Marseille is definitely a good team in the French League but still, I don't think if Marseille can even beat a team like PSG with the good teamwork they have during this season thanks to Enrique. Three matches have been played in the French Ligue 1 so far and considering the results and the performances of the teams in the competition, it's very safe to say that Paris Saint Germaine's biggest rivalry this season will be Marseille.
Mason Greenwood who already have scored 5 league games this season have been exceptional for his new club and if he can continue with his performance, then I think we'll experience a very competitive campaign in the French league. However, I still expect Paris Saint Germaine to retain the league at the end of the season

It was an achievement for them because they were able to show something good like that. This season they started the league with a less than good performance so that they have already felt 2 defeats. I personally am not too surprised if Brest declines at this time, because they have just been in the top board and maybe they are not used to the pressure and expectations that come to them. There is still time for them to rise and return to showing performance like last season.

What happened with Brest last season is the same thing that Lens felt in the previous 2 seasons where indeed they are a club that is actually always in the middle of the table but when there is good momentum they sometimes become a surprise club. But something like that can't keep happening every season because it only happens in some unexpected seasons. So when last season they played and had a good performance, it would not be surprising if the next season they would be a little troubled to undergo the season.

I actually don't expect too much from Brest but indeed when they are now in the Champions League then the situation is clearly different because after all this has become a big competition and representatives of each major competition in Europe are a reflection of the league itself so they have to work hard to show that ligue 1 is not bad for a big competition and not just use PSG as a shield for now.

Most likely Marseille is going to be a befitting rival to PSG and thw reason cannot be far fetched, one of which is in the fact that Marseille currently has got a better depth than they do before now, they have got a key player who has been brilliantly epic in rhw person of greenwood who's performance and presence has been of a great boost to the psychology of other players who are his team mates, ahead of other ligue one teams PSG excluded, Marseille is obviously having a much more better form than others this season ans so far they have lost no game even after three fixtures, all they need now is consistency and a strategy that will help them maintain their results so far as to keep  them long enough in the title race and if they be lucky, they get to win the trophy.

This should be a match that Paris Saint Germain can win, Brest has lost 2 of the 3 matches they have played, that means their strength is not the same as last season where Brest could compete at the top of the standings and could win 1 ticket to go to the Champions League. I don't remember the last time Brest was able to beat Paris Saint Germain, because based on the data I saw from 2010 the best achievement when facing Paris Saint Germain was only being able to draw. They often struggle and even when they were in their best form last season, they couldn't beat Paris Saint Germain. Paris Saint Germain is highly favored to win.

Marseille may have a very different performance in attack after having Greenwood but the defense is still the same as last season. Marseille could compete with PSG, but to get the league 1 title it seems very difficult. Whatever happens, PSG quality is much higher in terms of defense, it is very different and Marseille only has a perfect attack line. Unless the Marseille coach is able to provide a consistent strategy to continue to get points.
BTW, it seems that Greenwood will be a player who will continue to be discussed here if he has a good career and can score more. The former Man United player seems very comfortable playing with Marseille and does not need long to adapt.

You are right, Marseille weakness at the moment is their defense line which is not really solid and able to withstand various attacks when facing other strong team in Ligue 1, their opportunity is to take advantage of the upcoming transfer window to be able to improve their defense line.
For Greenwood in the three matches he has played with Marseille, he looks very good and as new striker it is very satisfying because he has been able to provide 5 goals at the start of his first season, this is development that really helps Marseille to be able to perform better considering that last season they could only finish in 8th place.
To be honest, fighting for the championship title is not easy, maybe there will be an opportunity for Marseille but if they can't take advantage of everything well then the opportunity is still very small to be realized.
I think if Greenwood performs well here and really brings Marseille towards better change then there will be interest for other teams to have him, it is even possible that PSG will also be interested in being able to have Greenwood in the future.

