Last year, PSG also had a difficult start to the season, and if you remember, they played very poorly in the Champions League, and at one point there was a danger they wouldn't even make the top 24. That is, they could have left the tournament after the group stage. But then, when it mattered most, they showed strength and dominated; for many years, no one had won the Champions League in such a style. Overall, it is unknown whether this could happen again; many teams have strengthened, and it is still too early to say.

They literally got into the top 24 on the last game, so yeah it's always a team that gets better with time. Plus, they are missing Dembele and Doue right now and I feel like there is a potential chance they could end up with nothing bad even without those players, so it's clear that we are going to end up with some great results. If we can see that, then it is not going to be too bad, it's going to be quite good for them.

If we can do that, then we are going to end up with something that will give them a chance to do better. We should of course focus on how to get better returns, and for that reason we are not going to end up with great returns for the time being, if we do that, then everything will be much greater for them.

PSG has not made any changes to their squad. They played with the same squad last season. Considering the squad, PSG's squad this season cannot be called stronger than last season. But it cannot be denied that the bonding between PSG players is very strong now. Like last season, there is a big possibility that this season too we will see stable gameplay from PSG. Especially in the Champions League matches, PSG will definitely give their full effort. PSG will try to win the title this season too. But it will be very difficult to win this Champions League title by competing with Liverpool, Madrid and Barcelona.

But it's still early in the season, the competition is still going on, and we'll see if the competing teams can be consistent.

Last season, they won the Champions League title as easily as they did last season, but this season it will not be that easy for them to win the Champions League title. Last season, they defeated Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Real Madrid and reached the Champions League final. Similarly, if they have a challenge to perform against these three teams this season, then I would say that this challenge will definitely be difficult for them. Bayern Munich has changed a lot in their team and this season they are ready to perform well in the Champions League. Liverpool has sold some players and added some new players to the club, as a result of which we can understand from their performance in the Premier League that their performance has changed a lot, so it will be difficult for PSG to beat Liverpool. This match also showcased Marseille's solid defense, making it difficult for PSG to penetrate their defense and score goals. We need another Marseille in this league to make the competition more interesting, and PSG themselves won't have an easy time winning the Ligue 1 trophy.

Not been able to beat PSG I think was not the argument but it occurrence not been as frequent actually was, there is no way we would completely presume that in all circumstances no team in the Ligue will be able to beat PSG, that will be false. Even after the loss, if you check the table, the point difference is not much, it is such that a single match alone can clear the difference so this in no way affects PSG's dominance, it is very much temporary. Marseille in my taughts were just lucky that day because PSG had some very vital and key players absent.

Marseille defeated PSG, and we'll have to wait and see where they end up at the end of the season, as well as the teams that will defeat them and drop points.

I mean congratulations to Marseille but I am sceptical about them returning to their previous good form, it looks to me like a lucky shot that is hard to be repeated in the next time facing PSG in Ligue 1 or even against another top team. Time will tell

Marseille handed PSG their first defeat of the season, well maybe the match being postponed had a huge effect on this game. The match was suppose to be played on 21 then later on moved to 22 which was the day the ballon D’or ceremony will be held so I feel most PSG players lost concentration in that game. Well as a football player it no excuse but I have feeling it contributed.

Marseille benefited from an own goal from the captain Marquinhos, they held on to that lead till the very end of the match, PSG could have scored, PSG should have scored but they were very unlucky and it cost them all 3 points. They are now level with Monaco, Lyon and Strassborg  on 12 points, it going to be a very interesting season I promise you.

I think there's no doubt that Paris Saint-Germain has a much better record than Auxerre, who are currently not a worthy opponent.
But even if this match ends in a PSG victory, I will commend Auxerre's confident performance, launching several attacks, even though they always failed. This confidence from the Auxerre players is worthy of praise, even though they knew they would lose, but their spirit didn't let them back down.

To be fair, Ligue 1 is getting more top heavy and that is very fun. Did not realize PSG already lost a game, but that is fun because it gives the league some more entertainment and excitement. I hope that it gets better with time, and we will end up seeing them do a fine job.

It's clear that we are not going to see that much, it's not going to be that great, but it is going to be what it is. It is not amazing for any of us to have this kind of return, but it's also good for the league because it's giving us a chance to have these good returns. Betting becomes much more fun when every team at the top is so close to each other. When it's just one team, then everyone else starts to be not that great, and causes issues for the long term.

