Damn broo! Reading that post got me smiling,  because how can he be so accurate?! I have a thing for full-time draw games but how did I not think about that outcome? Well, i must have underestimated them ahead of this fixture because in the last five fixtures at home, they have just lost a game to Lyon. PSG still leads but they better buckle up,  De Zebri seems ambitious this season. Kylian Mbappe and Leny Yoro were present during that game tooo. Leny Yoro to support Lillie and Mbappe both his brother and ex team. Who else loved that Nuno Mendes free kick?!

De Zerbi is very ambitious and often very hot-tempered because of it. And he doesn't achieve his best performance with every team, but it seems to be going well with Marseille. Beating PSG is very good, even considering PSG has a lot of injured players, and perhaps that was the reason. But I don't think Marseille will be able to compete on equal terms with PSG for long, as soon as their players recover from injuries, they will dominate again. And teams coached by De Zerbi have often been inconsistent, so it's not worth rushing to conclusions about how good Marseille are now.

Ansu Fati's move to Monaco might bring a little regret to Flick. Currently, Ansu Fati's statistics are very good; in 5 league and UCL matches, he has scored 6 goals. Monaco pays half of Ansu's salary of €16 million and, at the end of the season, has a purchase option of €11 million. If Ansu Fati's performance at Monaco continues to improve, it seems they are ready to bring him back next winter. But Barcelona would have to pay €25 million to get him back.

After the seventh matchday, Paris Saint-Germain remains at the top of the table, but they're only one point behind the second, third, and fourth-placed teams. Therefore, any loss of points could mean their fall from the top. They're focusing on the Champions League and entering the French league with a rotating squad. If this squad starts dropping points in the French league, they might lose the French league this year, and that would surprise me more than Bayern Munich losing the Bundesliga.

Yes, it's true, Paris Saint-Germain is practically the French champion again without even playing, they don't have a decent opponent and the teams can't compete with the purchases they can afford, I think this doesn't help the French championship which will sink further and further.

I am expecting an entire different season in the League1 this season because I am tried of seeing PSG winning the title back to back without even given any team chance to complete, and in most season, they seems not to have strong opposition to stop them or give them tough competition that’s why they do win the league with more than five matches but to be played; but I am expecting this season to be different because Marseille, Strasbourg, Lyon, and Monaco are all looking like a team to rely on whenever they are playing against PSG since they started this season really well. But we can’t rely on them till half season to see how far they can go because of fatigue and injuries since most of these teams don’t have squad depth.

This was the first match in this new season where the defending champions shared points but looking at their line-up in this match, it seems like they may have participated in this match to warm up, as most of their team's topnotch players were absent. But in this match, Paris Saint-Germain's Nuno Mendes was able to turn the situation in his favor again, because we saw this player score a goal against Lille with a shot from 25 yards out. Moreover this player was able to create a similar situation against Barcelona in the new season of the UEFA Champions League because his offensive speed was not lacking in that match either.

I agree with you that Paris Saint Germaine usually struggles at the beginning of the season in the French league before they'll finally return to the peak of their form. It usually leaves the impression that they'll probably not retain the title again but at the end, you'll still see them going all the way to win it.
Marseille have unarguably been the best performing team in the league this campaign but do they have all it takes to remain that consistent till the end of the season? I strongly don't doubt. In as much as I'll want to see a new winner other than PSG, I doubt that PSG with the current squad and manager will fail to win the league this season.

It will take something extraordinary to stop PSG from winning the league title. This is not the first time we are seeing other clubs in the ligue 1 showing potential for title contenders at the early stage of the season as Marseille are doing this season, but at the middle of the season they fade and PSG always go ahead to win the title. I am not expecting that to change this season, Marseille are having a great start to the season but somewhere along the line injuries will set in their team and they drop points.

I'm just doing my catching up with French league results for the weekend and can't say I'm not surprised by PSG splitting points with Lille.
Lille is a solid team, but not at the same level as PSG.
PSG had a few really good scoring chances, but they couldn't get it from play and only scored one from a free kick. Then they got relaxed and allowed young Mbappe to equalise for Lille, while his older brother celebrated from stands.

Marseille didn't waste the opportunity and they closed the distance to PSG to only one point and so did Strasbourg. But their opponents were not much of a challange.
Who knows, maybe we're going to see some excitement in this season after all and maybe the championship is not yet decided.

Paris Saint-Germain haven't won the automatic ticket to the UEFA Champions League final simply because they beat Barcelona in Spain. We're looking at the competitive sides Les Parisiens will face if they're competent to hold on these oppositions. PSG are UCL reigning Champions no doubt but I'm not really convinced about Paris Saint-Germain winning the UEFA Champions League trophy again this season. Even PSG manager, Luis Enrique knows this and he won't stop for a second to underestimate any opposition, he don't take any of them kindly and with fierce performance.

Barcelona are humbled already and its just business for Hansi Flick to fixed his team especially the highline and pressing patterns. Barcelona needs to do better if they're desperate for a major trophy this season or they will have to welcome inferiority.

PSG are already the dominant team of Ligue 1, we all know that. So, even though presently some other teams are trying so hard to meet up to their points in the table, it’s not a challenge to them. Because later in the mid-season or towards the end of the season, they will not be able to meet up to PSG anymore. And for the Champions League, the pressure is different from that of the domestic league, which will be a bit harder for PSG. But I know they will find their way, even if they don’t end up being the winners of the trophy this season.
