What a boring game so far. Lille and PSG are playing like that have nothing to gain from winning the match. Neither team has taken the lead so far and the match looks like it will end in a barren draw between the two sides. No goals so far with just 2 shotson target (1 each).  I think if Mbappe and Neymar started the game, it would have been a different story now. I just don't like seeing a good  fixture like this end in a barren draw. I was expecting to see at least 2 goals for PSG and at least 1 from Lille. From the looks of things, that would happen anytime soon.

Well, Mbappe just came on for Di Maria, let's see if he can change the game tempo.  Too dull at the moment.

it was really a boring game with the logical result 0-0. but this one point allowed Lille to take the 1st spot in the French Ligue 1 table while PSG is only 3rd though the gap between the 1st and the 3rd places is only one point.

There will be a match between Monaco and St. Etienne on Wednesday. After losing three times in a row in the league, Monaco managed to win against Dijon yesterday. I am sure that it helped Monaco pull themselves together. St. Etienne won just one of their last 5 matches and the rest of them ended in a draw. In my opinion, Monaco will win again and continue their series.

PSG played an away match against Lille yesterday. It was a very hard match for both teams for sure. Lille are doing awesome things this season. I especially like Yusuf Yazici's performance. He is a very talented player. PSG didn't choose to start with Mbappe. Neymar was absent too because of his injury. Both teams played attentively. Sadly, we didn't watch any goal in the match.

True, despite the fact that the ball possession was almost totally PSG's, the skill came from both teams, and it is a quality of both of them. Honestly, despite the 0-0, I didn't find the game disappointing. Lille is an unimpeachable team and you can see it every time they take the field.

PSG will play a home match against Strasbourg tomorrow night. They have got just one win in their last three matches in the league. They will definitely want to win this. Strasbourg have scored and conceded many goals in their away matches so far. They scored 16 goals and conceded 14 goals on 8 away matches. They may score against PSG too but I think PSG will win this match without having too much problem.

Rennes played a home match against Metz this evening. Rennes had a quite good performance in their last matches. They had a 3-match winning series in the league before this match. They were the dominant team in this match and managed to win here. But the score was really risky for them and Metz were nearly bringing the score to 1-1. With this victory, Rennes continued their winning series.

i think it's really hard for Rennes if not impossible to qualify for the champions league, they only have a chance to qualify for the Europa League which is still hard because they're competing against Monaco, Marseille and Montpellier.

It's been a nice run of form for Rennes lately. 4 of 4 wins is a good one. The big question is if they would be able to make ir a consistent run. Before the game, I wasn't confident about them winning Metz. So I went with a double chance selection. They didn't disappoint and even went further to win. Let's hope they keep fighting for points with every game. This season's Ligue 1 is quite tough. Great game today though. They're now in 4th place with 3 points above Marseille.

So he wasn't sacked because he is not number one in the league but because he expressed a disappointment of the action of the "people above him". Classic

They have time now as there are the holidays and they have to thinl together as a team what did they do wrong in these last five games.After doing such analysis they should focus on the future and be positive that they will improve when the Ligue 1 restarts because if they come up the same as now when the Ligue 1 restarts I am afraid they will have a very hard time getting good results.

Monaco is not showing impressive game against strong clubs they only 1 match won against PSG and the overall performance is not good. If they want to make comeback they should have make a great strategy to boost their confidence up and get back in the race towards win the title but personally I have pretty low expectation from them so let's see how they will make this possible when the matches will get started again.

No i meant that they are in a good shape and they can compete against them for the title considering the performance of lille this season both in the ligue 1 and  europa league they are dangerous and can pause a threat for lyon.
