PSG are not getting kicked out easily, they are competent to show their self in any phase of the final, no doubt even with the absence of some key players their performance isn't running down. PSG are not backing down in the race for the Champions League yet i don't expect them to win it for the second consecutive time, it is going to be a hard performance making it to that level, but however they perform in Ligue 1, they still remain the most favorite to win the title, no team comes closer to their weak form, it is norm for PSG all is left are the remaining Champions League space for other sides to compete.

The Ligue One is owned by the elite teams. There's nought hope for average clubs because they're just existing to fight for a spot to maintain in the Ligue One while the elite ones goes for major trophies. Talking about trophies, Paris Saint-Germain are favorite to win the Ligue One and besides this is not even a debate for the club. The France Ligue One is grandly the birthright of Paris Saint-Germain, they always come up with full expectations to win and lift this trophy.

This PSG wankign remidns me of the same people here that ignored when I repeatedly told them that bookies aren't stupid to give them  out of the blue 1.9 odds against Marseille, nor are they that stupid to offer Lille at 1.4 on +1AH, wow, undefetead at home but still barely 1 point above a team that was 2 losses out of three matches by round 3.

The Ligue One is owned by the elite teams. There's nought hope for average clubs because they're just existing to fight for a spot to maintain in the Ligue One while the elite ones goes for major trophies.

And that is different from Bundesliga where we have Bayern and nothing else, La Liga where we have Barcelona and Real and again nothing else, the only exception being Serie A , which obviously doesn't have any elite teams as they all play like amateurs when they get out of their league and into CL.

When these players are not on the field, PSG becomes weak. Just look at the fact that they already lost a Ligue 1 match against the current second-place team and are coming off a draw against Lille. So, I wouldn't feel safe betting on PSG to win. I think these odds in their favor are very low, in my opinion, especially when we see that they have many injured players and their opponent is currently in third place in the table.

They are not a weak opponent. What makes a team strong is not the name, but the players on the team. When you have a case like this where many good players are injured, then PSG is not as strong as it is being presented in the odds.

So far they have really performed so well already and even out performed some teams in some cases but is it enough to say they are sure to win the Ligue 1 title this season? because we still have so many weeks ahead in which a lot can happen and things could change their course of movements before we even realise it enough. I honestly want another team winning it this season, let us see if there will be some senses of competition on a new dimension in the Ligue 1 this season.
I, too, want another team to win the French league title. It's not just me, it's not just you, it's almost everyone in the world who wants it, because competition always makes the league more attractive. However, as far as I can see, there's still no team in France that's stronger than Paris Saint-Germain. Even if Marseille beat them, Paris Saint-Germain is still clearly superior.

Therefore, 1.30 doesn't seem like a good return on the risk. But considering that PSG is much stronger on paper and playing a direct competitor could give them the motivation to show their best, I'd take PSG with a -1 handicap at odds of 1.81. So 1.30 is bad but 1.81 is good

The major challenge that other clubs in Ligue 1 is having is poor finance if not they would have equipped their teams with the players of their choice and challenge PSG in the league. However, PSG isn't a weak club because we have tested them in several European competitions and they defeated majority of the strongest clubs in Europe.

PSG players are on injury and the ones on ground don't have the full strength compared to when they are complete on ground. It totally makes sense to go for the -1 handicap here. From what I’ve seen in the H2H, whenever PSG plays at home against Strasbourg, they usually win by a 2-goal margin. So I’m on board with taking that handicap option to get better odds that match the risk you’re taking.

But honestly, I’m curious, which bookmakers is offering -1 handicap odds at @1.80? I’ve checked a few places and the -1 handicap odds are only around @1.42.

Right now, I’m also thinking BTTS could be a good shout at odds @1.79.

Yes I agree! PSG are the top team in the league as things stand but Strasbourg have also been impressive so far this season and holding the third position spot on the table. I also believe they will put up a good fight against PSG which could go either ways. However PSG are still favourites to win this game but we will see what Strasbourg can do.

But the interesting thing is that Strasbourg won the last match they played against PSG. Strasbourg is in very good form this season too. They have won 5 of the 7 matches. They are in third place in the table. If they can win against PSG, Strasbourg will be able to occupy the top spot in the table. So both teams will try their best to win. This is going to be one of the most competitive matches in Ligue 1.

Before the league started, many predicted that PSG would be difficult to beat and wouldn't drop points because they are so strong, so the teams in Ligue 1 simply aren't strong enough to steal points against them.

However the reality is that so far PSG has dropped five points in seven matches. This means that even though PSG is very strong in all aspects, anything can happen in football. From the beginning PSG has no challenger in the league 1, if you ask the owners of the team they will tell you they are tired of winning the French league 1 tittle there most needed trophy was the UEFA Champions league tittle and they were most excited for winning the UEFA Champions league. It was before that the league 1 had some good teams, no strong team in the league that's why no team can challenge them Strasbourg is just fighting for a top 4 spot and not to win the tittle PSG will get them eliminated this weekend, i think PSG will be more concern in the UEFA Champions league.

I'm not at all confident in Marseille's abilities, even though they are currently only one point behind PSG in the standings after seven matches at the start of the season. Meanwhile, PSG will still be quite relaxed in this Ligue 1 season with their abilities, because the only thing that will pose a serious challenge for PSG is when they compete in the Champions League. Because there is always a much tougher competition for any team, including PSG, despite their success in winning the Champions League last season.

PSG has been really consistent in the last five seasons this is a very big record that it will be difficult for other teams to come and break . It will take sometimes before any team can do something special like what PSG has done.  But this has gone to show the quality of French ligue 1 the standard and quality of the teams has really reduced because there has not been a good team that has really challenged PSG for the title race.


The seasons that Monaco and Lille won the league title they were really impressive and had great players, for any team to win the league anytime some soon such a team should invest in players which could be consistent because in terms of player investments the other teams has not done much.

Paris Saint-Germain football team stats is very strong against Strasbourg Alsace football team as that team played 5 matches against Strasbourg Alsace football team and  3 matches won by Paris Saint-Germain football team and one match was ended with draw result and one match lost by that team. Strasbourg Alsace football team performance was excellent in the recent matches as they played against good teams and now they have good confidence to play against Paris Saint-Germain football team And they will try to win this match. Strasbourg Alsace team won 4 matches out of last 5 matches which they played against different teams but team will win this match which will play well in this match.
