Tell me that you're Real Madrid fan without telling that you're Real Madrid fan. Not really sure what makes you so confident. It's especially fun to read this post afterdraws with mediacore Rayo Vallecano and Elche. Praising Mbappe is ok, but there is worrying signals like Vinicius is only shadow of himself, or Rodrygo is still without goals this season.

I think good/bad Real performances are very much a case of how opposition lines up against them. I mean that is a case for most teams but top teams like Real should have better plan B and even plan C for situations when things don't go your way.

If opponents leave a lot of room from Mbappe and Vinicius they look unstoppable in attack like against Olympiacos in CL (but even in that match they were very suspect in defense). If opponents play low block and clip Vinicius on his heels a couple of times Real looks toothless and without ideas while Vinicous just lies on the pitch and complains to the ref.

To be fair, even Barca doesn't have Plan B or Plan C tho, but somehow for 2 seasons our Plan A has worked 90% of the time. Last season I remember reading that we should have let in 2x more goals than we did and our super high line was just not gonna last the whole season.

Well it did and we still seem like inssiting on it this season.

Unfortunately for Barca and Real, that means we aren't winning Champions League.

Barcelona vs. Atlético is almost always an easy three points for Barcelona. Atlético's existence is to mess with Real Madrid and give Barcelona points  I'm thinking about betting on Barcelona in this match every season and thus having at least 2 value bets per season.
Real Madrid is losing points to outsiders and this is disgusting, now we can only hope that they at least don’t start to fall behind by more than the result of the head-to-head match. For now, I'm still confident that Real is the favorite.

I can relate. La Liga used to be my best pool, but now it's one of worst, I'm doing worse only in Ligue 1. This week I gained few positions, but there is still very long way to even reach middle.

I think because fans and board are happy with what they achieve. They did win one title a few seasons ago and that was enough. As a club, they know they cannot compete with superstars Real and Barca, so they take what they can get.
