I think it's high time we try to understand that football is not based on the name of the players in the team rather the performance of the team will create a very positive change in the team which I think is what is happening in the PSG team right now. Mbappe left the team everyone was expecting them to break the bank to sign big names which may never help them to win the league since they once had Mbappe, Messi to mention but few yet they ended up winning just the domestic league don't you think the team made a good decision to start working with players without high profile?

I have already made it clear that PSG will have no problem winning the local league title but with the squad they currently have, it will be difficult for them to do well in the Champions League. If you look at the teams that have qualified for the Champions League, if you consider the strength of the teams and the strength of PSG, PSG will be far behind all the other teams in every aspect. I agree with what you said that big name alone is not enough to perform well, consistency is very important along with big name. But you know very well and I know that if the team does not have good defenders, experienced midfielders as well as the best strikers then the performance of the team will not be good.  

If PSG are only satisfied with France league then they don't need to buy players in their squad but if they really plan well for Champions League then I would say they definitely need quality players.

It is on the champion league side I disagree with you completely because unlike you, I'm expecting PSG to do very well in the champions league this season. you all make valid points. As of now, PSG has indeed shown an impressive performance despite mbappe exit, indicative of their adaptability and depth clearly, they're more than capable of dominating their local Ligue 1

however, as stated, it's yet to be seen whether they can maintain this form against stronger and more challenging opponents in competitions like the champions League and though they've coped well so far, mbappe absence may indeed be more noticeable on such grand stages.

finally, it would be interesting to note how, or if, PSG plans to fill the void left by Mbappe with another equally talented playmaker. Once again I want to say that Enrique is not a coach who relies on one player so that Mbappe's departure did not affect PSG at all in achieving victory, even PSG's goal productivity has increased since Mbappe left. The absence of kylian mbappe is something I think PSG and prepared for even before now as they had home play few games towards the end of last season and probably that has helped them in a way so now they play well enough in a manner it doesn't feel like his absence has got much on them, it will be proven better if they get to win the ligue 1 title by the end of the Sea and get to the semi finals or finals in the champions league but winning the ligue 1 will be a good prove tho. Staying unbeaten so far is a good record for PSG and last season they didn't get to suffer many losses too so if they are consistent enough, they could stay unbeaten this season in the ligue 1.

Not at the moment though, but it still doesn't mean that PSG will be unbeaten this season, the club has been making some tremendous investments over the years bringing in the best players and coaches which other clubs can't afford and to an extent this has been one of the edges they have over the other clubs in the league1 and this may linger until some of these other clubs probably assume the same financial status that PSG are currently enjoying at the moment but until then, PSG may never experience any strong rivalry.

PSG so far is still performing quite perfectly without defeat from the 3 matches they have played and making PSG currently still firmly ranked above the ligue 1 standings, in contrast to PSG, Brest who last season performed impressively, this season actually started the season with two consecutive defeats and 1 win so that they are in the 12th tier of the ligue 1 standings,  when last season Brest surprised us but they still haven't been able to beat PSG especially now when they are in bad shape in the league, so I think it will be difficult for Brest to get points from PSG later, the match will start in less than two hours but to be honest I personally don't see the match will be an exciting match considering the quality and performance of the two teams currently have a far comparison.

In my opinion, what is failing are the constant changes that the coach has been making in each game. He played against Angers and PSG and put in a formation that in my opinion gave good results, he beat Angers and although he lost to PSG, they still managed to score 1 goal. But strangely he changed the formation in the game against Saint Ettiene, I don't know if this was to save players because they have a game in the Champions League. But it is clear that this season they are not doing well and will have a lot of difficulty finishing at the top of the table.


PSG is having a hard time winning, it's funny that they are playing against a weak opponent. Maybe this is a consequence of international games. Maybe the PSG players are tired. Anyway, there are still 45 minutes left in the game, PSG can still win the game.

Whatever the reason, I am personally very confident about PSG being very likely to win in the home match against Brest. With the confidence I have, I also bet with the PSG -1.5 asian handicap option butyes,  even though PSG is playing at home, it doesn't seem easy for PSG to win with a big score in this match. Because after all, the fact is that Brest  managed to score first through a penalty kick successfully executed by Del Castillo in the 29th minute. Yep, the international break may have a little negative impact on players who defend their respective countries and their physical condition will definitely be a little weaker. Actually, PSG often put pressure but just lack focus to score. There were so many very good opportunities but often failed to score. Brest should not be a tough opponent and initially it annoyed me when PSG gave Brest 1 chance to score from a penalty kick.
