Pi Network is at 5 million users

I tried to install their app months ago and uninstalled it too after a week (or less than) because of some issues here.

The instant surge of the users are probably because of the way you can earn their tokens. I've seen apps like this too but this is the only app where I tried to install it. On the other hand, you can't sell it at all at this moment so you are just rich in the dashboard and nothing else . You can say that it is your money if you can withdraw it and sell it to different exchanges.

I will not reinstall this in the future. I don't like the way people are earning token. It is quite easy to earn so I'm pretty sure that the token will be worthless too in the future because many holders will sell it immediately because it is free money . I can be wrong though so your decision still .

I don't know if Pi Network will have a real application. I'm mining their coin with my smartphone but I don't know if it will be ever listed on exchange or used in the app. Could be nice that the token could be used also for pay for some tasks

Have you all noticed that they are making money out of the ads they are showing to their users everytime I logged in here I have to go fast those ads before I tuen on mining, and with million of users you can just imagine how huge their earnings coming from those ads the team will emplot more on how to make money from their millions of users.

The future and prospect of this Pi network depend  greatly on the listing on the exchange and this is the reason why it has not been listed on any exchange. It is very uncommon to see project having such huge numbers of community which in the case of Pi, it is due to the reward which is substantial and ease through which it can be mine even with the use of smartphone

I just hope Pi use this busy crypto period to launch. People have been mining for over a year now and I think some are becoming restless. Let them launch in exchange so everyone can know how valuable it is

I believe that pi will become worthless because pi token is easily to earn. It just have a difficulty when there is increase in the number of users. Unlike with other coins, mining of their tokens require mining rigs. And rigs are not really cheap. They are expensive. But look how we mine, pi token. We easily click and wait for 24 hours until you will restart again.

Anyway, I have 760 pi but I did not open it because I have found a scam accusation against pi network.

It is really a proof of work consensus? Because it is 100% pure mobile wallet app, so it doesn't make a sense to me because mobile phones have low computing power.

The development team may be proud of their achievement hitting the 5 million mark but those who have been mining all this time are not so proud I guess. They have been mining for nothing. No money invested, yes I completely understand, but there is also no money made or gained.

So my question to you is very basic: What will I get if I mine Pi?

Maybe you just get their sweet promise  I think it's just a waste of time if we are mining Pi coins but we can't sell it. I have not received information when their development team will list Pi coins on the Exchange. Reaching 5 million users is very fantastic but it becomes meaningless if they do not get satisfactory results.

It is promise for you and money for them. You cannot spend that sweet promise while they are enjoying the fruits of their scheme. That's 5 million and counting all over the world. I bet their app is definitely making easy money through ads. This is no more than a well-thought of scam. That's a little bit harsh but there seems to be no other better word for it.

Im not so sure about it. Anything related to mobile mining could be a scam. I heard of this project before and been hearing until now, does this project have blockchain at all? If its a crypto project they should have a network at least.

Be careful even though its look legit there is a chance that the app could have viruses that could damage your phone and steal information.

That's a waste of time if there's still no exchange that has it. While the users are kept on doing that mining thing on their phones, they seem to believe that they are actually mining.

If that starts asking KYC soon, I guess you all have to start forgetting about the coin.

Why is it they are taking so long in listing this project to at least one exchange? At least give a lil bit of hope to those mining their coin. And if they do really ask KYC in the future, I don't think this coin is worth following for. They will make things hard for those that are patiently supporting their project and hoping that one day they will hit in a decent exchange.

I don’t believe all of are real users. I'm not wonder if hit 5 million miners because Pi Network promoted provably for the last 2 years. I heard it from social media than i started mining this coin, a thousand coins still i own but value is 0 without exchange. You created this thread to share your referral code?

You can check their road map they are following their road map strictly so expect this project to launch next year, for me they should have launch soon and create a wallet for their token so people can claim I'm afraid they are going to implement  KYC so if you do not like KYC then better stop mining this early.

True, I don't think Pi impress me after such a long in operating in the cryptos and hasn't got to list on the exchange. The consensus algorithm is novel enough and the number of members in its community is a good point but that's not enough.

Pi has been running for a long time until now they have not been listed in the market, I don't understand how the team is oriented towards this project, the surge in users and demand is very high now but cannot be sold, for KYC I don't think they will implement that.

Going through the white paper I didn't saw any road map of the project. Pi network keeps growing, none is sure of its listing to exchanges. If I'm not wrong the testnet will continue until specific target users are reached. Further the mainnet seems to go on production. However this is termed to be a complicated project, but legitimate in their activities. Sure to experience growth out of mining pi, but the timeline for the same is unknown.

At first, it was interesting mining every day but at some point, I got tired of it because nothing was forthcoming. If the developers are really serious about this project then they should move forward with good listing to show how serious they are. It boring mining without ant future clearity.

I have it in my phone but it's been so many months but no updates about listing or how to claim this coin, yes they do have 5 million users according to their stat but I wonder if the number will reflect when they start doing KYC there are huge numbers of multiple users here we never know, sometimes I forgot to turn it on because it looks useless your earnings is only on papers.

Pi Network is free without investing. But the results have never been seen, I mean that the generated tokens cannot be sold at all. that's the information I got from my friend who does mining on Pi Network. Why waste time if it doesn't produce.
