I would combine Serie A and La Liga (bigger prizes, more volatility, and actually same crowd of people) but I guess that would be harder to manage as manually combine scores.
But I would be much happier to also play a few. I have missed many picks this season simply because there's too many to join.
Combining pools is big no for me. I'm not equally good/bad on each league, so, I prefer to play individual on each league. And manual work to manage results doesn't sounds like great idea, I guess mafia have enough work with BSFL.
If it's a bit too much for you, nobody forces you to play in all pools, But if I would have to choose preferred pools, I agree with Trofo that EPL, La Liga, Serie Bundesliga and CL would be enough.
Also, Sportsbet used to sponsor most of pools. I'm wondering what situation with sponsors now, how difficult it will be to find sponsor with goodenough money
It is not really too much for me but I was thinking if @Trofo said that there was too many and it is healthier for some of the pools should die then I thought one option to not lose some pools like Ligue 1 or Championship is to combine them.
I also do not prefer that, of course, but I can understand some people who play those other pools would have nowhere to go. And that could be an option for those 'small' pools.
It is always difficult to find sponsors, especially those who want to pay the organizer, for sure!! Which is I why absolutely have big respect for some organizers who do it completely for our benefit and nothing in it for them, and yet we expect a lot. Especially for new organizers who make mistakes, the 'expectations' are not always reasonable.
For me it is healthier for the big organizers like mafia to also have other diverse organizers. Sponsors once they see only same people will also feel less likely to sponsor smaller pools (IMO). Like, if I was sportsbet I would want to do all the pools but if I see only one type of organizer and 1 type of pool only, then why do I need to sponsor 10 when I can sponsor 5?
I don't know the real situation but sometimes I think about things longterm and in all market theories, competition and diversity is always healthy.
