Now with the draw that occurred, Lyon can take advantage of the situation to be able to catch up with the points owned by PSG which will make the competition a little more pronounced in Ligue 1 although maybe for the final result it will always be guessed who the champion is.

I think that this kind of championship is one-way and therefore PSG will win and win again and it seems like they will never stop, they have the strongest team in the league and this makes everything easier, with money the whole show ends and the only chance to see it is in the championship league

No doubt about PSG having the best squad in the league but when you keep dropping points like this against team like Lorient then is unacceptable and Also questionable. The 3 men up front that run the league riot were available then why not use them and secure all points. There overall performance in the league this season have been poor compared to last season. They have not lost 1 match and 3 draws in 10 matches which is very unlike them.

They really need to do better especially with Lyon been a big treat this season. They still remain top of the league for now but performances like that will drop them first position soon.

From this we can also say that a team that beats PSG or steals points from them isn't enough to compete for the title. You are correct as to Marseille, Lille, and Strasbourg losing points... but to one another, not to relegation fodder. Lille 6-1, Strasbourg 5-0. They're not inconsistent. They simply are unable to defeat themselves. That's their ceiling showing

Yet the consistency of PSG is boring them to mediocrity. They are so obsessed with not losing that they have forgotten how to control. That Brest game? 75% possession and they hardly made any better opportunities than a bus parked team. In the meantime Lens possessed 32% of the possession against Marseille, and cut them to pieces. The distinction between appearing good and being effective

And be careful of that 3-4-2-1 that everybody is playing with these days. It was used to beat Marseille by Lens, to draw PSG 2-0 with Strasbourg. Other teams will follow this model, and the billion-dollar team of PSG will be in actual trouble

Will they win? Probably. Depth matters over 38 games. However, this season is going to be much tougher than they might expect, particularly when Lyon continues to score late or when Marseille discovers their grove once more

I wouldn't blame Luis Enrique for the current form of Paris Saint-Germain and how it affects them in Ligue One stats. PSG lost confidence already when most of their key men were sidelined but regained confidence when they traveled to Spain to face Barcelona, not only facing Barcelona but also humbled Barcelona with half of the squad been injured and absent. This was the very moment I believe PSG didn't come here to play and that single victory against Barcelona settle the fact that they would have won Barcelona last season if they met in the UCL final.

PSG becomes vulnerable and weak in Ligue One and we know this is not good for them. There are quite good numbers of returning players to Paris Saint-Germain and also having to see some coming back and also sustaining another injury which will keep them on the sideline for months, directly talking about Doué. This is not good for the young lad because there's more games to play for the club, anyways we wish him quick recovery.

And actually they also got a red card after dropping the score gap to 2 so... Lyon had serious defensive problems. By the way I really wonder how these teams scored 3 goals each with 0.62 and 1.25 xGs. 

Paris FC, a newly promoted team, getting a point from Lyon after being three goals down is a big error from Lyon and it shows that Lyon is not very serious as a team. Even with the red card, the worst they would have allowed was two goals and not for Paris FC to score them three just because of a single red card. This means that if they had that red card early in the game when they had not scored those goals, then they would have lost the match by more than three goals. They need to prepare for different scenarios even cases where they are given two red cards.

At this point PSG do not fear loosing a position on the table and that is mostly because they have that form and strength, aswell well as the squads depth and form, even with their supposed inconsistency in the league this season, they still do have the chance stay at the top of the table and also be able to defend the title since they see the most recent champions, the initial contention all other supposed top team were attempting at PSG will obviously die down by mid season and they will all fall of as top contenders leaving PSG at the top.

The recent results involving teams in the French Ligue1 is becoming something else the case of the Paris FC and Lyon is one but there are many other matches that should be investigated because I feel something is going on that we may not know. From 0:3 to 3:3 was the case of Paris FC and Lyon, check Marseille and Angers, PSG and Lorient, Lorient and Lorient. Let's not go further on the Lyon cause the whole thing is looking like match fixing.

