Luis Enrique knows that his men are capable of defending the title again this season which is why he has chosen to relax his pace of winning all his matches. I feel that PSG is more focused on their Champion League matches currently.

PSG is a club that is never going to be able to perform well in bigger competitions like the Champions League because they do not have that level of competition in domestic matches. But now it seems like things have taken a turn in the opposite direction. At least the Ligue 1 is not as one-sided as it is in general yet in this season. Maybe that’s because it is relatively early and PSG will start performing more consistently later in the season. I am happy that PSG won convincingly against Brest 3-0 in their Home stadium,a victory that have skyrocket them back to their 1st position in the Lique 1 shortly after lens Defeated Marseille 2:1. However,PSG haven't been consistent, perhaps have been giving less attention in the Lique 1 but as the Lique progresses,PSG will balance its consistent the same way it is doing in the UEFA champions League.

Before PSG's victory in the last match of Ligue 1 against Brest, Marseille was at the top of the points table and PSG was in second position, but after earning full points in the last match, PSG has once again secured the top position of the points table. PSG's number one position in the points table has been easily secured because of Marseille's defeat against Lens. PSG is always a top team in the French league, so we will feel more comfortable seeing them at number one position in the points table. They may have given their full attention to the Champions League tournament, but they should not forget about their local league competition. Since there is no team comparable to PSG in the local league, they will win this title by a large margin.

PSG dropping 7 points of 27 points earned in last 9 matches but this week success return back to first standings after Marseille loss three points from Lens. Actually PSG get advantage after many rival teams easily loss points behind they can get 27 points of 9 matches but until this game week PSG only have 20 points. For awhile, PSG have one point left from Lens and two points remaining with Marseille and Lyon, its automatically every week can change the top standings depend PSG will success get three points and the lower standings team will loss points or not.
PSG loss three points when beating by Marseille and have two draws with Lille and Strasbourg, comparison last season PSG performance it bad starting for PSG have losses many points and not easily as usually will secure the Ligue 1 tittle behind many matches left before competition ended. Fewest points left with other team on current standings is not comfortable yet for PGS if want defending their Ligue 1 tittle.

They're missing a significant number of players from the starting lineup. Furthermore, the players likely can't fully focus on the league.
Because they're doing very well in the Champions League.
Barring any major setbacks, PSG will still win the league, but this complacency could deprive them of the title.
It's also important to acknowledge that PSG's squad is far superior to Ligue 1.
Even if their substitutes consistently played just four or five matches, they could still win the championship. But they need to play consistently.

No team in ligue 1 can competite with PSG right now because PSG is the most inform team in the world, look at how they won Barcelona no team in Ligue 1 can come close to PSG they will lift there Ligue title this season and may also lift the champions League title.

If Marseille could continue their winning   streak, they would have occupied the top spot of the table. But we saw Marseille's defeat against Lens in the last match. As a result , Lens is now in second place in the table and marseille is in third place. PSG  is 1 point ahead of Lens. PSG's main focus is on the Champions league match.Even then, winning the Ligue  1 title will not be very difficult for PSG. Although Lens and Marseille are performing well now, it will be very  difficult for these teams to continue this good performance until the end of the season. So I am sure that PSG will win the Ligue 1 title this season as well.

It's so unfortunate that Metz had to suffer the consequences of Lille conceding defeat to Poak in the Europa League, it seems Lille channeled all their aggression to them, well I love their energy cause some team would've been affected by the defeat and go ahead to concede in their domestic league cause of low confidence but they didn't all what happened in the  Europa to weaken their morale.

 At first I thought Marseille would really challenge PSG but I'm still very skeptical if any team would shake them this season, well I can tell if Lille would be the team, cause of a victory against Metz but time would tell, however PSG is all my favorites to win the league and I'll support them till the very end in the Ligue 1 tournament.

I see Marseille's loss to Lens making Ligue 1 much more competitive, with every team vying for the top spot. Lens currently sits in second place, just one point behind leaders PSG. Marseille and Lyon are also just one point behind Lens. We're seeing more teams competing for the top spot now, not just two or three.

And with such a narrow margin, every week is crucial because if they lose just one match, they'll be knocked off the top. This is the kind of competition Ligue 1 has been waiting for for a long time, as I've grown quite bored every season of seeing only PSG at the top of the table from start to finish.

