Paris Saint Germain will go a long way in the champions League but don't think they will lift it again, it's impossible, they've got lots of competitions in that trophy, so I think last season was their season of grace, now they should focus more on their domestic league to dominate it like they have always do, but for the champions League no I don't really think they can.

I do not think it is "impossible". I also agree that they will not lift it again this season that part I can agree with, but just because I believe they are not going to do it, that doesn't mean you are going to be able to say that it is impossible for them. It is possible but a low chance for it to happen, and there is a big difference between low chance and impossible.

I mean it is obvious that we are going to see them have a lot more competition and that is why it is going to be a tough one, it's not going to be easy at all. We should be able to see this as something that is not going to happen that easily, so we should not consider it as something that will take a while for it to happen, it will be very different.

In today's game that were played in the French ligue 1 nice struggled to get a 1:0 win against Nantes this makes the second win for Nice in this season so far, With this win nice is temporarily on 9th place pending the outcome of games that will be played tomorrow.


Nantes has not gotten a good start to the season as they had only been able to win only one game out of the four games that they have played this season so far, this is not a good start as they are sitting deep down the table.

my gamble was for home team win both halves and they did. The early red card in the game made it much easier for the home team, in the first half they scored 3 goals and I almost thought I lost my bet because they second half hail didn’t come till the stoppage time. At the end the goal came and I won my bet.

I have not considered the game I will be gambling on today but seeing your game I think it a good selection so I think I would gamble on the same games too, I hope it wins.

Monaco started the league strongly so I feel they would win Auxerre easily today. Well on the nice match I’m not quite sure about them but I feel you’ve done your research so I would gamble on them too.

Lol, we are going from bigger to lower. He bet on 2.5 over, and won, you bet on both halves and won, and I bet just Marseille to win and won. In the end, it was obvious that Marseille was the better team and unless something major happens, we wouldn't see a huge deal, so it's normal for us to have something like this.

Nothing unexpected happened, so it's quite obvious that we are going to end up with anything that is lower and having some issues so it's not really that complicated to see this be the problem. I do believe that betting on Marseille was the smart choice, but 2.5 over was a risky move, it definitely deserved the odds that he won, maybe even more. He could have won even if it was 3.5 goals, think about that.

Congratulations on winning your bet. Just like you predicted Monaco won their match and Nice were able to win the game but by a narrow margin. I think if you want to win a game you have to win it convincingly because on few occasions Nantes came close to getting an equalizer but were not lucky enough.

It's normal for depending Champions to be pressured by the general football fans nor to talk of the Champions League defending Champions, Ofcourse all eyes would be on them to see if they'll replicate similar performance of the previous season although I don't expect they'll, maybe they could reach the Quatar finals or Semi's but lifting the trophy again, I doubt.

 If it's in their domestic league competitions, I don't thnk they'll be missed but they'll definitely be missed in the Champions League, those players played a major role in PSG having their best Champions League season and it's quite unfortunate that they won't be available to do similar thing in the beginning of this season Champions League tournament but as for Lens, PSG would scale through.

Sure you're right I'm not really concerned about the French ligue 1, because they're gonna win it definitely no team can come close, even if there's injury there's still a possibility that they will win it, my major concern is the champions League if they can defend it, I know it's not easy but at least Real Madrid did it, so they can, now Dembele is injured and the champions League game is in few days after the league games, I'm just kind of worried for them, like it will certainly please me to see them lift the champions League for the second time, it almost seems impossible but it is possible if they should put to work.

As the champion team, PSG will have to keep their ears open from all sides because we can see that all competitors are coming forward to dethrone them. Especially since the PL teams were the most embarrassed by this team in the last UCL, the PL teams have established themselves as an source of strategy in this transfer summer. To be honest the Parisians have no reason to worry about their domestic league but just as the Champions League is knocking on their door, two of their best players have been plagued by injuries so I think that without these two guys, their march as the defending champion team is likely to be disrupted even though their first match is against a somewhat weaker team. Even then, these two boys might miss PSG's new UCL match so maybe their attack level could decrease against Atlanta.

PSG has two titles to defend and their coach is a good manager who understands how to manage his players to avoid certain injuries that may affect their performance and make them no to compete in the tournament very well this season, defending the league title will not be mush difficult for PSG but they need to be more than good to be able to repeat what they did last season. PSG today faced one of the strongest opponents of Ligue 1, Lens. Although the season started with a defeat, Lens won their last two matches against Brest and Le Havre. Lens' performance was good in both matches.

PSG is playing today  without two important players in their squad, Dembele and Doue. These two are out of the squad due to injury. Despite the absence of two such important players in the squad, PSG's performance is strong today. This proves once again that Luis Enrique's squad is not dependent on any specific  player. This is their biggest strength.

After 70 minutes, psg  is leading 2 - 0. Both goals were scored by Barcola and assisted by Vitinha. PSG is unlikely to lose points in this match. However, better performances were expected from Ramos and Kvaratskhelia

Lens is no longer the team from 2022 when they managed to give PSG a fight for the title till the last round, the real test is Marseille, the next round, a match between two CL rounds, that would be something that would show if there are any cracks in the team, but I doubt it.
PSG was 1.33 with Lens, 1.9 with Marseille, a completely different setup.

But still, even if they fail to win every single game, the Ligue 1 is still a one-team league, it's PSG and the rest scrambling for a bit of fame when PSG does a wrong step.

I expected that lens should have scored a goal in this game but the PSG defense was too tough for them even though they had some few good chances in the game.

Monaco and Nantes wins felt like a bit of a lucky break. Like you said, Nantes had a few solid chances and almost got on the scoresheet. Luckily for Nice, they tightened up their defense in the second half and managed to hold on for the win.

As for Monaco, if the Auxerre defender hadn’t been sent off, that probably would’ve ended in a draw. But luck was on their side, they grabbed a late goal in the 89th minute to seal the win.

It was not an easy one for them but they made it count by getting all three points in the end, this is why I do say that we cannot outrightly put away the fact they some levels of competition exists in the Ligue only that the dominance PSG does enjoy is very much pronounced and so is always noticed but they do have some tough challenges they do face in the Ligue 1 some times just like this.

We really appreciate how Enrique manages this club, even though several of his starting line-ups have been injured. Fortunately, this was a Ligue 1 match, where PSG dominated, but Lens wasn't a particularly easy opponent. Still, PSG was stronger.

Barcelona was truly amazing. He was even a starting eleven before, and his contribution was quite good. So far in Ligue 1, with 3 goals and 1 assist, he's been a very good player. And in this match, both of PSG's winning goals came from Barcelona.

It could be that they may not win the champions league again because is going to be hard to win the title and still go back to defend but they still have to try to get close to the semis or quarter finals like you said, you know they can't do it or get that far if they still have injury players who we all know are the reason or are the same guys that played a major role in them getting to where they are now as champions of Europe.

If Dembele and Desire Doue return sooner and are able to play well, PSG chances of retaining the trophy are still quite high. Those two players will likely only miss three or four League Phase matches, and after that, Luis Enrique will have his ideal squad back. Actually, Luis Enrique doesn't lack rotation options for the front line, it's just that their quality isn't the same as Dembele and Desire Doue.

So far, Luis Enrique doesn't seem worried about the pressure in Ligue 1, PSG will remain consistent even when relying on second string players. Everything is clear on the league table, PSG has secured full points in every match. PSG will start their Champions League journey by facing Atalanta, which I think will be an easy match to win.