It seems to be the same for me too. I have considered them to be one of the clubs fighting to win the France League 1 Competition this very season. With De Zebri in charge, they have started the season we'll though with double wins and also a point shared on matchday two. It's been quite sometime since they last won the League 1 Competition though, I won't be boggled seeing them fighting to win it this season. Mason Greenwood newly signed from Manchester United is also slowly becoming the face of League 1 Competition since Kylian Mbappe left for Real Madrid. He's had just the perfect debut in a new environment and competition. After matchday three, it gladdens my heart to see that he had taken his goal tally to five goals in three games. It's a great start and hopefully, he consistently put in those balls behind the back of the net for Marseille.

I will also bet PSG to win. The first reason is that PSG are in very good form right now. In every match we have seen PSG players perform well. Also the bonding between PSG players is very strong. Because of this they can play well against any team. Even in the last match against strong Lille, PSG players performed well. Therefore, in such a situation, the Brest team is not a strong opponent for PSG.

Another reason to consider PSG favorites against Brest is that Brest's defense is quite weak. Brest conceded 5 goals against Marseille and conceded two goals against Lens. Nantes also have made a really good start to the season. 2 wins and a draw. I have checked their squad and I can't say I know most of the names there. But for now the team effort is just fine. 

Do you expect them to finish at one of top positions this season? I haven't watched any of their game so that's why I'm asking if you have watched. We are likely to see this kind of teams making surprises in this league you know.

In games like this most persons do Jude by impulse because of the superiority of the other team, PSG is the team with the superiority where and so it's enough reason for others without hesitation to just consider them the favourite for the game but for me I don't do so, I make some reservations especially if I'm to place a bet on them and by that I mean I try to look into possible evenly of the game probably the number of goals, corner, cards or other available predictive options but I may risk it on another ticket that the superior team will win, generally I'm just saying there's never an absoluteness in the predictions of the possible outcome of a football game because most times we don't have that absolute control over the outcome and results of this games and this doesn't dispute the fact that PSG remains the superior team still.

I am one of those who do not believe in this assumption, how can losing Mbappe destroy PSG game because football is a team game, not an individual game. Luis Enrique is not a coach who only cares about one player, he does not make a particular player special in the team so that losing that player has a positive impact on his team's game. PSG players managed to show their best performance at the start of this season, their game was much better than before and this happened after Mbappe left.

PSG is starting to put their trust and hope in Luis Enrique. The club's board of directors is trying to extend his contract and make him a coach who can build a new era for PSG. The Champions League trophy is the only target that has not been won so far, they hope Luis Enrique can make this dream come true with financial support to bring in several top players.

Brest is not an ideal opponent for PSG, the different results achieved by both teams since the start of the season give an advantage to PSG, PSG increasing performance recently means Brest has to play closed with a focus on defense. Although anything can happen in football, Brest's chances of stealing points from PSG are very small, this match will be lopsided because PSG will try to get a fourth consecutive win.

I will not be surprised and amazed if PSG can immediately get full points again in the next match in Ligue 1 because PSG's dominance is still quite extraordinary this season, but we still don't know how PSG will perform when they play in the Champions League this season because Ligue 1 is not a difficult thing for PSG to become champions again this season.

Last season, this team was usually in the middle of the French League, interestingly they were able to finish in third place in the standings until the end of the season. This season, it is clearly not easy to repeat how they played their matches like the previous season. At the beginning of Ligue 1, Brest fell at home with a score of 0-0 by Leverkusen. Next week Brest will visit the Parc des Princes, the home of Paris Saint-Germain. It is not an easy match for Eric Roy's team, which is PSG's positive trend in its three matches, especially since Brest acts as the away team. So it is clear that PSG is far superior in the match between these two teams. Moreover, if we refer to the betting exchange odds, there is a fairly obvious gap. Which can be interpreted, PSG will make Brest their goal barn. At least, based on my theory. Although PSG will host Girona in the Champions League after playing their match against Brest, it seems that Enrique will not rotate his players much.