PSG lost their first game of the season against Marseille and that never stopped them from going into this encounter against Auxerre and they won by 2 goals to nil. It seems to be a better result but let's face it, PSG are becoming slow in getting the job done these days and we know how well they can dominate the game especially against smaller side.
The visitors were all over the champions to get a goal but it didn't happen and it proves that the champions PSG are better in that defensive department in this encounter but I somehow think this very squad that Enrique is using are not up to speed and they are not pushing too hard to make their opponent to respect them, is PSG still the PSG we used to know that won the UCL or is this a new chapter of them trying to start slow?

you are not being worried because you trust PSG to always come back to dominate the Ligue1 even if it will take some time to achieve it but definitely they will still end up gaping the other teams in the league to win the league trophy. For the champions League PSG will have to defend it they may other teams that are challenging them they need to put in more work and efforts if they want to repeat the the same success they achieved last season, it's not going to be easy seeing the level of progress and improvement in the other teams it will take a PSG to be extra lucky for them to retain the champions League title.

I also think that if only there were a few other teams like Marseille, Ligue 1 would be very competitive, with trophies being won every season, although ultimately, it will go to the most consistent team like PSG. However, when the competition in the league starts to get tougher, it will certainly pique the curiosity of many fans, making Ligue 1 less boring to watch from the start of the season to the end. Because I also really want to see fiercer competition in Ligue 1 every season, even though that is like a dream that cannot come true in Ligue 1 now.

Yeah, beating PSG gives teams a feeling of greatness, if you can beat PSG then you can beat anyone. That is the way it looks right now and we can definitely end up with a much better understanding of the situation. If we deal with this, then we are not going to end up with bad results at all. It's crazy good for all of us, and we are going to end up with some great results for all of us, it's definitely a good one.

So focus on what kind of return we are going to get on this, and you should be fine. Marseille got that boost, so we should take advantage of the situation by betting on them to win, it would have worked for this one, and I am sure that it will work out well for a few more games because this morale boost will not be gone right away.

Paris saints Germain remains the most inform team in the world,I don't think they would have problems securing 3 points against Barcelona. Barcelona may be the favorite in Spain but facing the defending Chiampions of the world is a different level of Game entirely. This clash would be entirely intense and interesting to watch. Paris saints Germain will be coming prepared to challenge Barcelona at Camp Nou. Barcelona wouldn't want to be defeated at camp Nou just like previous times and will worked with past experience to defend against PSG.

In my humble opinion, PSG will take home the cup again this season, there's no way around it.
As a team, it remains very strong even if it can sometimes have some slip-ups, which is normal, but in any case it promises to be difficult and strong for all the others to face.

If the other teams try really hard, I believe they have a good chance of winning the title, but unfortunately, that won't happen anytime soon, because the other Ligue 1 teams don't prepare their squads with the goal of fighting for the title, because they see it as a financial expense that isn't very profitable compared to just focusing on finishing in the Champions League qualifying spots and selling players for very high prices. As long as these other clubs have this mentality, they will never be able to be a worthy opponent to PSG in the fight for the title.


For some reason unknown to me, in the last few days I've been very unlucky when betting, the goals have been coming in just when the game was about to end, for example in this game, I bet on Nice's victory, when it reached the 85th minute I even stopped watching the game thinking that Nice would win.



Now I see they are draw, I lost my bet. Nice this season they are not doing well

This French ligue 1 is just competitive for the average teams in the league which made the teams not consistent in their performances you will see a team did absolutely well this season then the next season you will wonder if it's that same team so I'm not much surprise when an unexpected team came up to be title contenders which they can't win I always sees it as a normal thing in the league, apart from Paris Saint Germain every other teams in that league is not relevant to me, because after the very season you won't be able to recognize them the next season.

Without discrediting the other teams, PSG is a machine, it is the only team in Ligue 1 that is worth watching, watching the other teams' games makes me sleepy, I don't know, but I have tried to watch them and they bore me, of course it is not a bad thing but they do not have the mobility that PSG has, I think that even the teams in Ligue 1 with the exception of PSG need to improve a lot.

PSG had 4 important injuries like Dembele, Doue, Neves and Marquinhos. But this still didn't change anything against Auxerre at home.    A comfortable 2-0 win it was...

However they will feel the absence of these players in their upcoming Champions League game... It is against Barcelona away. Kvara can't carry the team by himself in the attacking line. It is a really tough game you know.

Barcelona also seem to be facing serious injury problems today though but I don't know how many of them will be out in that game.
