1.83 for Barcelona to win with a handicap of -1.5 - to be honest, I don’t know if this is fair or not. It's clear that Barcelona should crush Elche without any problems on paper, but as always, their defense is leaky, and the score could be 2-3 easily.
I'll think about the bet tomorrow, United robbed me today, i need to see how Inter, Bayern and Real behave.

Ah Okay I think it is 'fair' based on last season and based actually on who Elche is but I can admit everyone is just having fingers crossed at the moment. Mourinho got his job saved by a whisker and most books also placed a 1.25 handicap there so maybe there is something to it.

United are a mess. But by the way, I liked their game, the only thing they're missing is a killer striker. But I will try to avoid betting on them, my bias may be too expensive for me (yesterday I added a United win to a United win in a multi-bet when the score became 0-1, and then added bets that United would score the next goal after the score became 0-2).
It's good that the three I listed didn't let me down, I was especially pleased with Real Madrid, which saved themselves in the last minutes, this gives me some free money to take risks today.

Torres played well (and it's obvious his choice to leave Barcelona was the right one haha), but damn PSG ruined my multiple bet that would have ended the weekend with a good profit.
The most disappointing thing is that I was 90% sure that Milan would win - the main value was here, but I added Barcelona and PSG for the sake of boosts. It's frustrating to find the right main pick and lose because of boosts, I admit that 1.32x1.49 can't be free money either, but still.
The odds for today's Chelsea and Roma look fair, but it's unlikely that you can make a good multiple bet on these murky games.

Agree with you, PSG can afford to play mediocrely and not risk anything, but I thought that after the defeat in the Super Cup to Lens they should play seriously. By the way, the next game will also be away, against a normal opponent - Lille, so the odds will be good, I think I'll get even there.

Great start of season for Barca, but Elche was convenient opponent as they didn't parked bus and let us to play football.

Didn't watched PSG, so, I was surprised to see final score. Not season start that they wanted, but playing in farmers league they have luxury to drop points in such way time from time.

Yes, I saw it, plus Alvarez himself had a sour face the whole time. Before this game, there were leaks that Atlético planned to keep Alvarez out of the squad to avoid escalating tensions between him and the fans, but now they've thrown him under the bus. Some speculate this was deliberate: the transfer to Barcelona is already off the table, and Alvarez himself doesn't want to go to Arsenal. But if his life at Atlético is made unbearable, he'll change his mind. I can't be happier for him, a good guy with good service to the club, and I'm very happy he gave PSG an immediate impact, but honestly they were shocking to need to rely on the new guy.

Take some happiness from the fact you chose 1.3 and 1.4 boosts rather than 1.1, but then again I think guys like you are too smart for that

Yup, I'll eat my words happily slam, I did think it was too early to call the shots on the margin of winning, but Elche proved me wrong, Barca proved me wrong, even Gordon proved me wrong. Like you said, you seem to find a way every season, right from the beginning. Opening matches rarely say much about the season but I think for Real and Barca, their wins and the manner with which they achieved it seem to be fitting preludes to the rest of their story.

I think it's adequate reaction - nothing strange that fans won't show much love for a player who isn't loyal to their club. But yeah, there is no winner in this situation, there is no point keeping such player in squad. This drama reminds story of Osimhen. There is talks about Arsenal as only option, but I'm wondering why they're not considering loan option.

Atletico want to get profit from this transfer so loan is not an option atleast for now. There is a possibility that Alvarez will fumble on the new club so no reason for them to take that risk

I think you're wrong to blame the fans, they're perfectly normal people, and it's not about "love" for the club. The point is that if an ordinary person stops going to work and fulfilling the contract they signed, they'll get into big trouble, even jail. But a footballer (who's already a millionaire) can act like a spoiled brat and not fulfill his contract because he has a "dream." I think any normal person's blood would boil at this kind of behavior. Footballers need a serious reality check, preferably with sticks and punches

In the long run, this "rational" position will harm everyone - what's the point of long-term contracts if a player can break them at any time? If I remember correctly, it was the players who fought for long-term contracts (insurance for their income in the event of injury).
