahdirakib. Something I said before this is my favorite league and somehow it is not the one where I stand any chance of winning this late in the season but its nice to see someone 'new' also get something out of it

Still for sure the most exciting league in sense 3 teams are all fighting for the title, and all 3 until next round still in Champions League.

What a game it was tbh! So sad I couldn't watch it.

First we went 2 goals down in a few minutes, then we came back and led 4-2... then last minute conceded. I guess we can say both teams deserve to remain in the cup, and both teams deserve their La Liga ranking.

You're right about Real record in Copa del Rey. But for me record and history don't mean anything. This is Real's strongest team in a long time, to me, the results are just not showing it. I mean, they have on paper the best front in the world (sure we have Lewandowski but come on lol), the best midfielder in the world (I love my men in blue, but Bellingham!!!).

So if El Clasico happens, I will still enjoy it.