The match was tense and unfortunately Lyon couldn't get the win in this match even though they were the first to press Paris, I saw how Lyon worked hard to form an attack to beat Paris. in the first half and at the beginning of the second half they managed to do it unfortunately after 60 minutes it was different, their defense was exposed and also they had a bad history because both of them had red cards that didn't need to be done actually, and their cards made things worse, making Lyon unable to do much to attack or defend, and until the end of the league Paris could create a goal to draw the match.

Yeah, the performance of Paris Saint German as not being encouraging like other season as they have been overshadowed already. Though it is normal to be in this state at time and definitely to me it will never change anything, as we all are going to witness it, no matter what will happen Paris Saint German will still be victorious in this season as I see that as the most favorite team to win the title. What I really wanted from the French team is completely competition so it will look interesting. But nevertheless PSG is always dominant to win the league.

Yes, they are certainly very confident in themselves to get a victory in league 1, of course they have the strength to get a victory and dominate in league 1, as long as they do not have a large difference with the top position they will easily catch up, conquer the top team, see Monaco and Marseille will only have hope, they will lose in the current season with the ability possessed by PSG today, in fact PSG will get another victory and again.

The competition is very competitive until week 10, it is very interesting to see the points collected by the teams ranked 1st to 6th.
The draw that PSG just achieved at FC Lorient headquarters was truly unexpected because the difference in quality of the teams was very far, PSG did not look like an elite team at all in this match, especially in the first half, they played very poorly and failed to create dangerous opportunities. Losing 2 points puts PSG under even more pressure, now they are 1 point ahead of Monaco who are in 2nd place and 2 points ahead of the other four teams in the top six.

It is still uncertain whether PSG can maintain their dominance in Ligue 1 because so far they have often dropped points when facing small teams, Monaco is clearly a threat to them, if Luis Enrique does not immediately evaluate his team, maybe they will suffer the same fate as Bayern Munich when Leverkusen managed to win the Bundesliga trophy.

So, when Enrique focuses more on the Champions League, it means he's aware that they can play this competition with relative ease, as they could ultimately win the title again this season. The match I enjoyed between the Nantes vs Monaco teams was Monaco team scored 5 goals and Nantes team scored 3 goals. I enjoyed a tough match between the two teams. I think Nantes team performed well against Monaco team because Nantes team scored 3 goals.

Even if PSG end up being the winners of the league, it will still not be as easy for them as it used to be. That is what we need to be seeing in Ligue 1 because they are becoming too dominant in the league. This pressure and competition in the domestic league will make PSG more focused, because they will not like to see themselves losing the championship of the league.

I completely agree with you, and the red cards for Paris FC and Lyon prove that Paris' midfield was strong enough to pressure Lyon's defense and failed to withstand their attacks.
A 3 goal lead should have given Lyon more confidence, but instead, it caused Lyon to lose confidence and have to accept the draw.
I can only imagine the odds for a draw must have been very high when Lyon was 3 goals up and Paris hadn't scored yet, and this really benefited gamblers who were willing to risk a draw during the match.

I think competition in the French league is even lower than in the German league, because PSG seems to have played three draws and still occupies first place.
So if there is any competition, it will be between Monaco, Marseille, and Lyon for second and third place. 

It is hard to understand how things are going on French Ligue 1. First Paris Saint-Germain is always dominating the league regardless of the other teams results. Second the other teams always fail when there is opportunity to reduce the gap with PSG.
In this round for example, the teams that were able to overtake PSG or at least have the same number of points with it failed to collect three points. Mind you their opponents are sitting in the other half of the tables. Take a look on Lens and how they failed to win versus the last team in the ranking.. by the way it was Metz first victory after 10 Rounds. I don't have much expectation from them and it will be hard to figure out the second and third team when you see such results.

In the champions League PSS has not experienced a decline in performance but in their domestic league they are declining gradually they no longer look dangerous to other teams even the teams you expect them to defeat with ease is getting a point against them which is not good for the team. The coach can be very confident in the squad he has but it should reflect in the performance of the team if they must retain the trophy this season but if they keep letting their confidence deceive them while they keep having poor results then by the end of the season Enrique will be surprised to see his team losing the title even when he will be having all his injured players back to the team.
