It was a truly disappointing result for Marseille. Their second loss in three weeks—and a 3-2 defeat at home to Paris FC, no less—is not something that can be easily explained.

What’s interesting about the match, however, is that despite coming back twice, Marseille once again looked vulnerable on defense. Gouiri scored two goals to keep his team in the game, but Sinayoko was the star of the night, scoring a hat trick to secure the three points for Paris FC.

Will this team really be able to challenge for the top spots, or will we see inconsistent results throughout the season? For now, things don't look very promising.
Aubameyang, Mason Greenwood, and even Ethan Nwaneri all left Marseille, and now their performance looks like this. These players performed well last season and help them qualify for Europe, now nothing to show for. Marseille was just focused on selling players instead of signing, forgetting that they are playing Europa league this season.

I didn't watch the game, but from the score line, I can say that their defence is weak. To be honest, I don't see Marseille going anywhere this season if they don't make the right signings in the January window. The squad looks very weak compared to last season.

PSG continues their poor form into the season for the third consecutive time this season and I'm shocked because I wouldn't have believed it of anyone had told me PSG wouldn't win a match after 3 matches. I'm shocked seriously but I know when things get back on track for them they will take themselves all the way to the top, I'm sure of this, probably they are just having a downslide at the moment and they will be back on track soonest. But I hope a team will emerge that will give them a run for their money this season and beyond.

So far, PSG has gone four consecutive matches without a win. They still haven't felt victory in three weeks of Ligue 1 and one more in the French Super Cup final. I also believe there are many gamblers who have lost due to what PSG is going through right now.

But when it comes to trophy competition, I have no doubt PSG can end the season with a trophy even though they started the season poorly. For me, this kind of thing is already common with PSG. They start getting consistent and serious around December/January. Just look at last season Lens was at the top only until December, then Lens lost their consistency and PSG eventually managed to overtake them.

I mean, PSG usually gets on fire when they reach mid season. You can see this in the last two seasons, cases exactly like this one. And once they start winning, they don’t stop and eventually win 2 Champions Leagues. So even if PSG starts the season badly, even in the first 3 league matches they haven’t managed to win, don’t ever underestimate PSG because they can bounce back and become an unbeatable team.

Should we be bother about Paris Saint Germain performance this season? It's too early and we both know the pattern of the club after all this years been managed by Luis Enrique. Les Parisiens always starts slow and in the mid season, they fasten up their seatbelt because they know it's going to be a long ride I'm confident PSG will win the Ligue One title this season because they have always won it without any doubt and what makes you think this year will be any different?

PSG are defending champion for both their domestic league and also the UEFEA Champions League, they have a big fight ahead to defend these titles and Luis Enrique is busy cooking and ranging his static force because he knows his oppositions will not take it lightly with him.

Yes, it was a bad start from PSG this season. I'm not sure what caused it, but PSG can still fix it as the season goes on. PSG are the most dominant team in Ligue 1 so far and they are the 2nd consecutive Champions League title winners in the last 2 seasons. They have great players and an experienced coach, so better performances will come in the next games.

But when it comes to trophy competition, I have no doubt PSG can end the season with a trophy even though they started the season poorly. For me, this kind of thing is already common with PSG. I agree that PSG usually perform well and consistently with victories, but this season is different. After all, it is the best condition for other teams if they want to lead the table for longer, but it is not easy for them to stay consistent. If PSG fail to defend the title this season, then of course it is a blessing for other teams, because PSG has won it in many consecutive seasons.

Paris Saint Germain Will start winning and the other teams will impress you with their failure later.
Three rounds are nothing and less than 15 - 20 goals difference, I will remain unsure about PSG losing the title.

By match day 25 PSG would have clinched the league.  This PSG current performance is not a new thing.  That's also how they started dropping in the Champions league, then when it gets to January of next year, that's when we will now see a completely different PSG. These Ligue 1 teams cant keep up winning consistently because they don't have a good squad depth. We saw how Lens was going band for band with PSG in the title race, until their players starts getting tired. For any team to win this title over PSG, they will need to make sure they win many games. For now, there's no team in the Ligue 1 that can dethrone PSG. Teams like Monaco, Marseille, Lille are not capable of doing that. European matches will also have an effect on these teams with weak squad depth. PSG can literally win multiple league games with second 11.

I watched the end of this match and it seemed like PSG would manage to come back and play their now-traditional 2-2 draw but this time it didn't work out. I think Luis Enrique is having a hard time motivating the PSG players as they've won everything they could in their country. but even after such poor performances in the first three matches PSG still remains the favorite to win the French championship. perhaps PSG will find better form in a month or two.

PSG is having the worst time in the league right now, not being able to secure a win in the past consecutive three games which is very unlike the French giants. Monaco had an unexpected comeback after a goal from Marquinhos, a late goal that got them the win.

