even though psg started the season with only two wins in their first five games and faces strong competition, they are by far the clear favorite in the title race. we can see that they're not really taking the league seriously right now, but we also know how well they play when the title really matters toward the end of the season. i can say i have no doubt they'll win the championship. i think they'll keep playing this way for a few more weeks at most, and then they'll close the gap and take the lead.

Paris Saint-Germain got off to a very bad start, but i have to say they can keep going, and the championship is still long, given their undoubted quality.
Personally i think that even though they are so far from the top, i think they can easily win the league, I'm more than certain of it. Another championship they won't be able to win is the UEFA Champions League. At the moment, they have a very negative outlook, not to finish bottom of the table, but to win. This season will go badly for them.

Why do you seem so doubtful about PSG winning the UCL? I would like to hear your explanation because I am curious.

As for me, for now, I do not see any reason to doubt PSG in either the UCL or domestic competitions. Even if PSG are in the top 10 or even lower in the domestic league, they eventually work their way up to the top as the season progresses. This is not the first time PSG have gone through this.

And in the UCL, PSG were also doubted in the previous two seasons, but look at what Enrique's team managed to achieve. So, for me, doubting PSG at this point does not make much sense.

Even if Enrique wanted to focus more on the Champions League, I think that would only make sense if he were confident that everything was under control in Ligue 1 and that they had a significant advantage over the other teams. But since their position in Ligue 1 is not that strong, they will now have to give equal attention to both Ligue 1 and the Champions League. Or if they continue to lose points in Ligue 1 and the gap between them and Monaco becomes too large, then I think Enrique might eventually decide to focus more on the Champions League.

The Champions League this year is much more difficult than all the other years, there are teams that have wanted to return for years and i think they will do it this year, like Bayern Munich who i think are one of the best teams of all and this year if they take on Paris Saint-Germain they will split them in two, they are clearly superior.
Then the fact that some strong teams have weakened and other average teams have become stronger (like Roma) puts many teams on the same level.

I don't think it would be right to say, at this stage, that the season will go poorly for them. We are still at the beginning of the league campaign, and there are plenty of matches left to play. Yes, they have dropped more points than expected so far, but Paris Saint-Germain is a team capable of recovering from this. They can turn the situation around and climb back toward the top by stringing together consecutive wins. Furthermore, I believe they are capable of winning the Champions League. Do not underestimate Paris Saint-Germain.

This is the plan of Luis Enrique, they're always having a slow start when season kick off. PSG have build a team that will be having consecutive winnings and knowing how to pull up with outstanding performances and having the available players.

The potential of this team is always better, in the French championship they are clearly the best, and the standings do not do justice to this team which is really strong, and everyone knows it in the French championship, now they just have to wait for the individual performances of the players who are really strong.

It’s hard to argue with that. Enrique is gearing the entire team up for the Champions League knockout stage, and the way they are playing right now has little bearing on their potential peak shape. But if we talk about pure mathematics, then I would say that there is at least Bayern, which has an equal chance with PSG, + a large group of clubs that can punish any opponent in two games. So, even though PSG are the favorites, their chances of winning another Champions League title are probably somewhere around 20%.

PSG are clearly the best in the French League but I'm anticipating more drama before they begin their journey back to the top. The French championship has been dominated by them consistently and a change in dominance will be nice to have this season. I wish AS Monaco had the strength to hold on to their position till the end of season but unfortunately I don't think they have what it takes even with PSG's inconsistency.

PSG are a very good side, they have won the  champions league back to back now, and that shows how good they are as a team. Their solidity is unquestionable. Their league is one they can always win with ease, one doesn't have to have any doubt about them on that one, but one thing I will be looking forward to seeing this season is if they can win the champions league again. They defeated Arsenal the last time on penalties, but I will be so much surprised if other teams allow them to win the champions league for the third consecutive time in a row.
 According to PSG, winning their league is not always a major achievement to them since their league is more easier for them to win, but winning the champions league is where they can be proud.