Marseille's defeat to Lens made PSG easily return to the top of the table this week, it was a bonus opportunity, if Marseille won it was very difficult to catch up.
PSG's victory from Brest strengthens again, 3-0 for this match, and Demebele is back after recovery, of course it will return to be better because the difference with Lens is only 1 point, this position cannot be said to be safe if the difference is like this.

Next week against Lorient and this team is not so good this season and is under threat of relegation if Auxerre wins against Strasbourg, and Lorient loses to PSG is sure to accompany Metz in the relegation zone.

Dembele has been crucial in the last two seasons, and if he doesn't play, the attack might look a little different, even if there are other players who can fill in.

Paris Saint-Germain will be the team that will ultimately win the French league title, as everyone expects. I'm sure of that. Marseille held the lead for a while, but lost this week, handing it back to Paris Saint-Germain. Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain, after a brief stint in second place, has returned to first place. They're already playing so well that even finishing second was a major surprise.

When you spend more on transfers and salaries than a few other teams combined around you, then it is not really a shocker to be a champion. That is how Bayern and PSG type of teams dominate their league, on the leagues where the teams do not spend more than next three teams combined, we do not see these domination.

Money has "ruined" football according to some, I just believe it showed up who has what it takes to win whenever they want to, PSG has the money, so the question is, do we punish PSG for being this good, just for the sake of competing, or do we promote others and find a way for them to get this kind of money as well? I think a competition between plenty of rich teams would be a lot better, aka premier league style.

I would say that Luis Enrique's first target is the Champions League. But psg will also fight for the title of Ligue 1. Ligue 1 is not very competitive as we know. At the beginning of the season several teams fight for the title, but at the end of the season these teams are no longer to be found.

PSG's points gap with Marseille last season was 19. And in the previous season PSG was 9 points ahead of Monaco. And from the beginning of this season we see lens and marseille playing very well and fighting for the title. Even psg lost against Marseille. However, I don't see Lens or Marseille as a threat for the title. If psg's performance is stable, the ligue 1 title will go to psg this season as well.

When a few rounds ago PSG had some of their best players injured, it was the only good opportunity that the other Ligue 1 teams had to distance themselves from PSG in the table, but they didn't take advantage of the chance and now PSG has recovered and it will be difficult for the other teams to pass PSG in the table, unfortunately these other Ligue 1 teams have been very inconsistent, I don't know what the hell is wrong with them, I had already said this when PSG lost, that it wasn't something to worry about because these other teams would lose a lot, so even if PSG was doing badly, they can still be champions, because the other teams are a disaster

Marseille actually had that opportunity, but for some reason, their performance faltered and they were unable to score more points. At the time, PSG were in a precarious position, and they even managed to beat them, but they couldn't maintain their form and score enough points to maintain their top spot.

Now, PSG has recovered and is once again showing their dominance. They even managed to thrash Leverkusen by a huge score in the Champions League yesterday. They will likely pick up more points in their next match against Lorient and widen their lead at the top of the Ligue 1 table.

Considering the situation they are in, PSG should be taking things slow at ligue one simply. They are going to try to win a treble back to back, league and cup should in theory be easiest, cup is always hard of course because with just one game you could lose out , so every game matters, unlike league where you can lose a few times and still win the whole thing.

But the hardest will be UCL and for that reason we should be expecting them to do a better job at rotating players and resting them. One thing I’m expecting to see in Ligue 1 is that even if PSG will later win the trophy, they should work hard for it. It shouldn’t be that easy for them as in the previous season. From all indications, that is what will happen, as the competition is getting much bigger in Ligue 1. They are now just a point ahead of Lens, who are the runners up, and I know it will still not be easy for them to maintain that position. Any missed 3 points from PSG now will make them drop drastically in the table, as either a draw or a lost game will cost them more than they can think of. That is the quantity of pressure in Ligue 1, and I enjoy it this way.

We all know that they will definitely win the league and there will be no doubt, but the only problem that will be is that it will not be as an express to the trophy this season, although they will still win it, but the numbers of point they will attained is far behind that of the previous season.
For the previous match they have played we can clearly see that the team was suffering from a great injury and till this moment, most of them have not been to fit to play, even though they are on the pitch.