Luis Enrique would have to convince the fans that they are still capable of winning the league trophy despite their starting form, it's very much possible that they get back to winning way in the next consecutive games, we would love to see the UCL winners back in action.
I was surprised to see Paris saint Germain in the position they are now in the Ligue 1 table that's unseen of them, they have 2 draws with a lose and no single win in their records i really think this is unbelievable.

Monaco got a big win on Friday night against Paris saint Germain at home initially i thought Paris saint Germain was going to win after Marquinhos score for Paris saint Germain in the first half, but As Monaco did a remarkable comeback in the second half to secure a 1-2 win against the french giants Paris saint Germain, but despite the poor start we can't still write them off as they are still the favorite team to win the Ligue 1 title again.

The fatigue from the World Cup won't last, though. Look, even after decades, Paris Saint-Germain players still haven't found their rhythm. They have a quality squad in France, but they've dropped points in every match they've played. Even in their draws, they only scored in the final minutes. Paris Saint-Germain has had a disappointing start to the season. Will they start the Champions League with points losses as well? They've kept most of last year's championship-winning squad this year. Despite this, we expected them to perform better, but they're performing worse. It's not a problem, but I think this is a temporary phase. They'll soon return to their former quality of play.

Paris Saint Germain is the best team there is in France, in any case it is not possible to understand why the team had such a difficult start to the season, and they even manage to draw a couple of games in the final minutes even if they deserved different results, and it is the only thing that saves them, who knows if we will see a change or how long this phase will last for the team.

I think the main reason should be found in the poor form of the team’s key players. Because if you look at the starting lineup, Dembélé and several other important players start this match on the bench and only come on in the middle of the second half. So it’s clear that the team is not in great shape right now, and they need some time to get back to their best.

But despite such a poor start and bad results, PSG aren’t actually playing that badly. Enrique has mentioned in his press conferences that this is simply a run of bad luck. In any case, I expect PSG to beat Brest in the next round, I think they’ve already made too many mistakes, and now they have no other option but to start winning.

The funny reality is that Monaco has maintained three winning streak for the season. PSG is the only club that has scored against them and yet Monaco still took their lead.
I could already guess Monaco's attack would be little stronger this season with addition of Ansu Fati and Abline. But I did not think that the club's target would be Ligue 1 title this season. Monaco made an incredible start. They showed their strength by defeating champions PSG. imo, they will become worthy contender for Ligue 1 title this season.

Quote
PSG start for the season is abnormal, I believe the change we have always wanted in Ligue 1 is about to take place. We are at the beginning of the season but the fact Monaco has won their first leg against PSG is a huge edge for them to maintain their spot till the end of the first half of the season. It is going to be an interesting season and a new start for Ligue 1 as we see a new table structure.
I don't remember last time I saw such terrible start to PSG's season. Season has started 3 weeks, and they have not yet seen any single win. But I am bound to say that PSG's players have dominated all three matches. That is why I believe PSG will make comeback very soon. Luis Enrique is very clever manager. He is determined to win Ligue 1 title anyway.

Every one talks about PSG,  Monaco and Marseille but nobody talks about Paris FC who was promoted to League 1 last season and how they have fought to remain in this top tier. Liam Rosenior remains unbeaten after three fixtures in league one. I was not surprised he would leave with a point yesterday night because even against Roberto De Zerbi's Marseille, he was fortunate to win one of the fixtures and also share points in the following fixture ( Strasbourg ). Gladdens me to see him thriving with Paris FC after a disastrous short time and campaign he had with Chelsea. Next up should be against Lyon, they share the same points and goals conceded, it could result in a narrow low xg type of games.

Paris fc is the surprise team from Ligue one last season, which remained in the most important league in the country without struggling too much, spent a season playing good football and being overall convincing, this year after making various improvements they could even do better..

Paris Saint German have won the league for five consecutive seasons which is remarkable for the club, adding 2 Champions league trophies to the chart too, so I understand when people still believe that it's just a phase that will pass and we should be seeing a different result soon.

Monaco is the only team to secure 9 points in the first three consecutive games, it's not really what we expected but its still too early to make conclusions. Paris Saint German still remain the biggest in the league, there is enough time for them to prove that to the world.

I think the French league 1 is just beginning, and when league starts a fresh their could be sometime some irregularities, instabilities even among the top teams. Like you said team like Paris Saint German has won the French league 1 in consecutive seasons, even though they have other strong contenders like, Monaco, Olympique Massiel Lille etc, but Paris Saint German remains the best team in their league for now. This very season, I understand that people are watching them with very high expectations, and it seems they are not meeting up with people's expectations in this beginning of French league 1, however I believe they still have the right squard that can make them win the French league 1 gain despite how they have started the season, and I equally believe they could stabilize as the league progresses

It is not just about the expectations from PSG but the wasted odds and stakes  bettors face due to their poor performance. If it was inconsistency it would have been well understood but in this case they haven't won any match this season having played 3 games. What should we expect in their next game against Brest, another draw or another loss to balance the number of loses and draws.

