Lyon getting a tie against Reims destroyed all their plans. Lille and PSG fighting real hard to win the league, I have to be honest and say that I did not expected Lille to be this good, they were 20 points PSG last year and finished the league with 49 points (cut short) but they played 28 games last year as well as this year so far and they have 12 more points compared to last year, PSG has about 8 less points as well so they meet at the middle give or take.

I really think that Lyon being close to PSG plays a big role, it really disturbs PSG a lot if you ask me, and that tie and impending PSG win could be very tough for Lyon this week, they may get further away. In the end 2 opponents is harder to fight than one, and PSG needs both of them to disturb them, if the only opponent is Lille, the moment they lose PSG could get ahead, so Lyon has to recover this with winning every game until PSG loses.

Its easy to say but hard to see...im not a barcelona fan but i cant imagine the team without messe, i think psg players are focusing on the champoins league more than everything else and i think if they contunue this way they will finally give up the trophy but who really expect that really can do such season ?

I can't imagine how a superb and unstoppable team PSG can be with Messi and Ronaldo both.    The attacking side of the starting lineup could be like this:

Neymar            Messi            Mbappe

But the problem is Neymar and Mbappe are both right-footed and left-wingers (Mbappe is actually seen as CF and can play as RW also). In this situation one of them would have a role like making assists more than scoring goals maybe. But still, it would be the most dangerous team.

Many people were shocked by the defeat of PSG, this is really embarrassing for PSG. PSG should be able to beat Nantes easily. Especially since
the beginning of the match PSG dominated the match,  as PSG concentrated too much on attacking after being conceded by Nantes in the 59th minute.
Finally, surprisingly Moses Simon scored the winning goal on 71 minutes. This is a valuable lesson for Pochettino never to underestimate a weak team.
So PSG failed to get close to the points owned by Lille, because they have to lose points to face Nantes.

They dominated the match at the beginning, certainly, but it was a very short domination. They've only been able to score one goal in the first half and Kylian Mbappe hasn't been able to score one goal at least, during all the match, that's really disappointing.

I disagree with you, there aren't "playing great at Ligue 1" anymore in my opinion, you can't say that when you're beaten at home 1-2 by the penultimate of the league table. And I don't think it's because they are focusing on the Champions League, I think it's because there are crashing without Neymar. The family of Angel Di Maria has been home jacked during the match yesterday (and also Marquinhos' parents living in the same area as far as I know), some people says it could explain the defeat but I disagree with that, PSG was already playing badly before being informed of the event during the match.

I think after scoring their goal in the first half of the match, they thought they've already won and they haven't to be offensive and determined to win anymore, but they were wrong and Nantes took its chance. Nonetheless I don't trust them anymore until Neymar comes back, I won't bet on them in the meantime.

Hahaha, You are right mate. PSG was playing just awesome againt Barcelona. If they could do such a great performance in Ligue 1, they would undoubtedly be able to win the title. But PSG cannot perform as expected in Ligue 1. I think PSG's main goal is the Champions League. They don't take Ligue 1 very seriously. So they are failing to perform as expected. Defeat against a small team like Nantes, Lorient in League 1 is not desirable for a team like PSG.

To me PSG is one of the inconsistent winning team along with laliga side Sevilla who often plays well at international match and become cat with home clubs.

I don't think PSG does good research on matches against smaller teams in Ligue 1. They did not give any importance to these matches. So they have lost against small teams. On the other hand, in the Champions League, the players of PSG try their best to win the match. PSG has a lot of talented and skilled players. They have the ability to win against any strong team.

Yeah, it was very shocking for me too. I don't understand why PSG let Nantes play much better than them after getting ahead 1-0. It is really frustrating to see this when big clubs do this mistake against weaker ones and get the punishment for it. Even though Neymar was injured, it was not that hard for them to win it normally.

Tonight Monaco destroyed AS Saint-Etienne 0-4. What a beating at home! Saint-Etienne didn't lose against Monaco in their 5 past meetings yet.
Monaco is now sure to be qualified for the Europa League!
