French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1)

Messi has left PSG, Neymar has left, Ramos has left, Mbappe has left this season and I still consider this team to be one of the favorites in Ligue 1. So far, there is no team in this league that can overtake PSG in the title race. As in other seasons, next season too PSG will be at the top of the points table and they will secure the France League title. 

Several players left PSG but we feel like maybe PSG will not plan any more with their team but they will definitely plan with the team. Earlier they used to build teams without thinking but now they think twice before making a deal because their club now has a quality manager. 
Looking forward to a big deal from PSG, the deal will be a successful one.

Yes, it seems that PSG will no longer make a breakthrough by bringing in a number of big players like the last few seasons. PSG is still the favorite in League 1 and it seems difficult to compete with them even though they no longer have a player as great as Mbappe. Luis Enrique will also be more free to manage the team because there is no longer major intervention in the team like when Mbappe was still there.

PSG may be considering the FFP rules in terms of player purchases so far they have been too reckless in recruiting expensive players without thinking about the side effects that will occur if they continue to violate the rules which will ultimately harm them, PSG has spent more than 100 million euros in bringing in 3 players so far and it seems they will not add more expensive players, they even seem not to bring in Victor Oshimen this summer even though negotiations are still ongoing until now.

I am quite curious about PSG's appearance next season whether they are still the strongest in league 1 or not I think they will have a little difficulty because they no longer have players who contribute greatly like Mbappe.

The fact that they didn't get any money from the Mbappe deal was probably a big shock to them. I think they are no longer eager to find top stars. Finding a replacement for Mbappe will not be easy. Of course, they are still the strongest team in Ligue 1. But the Champions League is getting further and further away from them. Maybe they will have to give up their dream of conquering the Champions League.

This season started without striker Mbappe, you will see how influential he is for PSG. Marseille a realized that without Mabppe, this would be the first season where PSG looks a little weaker and they are really doing all they can right now, they are getting as many players as they can to get that one title. They are aware that they can't keep getting titles, PSG has unlimited levels of money, and they will make the team good enough, and probably will win this year too.

However, at the very least Marseille hopes that this season they could get the win, if they get the title this season, all this money will be worth it because they can then sell many players as champions, making much more money, that's important situation. I believe that we are going to deal with a great situation when this ends, we just need to pay this team close look. If they do fine, I can see them win it all.

Marseille has new face now because next season they have new manager and some of new players and it's interesting to know how far they go in this competition under De Zerbi because if i am not mistaken this is his first experience to train the team from Ligue 1 and Marseille has a tradition although they cannot considers as strong contender for race title but they almost every season reach to top 4 and let see it later whether De Zerbi can realize this target or not

About PSG i think without Mbappe this team is still very strong they even strong candidate for the title just like we all now and for forward lines they still have Randal Kolo Muani or Goncalo Ramos which can be played as the striker to replace Mbappe position so i am sure even without Mbappe PSG most likely will gets Ligue 1 title again

I don't think it will happen, at least this season. Barcelona have surprisingly managed to bring in Dani Olmo from Leipzig. It seems like Barcelona are trying to build an Olmo-Yamal-Williams trident. They have already got two players. I don't know what their chances are of getting Nico Williams, but I'm sure PSG won't get Yamal because Barcelona won't let him go even if they want to break the record for the most expensive player purchase in history. Currently, none of the rumors regarding a new PSG striker have come true. Luis Enrique must know that they are losing their best player and it will affect their performance in the UCL. Because I'm sure PSG are still unbeatable in Ligue 1.
