This was very hard round for me in La Liga, and it started very good with Osasuna match.
I was doing good in my personal bets with Getafe winning against Sevilla with amazing odds, but everything else was not so good.
Girona should be safe bet tomorrow, I think the odds are very good and they can come back on first place if they win.

Girona machine is not stopping, 3:0 against Alaves and there is a lot more time to play!
Unless some big miracle happens they are back in first place, but next one is very tricky for them with Betis.
Really impressive so far, but this run must stop at some point.

Not only that, we still underestimate them, closest this pool got was 3-1, nobody even still thinks they can dominate even after scoring 4 ahainst Barca.

I'm still far behind in the pool that I understand I need to take big risks... Girona must run into bad luck at some point as you say and Betis is immovable normally at home. Both teams together only lost 3 games so I feel like a draw is most favorable... but you know sometimes momentum is impossible to overcome!

Difficult to explain what happened, when Atletico was leading 3:1 with few minutes remain, it looked it's over. But maybe they gave too much control to Getafe that they even got chance to win game.
And yeah, yesterday all games had unexpected outcomes.

Win that doesn't brings much positive emotions. Horrible game against worst La Liga team which are still looking for their first win. Not going to repeat about wasting so many chances to score again, but quality of defense is concerning too. 21 goal conceded in half of season when in whole last season we conceded just 20.

As usual I can't follow matches live but reports and Xavi himself slammed our performances beyond doubt. I'm really not sure where we go now but I had a strong suspicion this was going to be a failure to defend the title, I just never expected to be so far behind Girona or that we would perform badly. Lewandowski magic paper not anymore can hide deficient teams.

Have faith. I get you guys seem to be low on energy, confidence, form, but the league race is fa from over -- a few more games to the halfway line and you could easily see a shift in the table, beginning with tonight's tough home game for the leaders.

No shame to rely on Lewie last season but yeah, you're lacking clutch personnel, so need to rely on Real to also lose Bellingham's service. Girona has to run aground at some point too. Plus, you never know UCL. Napoli won't be happy you drew them.

It is definitely going to take more than just Osimhen being at the top of his form to get Barcelona eliminated in champions league, Barcelona indeed look out of sync in the last few matches to be honest, the worse was the lost to Girona imo, but then, the team have lost multiple players and have multiple players back too, so I would say understand the lack of chemistry to a reasonable extent, because Barcelona doesn't have a specific starting xi for this season, and Lewandowski for a fact too have been very rusty and wasteful, so there is still a lot of work to be done.

However the mistakes they made in defense disappointed me and caused me to lose money. I don't think that I will place any bet on Barcelona from now on this season. I hope that Napoli can manage to eliminate Barcelona comfortably as I expect.

will be an interesting season, Girona has potential to reach CL spot, but I don't believe they will finish on top at the end, Real is no.1 candidate to get title back

It was a typo, but I think there was some mistake on flashscore website when I check the positions in La Liga table.

Didn't watched game in full, more like moments while jumping between channels. It was tough game, especially after Nach got red card and it even looked that draw wouldn't be bad result for them.

As much as I like Girona, I don't believe that they can win title, I doubt that depth and quality of their squad is enough to fight with Real. But their chances to get into Champions league is great. It's incredible what transition they made in few years. IIRC, it's just their second season after return to La Liga. I actually started to like them before it was cool. Followed them a bit when they played in Segunda and was really sad when they lost promotion playoff final few years ago.

I bet with a handicap all the time but Barcelona is the worst choice for this in my opinion. They win almost all their games (if they win) with a minimum score and it all looks very doubtful. By the way, now I checked the statistics - for the entire season in all tournaments (including the games with Antwerp), Barcelona was able to win by more than one goal in only three games (the last of which was in mid-September). So a handicap of -2 goals would be appropriate with odds of 3 or even 4, but not 2.05. Even against a clear outsider this is too little, the value was on the other side.


Meanwhile, the standings are returning to normal, Girona expectedly lost points (I guessed the exact score 1-1), and Real Madrid, despite unexpected problems, took three points. It's funny, but here's what I noticed:

It turns out that after a round where Barcelona won and Girona lost 2 points, Barcelona’s quotes fell and Girona rose:

What a freaking crazy results in La Liga today 
First Getafe easily lost at home against Rayo Vallecano and they earn two red cards, and now Real Sociedad almost lost from Alaves, goal in stoppage time saved them.
Maybe we are going to see more surprise results in first round of 2024 but I have no crystal ball to predict them.

yeah, it is not often to see that no one made even a point in two matches
but Valencia seems to play as expected, and we will see points there, as it looks now, it is just a question will those be given for a win, over Villareal will get to draw in the end

I think we are going to see goals in this match, Girona is missing some players today but they managed to have the best attack in La Liga.
This could be good chance for Atletico to come back in race for championship title and reduce the gap from top two clubs, even more if Real dont win against Mallorca today.
