PSG has a lot of potential this season, and from all indications, there is no sign of weakness from the team. They will go a long way in the Champions League this season because they are one of the favourite teams to win the trophy. Even though I know it will be a bit hard for them as well, that game against Barcelona was not what we all expected to see. We thought they wouldn’t make it, as their squad was not complete, but they showed us that they are capable and strong. Even if their full squad were present, then the story would have been wild.

At the time, there is no sign of weakness in reality and somehow on papers, we are just hoping they have this same strength and maintain this form the season long, that way we can be sure to a very good extent the much they can achieve this season but if they are unable to maintain the form well enough  they will eventually only achieve  that within which  their  strength did permitted them to this season but we can be very sure they will not end this season without a trophy.

PSG does dominate, but I hope Marseille can be consistent enough to be a contender this season.

So far, Strasbourg has surprised me a lot because they're currently in third place. They've signed some young players. I don't know if they're playing because I haven't had time to watch a Strasbourg match against a Ligue 1 team. But I confess that I didn't expect that after seven Ligue 1 matches, they'd remain in third place. Maybe they'll finish in the European competition qualifying position. Lyon is also starting well; I believe they'll fight for European competition spots. Lille also has potential, but they've performed poorly in their last three matches.

You do realize Monaco has played 4 games against the 6 last placed teams in Ligue1 ,right, when you talk about performance, right?
They won against Le Havre (14), Auxerre (16), Metz (last), and were defeated by Lorient (13) ?
A it unfair comparing it to the matches Lille had, a draw with PSG and beating Monaco among others!

2 and 3 are in line with what I think, even though Monaco is currently less convincing in some matches, they have very good goal productivity, and if their defensive problems are resolved as soon as possible, I have no doubt that they can finish in second place and even compete closely with PSG for the top spot.

Considering last year was VASTLY different than other years, we can safely say that they are a different breed of team now. Until last year we were dealing with a much better team on paper and superstars, but last year they realized that is not the way to get better, and they opted to stay as a big team that had no stars but 11 great players instead. Look at how they did with Donnaruma, the moment someone wanted to shine brighter than others, they sent him away.

Even Dembele, who won Ballon D'or, doesn't question his place in the team, and doesn't act as a leader or the best player. You will have hard time beating a team like that and I am sure that they be a great threat to any team they will face this season as well.

Yeah, Louis Enrique even talked about it exactly like this. He mentioned that when they lost Mbappe, it was the best thing that could happen because that gave them a chance to be a team.

Before this year, they had to cater to a superstar, which meant that if you do not give him the ball enough, it's a problem, he would be upset, and he would be right too in a way, look at him at Real Madrid, dude scored the most goals anyone has ever scored on their debut season for a team like Real Madrid, that is a huge achievement, but what did they won? Nothing.

Sometimes personal stats can get in the way of a teams success, and that is why PSG became much better when they didn't had that great player, because they had many good ones instead.

I think you are right about PSG finishing first but about the second and third I don’t think it will end like that. Marseille are that kind of team that you can’t even bank on the team that they going to win, and Monaco looks more promising especially now that they have in form Ansu fati, they just need to keep him fit.

Then all I have to say to you about Strassborg is you need is you need to watch them, they are a very good side and they might even finish 2nd or 3rd and I won’t be surprised about it. They are still underrated by most people but they are very good.

Strasbourg, Olympique Marseille, ASC Monaco, and Lille all started the season really well, they look promising this season if they can maintain their performance for long because this is exactly what PSG needs in this league; a team that will compete with them to challenge them for the title; but fatigue and inexperience do end up affecting these average teams along the line, and that’s the opportunity PSG has been using to win the title every season for almost ten years now.

Your arrangement went well on how these teams will finish at the end of the season, but I wish one of these teams will win the league this time.

