I do not think that it is a pity, PSG had years to build around him, and they finally did that is true but the team wasn't really filled with too many stars, even Messi had stars like xavi, iniesta and countless others on his best year, Ronaldo had so many good players, Mbappe usually only had Neymar (and that is a big name I accept that) and others were just decent.

Plus, when a player wants to leave, you can't really make him stay for too long, dude was already an expensive layer when he came to PSG and if PSG declines to sell him, then they are accepting the fact that they will keep him for one more season for 160+ million, because that is how much they are missing out on, which means that is how much they could have made but didn't just for one season of him playing. All these getting together makes it basically obvious that Mbappe leaving is not a big deal, both parties are accepting the terms at this point to leaving after one more season.

I do not think that there is anything to be shocked about the decline and I believe that it will go on like that for a long time as well. PSG wants to keep Mbappe and they will keep him as well there is just nothing wrong with that and it will continue to be like that for a long time. Think about it, if they said no to 180 million, would an extra 20 million make them go "oh yes that is a lot better we accept"? This is not like 30 to 50, this is from 180 to 200 and that's a lot.

I do not think that we should be focusing on anything at this point about this transfer rumor, it is not going to happen and Mbappe is at PSG this year and that is the end of the discussion. I understand that there are fans of madrid that wants to see him, and even mbappe wants to leave and all of that is totally understood but that doesn't change the fact that PSG is not willing to sell him.

PSG has up to tomorrow to respond to Real Madrid offers, I think they will try to play this game with Mbappe in the bench and see how the game will end without him since Messi and probably Neymar will be present. We will see.