Like you said team like Paris Saint German has won the French league 1 in consecutive seasons, even though they have other strong contenders like, Monaco, Olympique Massiel Lille etc, but Paris Saint German remains the best team in their league for now. This very season, I understand that people are watching them with very high expectations, and it seems they are not meeting up with people's expectations in this beginning of French league 1, however I believe they still have the right squard that can make them win the French league 1 gain despite how they have started the season, and I equally believe they could stabilize as the league progresses
.

A bad start for PSG, this really shouldn't have happened. It seems like they still feel comfortable and aren't fighting hard to win. Two consecutive UCL trophies have made them feel even stronger, and that has become a real killer for themselves. Right now they're in 12th place, and this seems like the worst start since they became a French giant. I don't understand how they play, but the results are disappointing for all the fans. If Enrique still can't manage this situation, they might just keep getting bad results. Despite that, I read in a lot of media outlets that the Ballon D'or nominations are dominated by PSG players, followed by Arsenal and Bayern Munich.

After winning the Champions League for two consecutive seasons and Ligue 1 for five seasons, PSG may have lost their form. Although it may seem premature to say so, I would say that they will not do very well in the Champions League this season. I cannot say anything about the French league right now, it is not because of their form or their ability to come back. Rather, it is because of the inability of the competing teams, if there was a worthy opponent, it would have been almost impossible for PSG to win the championship this season. Basically, PSG is successful in Ligue 1 because there is no worthy opponent, no team to challenge.

In the first three matches, I have questions about the discipline of their team, questions about the balance in the attack line. However, we have to trust Luis Enrique. He is already a successful coach of PSG, maybe he will make a comeback. But I hope that comeback will not be too late.

This is not the first time that PSG have been in such a situation. They have not always topped the French League from the beginning until the win it. Last season Lens was on top of the table for some time until they began to drop points. The difference between other French club with PSG is that they have more money to spend. As the league progresses, there will be injuries and other uncertainties. When a club doesn't have sufficient players to cover for these lapses, their performance will begin to drop. This was the case for Lens next season. I will take discipline, luck, and fewer injuries for Monaco to continue topping the league till the end of the season.

Lens did not collapse. That is not what happened at all. That season they went to an insane 84 points. PSG defeated them by one point. 1 point after 38 games. How does this turn into a Lens disintegrates in December story? I do not know how that story made it that far.

Do I think PSG will eventually turn it around? Yeah, probably. Not as a result of some mid-season "awakening" that they mention. It is more that they just completely rebuilt their attack this summer. And the new guys have not had time to actually learn each other.

Torres is brand new. He scored twice on his debut. Made his late appearance and rescued PSG from despair at Rennes. Then had a goal ruled out against Monaco in the last minute. And Enrique is still making the rookie start 60 minutes late each game. That one really makes my head explode.

The bigger problem is the gap right now is seven points. It is possible for PSG to come back. PSG bouncing back AND Monaco conveniently crumbling? That requires the right two things to occur simultaneously.

I wouldn't worry about PSG if they hadn't already drawn two matches of the season. Their performance in the first two matches was very poor, fortunately they managed to avoid defeat. So their performance against Monaco still looks questionable. After watching the first 20 minutes of the game, I guess the match is going to be a 1-1 draw.
It seems your doubts were actually justified. But it wasn't a draw in the end; it was a painful defeat.

After the previous two matches, we might have thought that PSG simply needed some time to adapt to their new players. But after the third match and another disappointing result, I now realize that PSG seem as if they were not fully prepared for the new season.
The performance they had against Monaco, I don't think is sufficient to reflect how their whole season will turn out because it looked like Monaco was just the better team under the inspiration of a new coach who looks serious to make a name for himself in the French league after departing from the Brazilian league. I still strongly believe that PSG will be the team to win the French league no matter how successful Monaco Will play to be this season, Their best results will be qualifying for the Champions League and finishing at a very good position below PSG because such a team that already has a winning mentality we always find a way to bounce back in the season and go for the title and if Monaco lacks that's title winning mentality it will take a while to build and they will need to fight for it.

PSG needs to take the league seriously too, because their squad is strong enough to win both the Champions League and the league. I don't think these results in the early matches are surprising, because players' motivation can be low, and they know they have many opportunities to make up for lost points.

PSG has a very strong squad, and I don't think losing points early in the league will be a problem for the following weeks. Monaco needs to maintain this performance because beating PSG isn't easy, and keeping their performance at a high level and continuing like this in their subsequent matches will be very beneficial for them.

Indeed, Monaco needs to find consistency and maintain the top spot if they want to win the title. They must capitalize on the points Paris Saint-Germain dropped early in the season. They have arguably enjoyed their most advantageous start to a league campaign in years; not only have they been winning, but Paris Saint-Germain has failed to secure a victory in their first three matches. Given that Paris Saint-Germain usually dominates the French league, things could play out differently for Monaco this year, and they may well have a strong chance.