I have different choices PSG to win first place, Marseille to finish second, and Lyon to finish third.
Strasbourg, as usual, starts the season well, but usually begins to decline halfway through. I've seen Strasbourg play against several Ligue 1 clubs. They look good, but only against weaker clubs. But when they face better clubs like Marseille and Monaco, they haven't been able to beat those big clubs.
So, I don't believe Strasbourg will finish in the top three

This season, I'm confident that both Monaco and lyon will be ready to enliven the title race. While monaco may have dropped points with two losses and a draw, other teams have also performed poorly recently, so the points gap isn't that far apart. Lyon, on the other hand, already has confidence due to their improved performance compared to the previous season.

In Ligue 1, it's very difficult to break PSG dominance, but there will come a time when other teams will experience the glory, as happened in the bundesliga two seasons ago. When Bayern munich lost their way, other teams had a chance to become champions. So, both marseille and lyon have a chance to win the title, provided PSG performs poorly this season.

Let's say that Paris Saint Germain is now dominating both here and in Europe, no team they have faced has the necessary requirements to beat them, in fact i still can't explain how they managed to lose against Chelsea, i don't understand it as an ignorant person like me.

The great thing they have gained this season is that last year they won UCL, so they know that if they do everything right, like Enrique asks them, then they are going to win. That confidence is not something you can buy with money, they tried that before but the whole team lacked the confidence in Europe.

It's easy to win Ligue 1 for them, it is not really a task even, they just go out and play and win, it's been like that for a decade now so it is not going to change suddenly. What changed was UEFA, because in champions league they are doing much better thanks to that confidence. Even in group stages of last season they were bad, and they were afraid of not even being in top 24, they got in at the very last minute, but they managed to get a title out of it.

The most important players of PSG squad Dembele and Doue  are injured. Even then we can see a good performance from psg . PSG's performance was stable even against big teams like barcelona and they won. PSG is also in possession of the top spot of Ligue 1 table. PSG will make utmost efforts to win the champions league title this season too. If all of PSG players are available again, it will be very difficult to stop them. I don't think any team in Ligue 1 can be a match for PSG, even though they can sometimes suffer surprise defeats. However, that doesn't change anything in the standings, PSG still sits at the top. In the Champions League, PSG strength will be greatly taken into account by other contestants, especially since they are the defending champions. Regardless of whether they can repeat last season success, PSG is clearly among the favorites among many.

I'm really curious to hear what you all think about this match.

No one doubts PSG, obviously. But Strasbourg, even though they’re seen as a weaker side, have started the season really well, and that makes me think this won’t be an easy game for PSG. I still expect PSG to win in the end, but I also think Strasbourg will put up a fight and won’t just roll over. They’ll definitely try to cause an upset.

They are actually the greatest in that league since then till date and no one comes close but it's quite unfortunate they couldn't won any European trophy even with such an incredible squad, one of the reasons that made me believe sometimes it's not really All about quality players but understanding of a team, who could believe after with all these star players that have came and left they still manage to lift and European trophy with an unexpected team that no one could believe on, imagine player like osmane Dembele that was mocked and rejected at Barcelona will turns out to win the ballon D'or, so we just hope it lasts in the Europe competition.

PSG were simply not the greatest since in the French league1 as it hasn't being long they took over the vanguard of the league after they were bought and majorly owned by the Qatar mogul, the QSI. But currently they have the most league titles. Before winning the UCL trophy, PSG was always underrated in European football settings but now much of that has changed. The team spirit with no single player practically having  be the key determinant of the team's success in a game was the secret to PSG championship in the UCL and that's truly an outstanding achievement for Enrique.

Paris Saint-Germain currently leads the table with five wins in seven matches. Frankly, I expected seven wins from them. Their defeat in Marseille was particularly surprising. However, sometimes such results are natural. Players have their good days and their bad days. The good thing is that these results make the French league more exciting. Otherwise, following the French league would be pointless, because it wouldn't be fun to watch a league where Paris Saint-Germain wins the championship.
